Animation as a part of primary prevention in elementary school

This thesis presents the possibilities of usage of the animation approach in the context of primary prevention program appleid in primary shools. After defining the content, goals and focus of the primary prevention, this thesis acquaints with specific programs of primary prevention, with their characteristics and the fundamental methods, from which the key ones are sociometrics, reflection and working with the group. Furthermore the thesis is focused on the position of a teacher, his personality and compares his possible effect in the whole animation process. The thoughts on different animation processes, their approaches with the goals and the possible guidance of the primary prevention, are the fundamental part of this thesis. The other subject is the effectiveness of the primary programs and their factors, which can infulence the process. The conclusion of this thesis indicates the importance of the connection of the animation approach in this pedagogical process.
Irreplaceable role in drama education in their personal and social development of the individual

The main theme of this thesis is the irreplaceable role of drama education in their personal and social development of the individual. The first chapter deals with the concepts of drama education, communication , leisure , social roles , socialization and education. The second chapter deals with the pedagogy of leisure time, in the third chapter describes the main methods and objectives of drama education. The fourth chapter deals with the social and personal development . In the practical part of the monthly project entitled , Shoes dělaj man " , which was conducted with students aged 10-15 years. The aim is to help pupils eligible activities lead to all-round development with the involvement of the most dramatic activities to promote pupils' individuality and sense of group work and induce in students a sense that even ordinary things such as a boot , you can do extraordinary things .
Water tourism as a supplement to primary and secondary school education

This work concerns the topic of water tourism from the point of view of its terminology, its historical development in the Czech Republic, streams and canoeing equipment. Its major part shows ways of introducing the subject of water tourism in primary and secondary schooling, namely as courses which seem to be the best way thanks to their time allocation and the content. Such a course as a supplement to the education is perceived primarily as means of pedagogical influence over students in their leisure time. That is the way the work creates comprehensive overview of knowledge in the sphere of water tourism as a supplement to school education, and presents suitable space for an educator of leisure time. On top of that the work covers the survey which is focused on how often water tourism is incorporated in curriculum at elementary and secondary schools in South Bohemia. It brings the information on the respondents' attitude to the topic.
Theories of intelligence and their significance for educational theory and practice

The thesis deals with theories of intelligence and their significance for pedagogical theory and practice. The first part of the thesis describes theories of intelligence, specific theories of intelligence, mental retardation, causes of mental retardation, and focus on the relationship between theories of intelligence and pedagogical theory and practice. The second section presents an overview of current educational theories and practices, the education of gifted children and education of mentally retarded children. The last part deals with the range of leisure activities for gifted children and children with mental disabilities.
Leisure Education - animation or manipulation?

The dissertation is trying to find out, if there are used only animation technics in the leisure education, or if it is affected with manipulation as all other parts of our life. For the objective answer there was a need to define clearly the manipulation, it´s various forms and then also concepts, which are directly connected with manipulation or on the contrary they should exclude it. It was primarily about authority, freedom, might, and the mass behaviour. Subsequently it was necessary to concentrate on various types of education and on the occurrence of manipulation in them. After finding out that manipulation became the part of education it was convenient, for the needs of this dissertation to define the manipulation from the ethical point of view. The last chapter evaluates the individual methods and practical instructions of leisure education, trying to find out if manipulation occures in them, or if it is about the pedagogical influencing which means the ethical acceptable form of manipulation.
The influence of folk culture, traditions and customs to children education and their application in dramatic education

The thesis presents the infuence of folk culture to children education. Theoretical part presents history of relate tradions of folk culture with basic part of folk. There is also summary and description of several traditions, customs and feast through the folk year. The second part devote of tradition folk culture in school education and leisure education in present and in historical changes of schools. Practical part attempts find possibility application of tradition folk culture in dramatic education. Creative project gets acquainted children with history and meaning customs called "Openin the well". Aim of project is motivate members of folk dance group to practise and present of this custom.
Before/after shool clubs educational programmes key competences

This work treats about before/after shool clubs educational programmes key competences classification and work out. In its theoretical part, the work aims at before/after school club´s characterization, role, function and its objectives´ definition. There is marginally before/after school club documentation mentioned as well. In more details, it pays attention to school eductaional programme that is worked out by before/after shool club. The work points out connection of before/after school club´s educational programme with elemntary school´s educational programme. There are highlited several attitudes to incorporation of key competences into the document ? is it obligation, or not? Different ways of key competences development in before/after school club are introduced here as well. The field part is aimed at particular processing of key competences in before/after school clubs´ school educational programmes in the whole Czech Republic. The documents were clasified into several groups according to their classification profundity and according to their key competences´elaboration. Further, the work is aimed only at the third group, exploring the key competences´ content, style and porcessing extent. The shortcomings in connection between particular activities and developed competences are in this work pointed out as well.
Twenty years of leisure education in the Czech and Slovak Republics (1990-2010)

The concept of leisure education has been in use in Czech and Slovak environment since 1990 as a new label for after-class education. Leisure education is perceived as a branch of education involved in valorizing the leisure time of children and young adults. No Czech or Slovak publication has so far provided its complex classification or an overview of its origin, development, aims, approaches and overall practical use. The aim of the paper is to provide an overview of perception and understanding of leisure time in the works of selected Czech and Slovak authors in the last 20 years. The authors? conceptions of leisure education are confronted with one another with the aim to grasp the main developmental tendencies, forms and current aspirations of leisure education. The paper deals with the various definitions of the concept of leisure education and related concepts. The paper approaches the concept of leisure education from the viewpoint of its position within the classification of educational sciences, from the historical point of view and from the points of view of the individual authors and university subjects.
Doing Philosophy with Children as a Way of Experience-Based Leisure Education

The thesis presents possibilities and hazards resulting from the combination of experience-based education methods and those of doing philosophy with children. Having defined the terms used, it introduces the aims, key features and basic methods of leisure education; furthermore, experience-based education is described in more detail together with its fundamental elements: dramaturgy, adventure, reflection and games. The latter two elements are understood to be the links between experience-based education and Philosophy for children program. Then, the follow-up reflection on the interface between Philosophy with children and experiential activities is the substantial part of the thesis. Besides other topics, the philosophical aspects of games and reflection (review) as possible ways of experience-based philosophical inquiry are dealt with. Thus, in the closing part of the thesis, the potential for connecting philosophical inquiry and the experience itself is outlined.
Dimension of plain air painting in leisure education

Project related to plain air painting is proposed and documented according to author´s personal experience with plain air painting and its methods.
