Studies of contemporary student slang in Banja Luka

My thesis deals with the problems of language situation in Banja Luka and the most of all with the describing of contemporary student slang at University of Banja Luka with focus on Philosophical Faculty. Language behavior of local students is infuenced by the following factors: 1) language factors (standard language, dialect, sociolect, idiolect, foreign language), 2) non-language factors (demographical, economical, social and cultural). During the research stay in Banja Luka slang units were gathered by the means of questionnaire, observation, interview and other sociolinguistical methods. The slang units were sorted according to the determined criteria. There were two levels on which student slang in Banja Luka was being studied: lexical level and functional (communicative) level. This thesis has offered insight into the language situation in the student surroundings of University in Banja Luka in the academical year 2007/08. By this work a certain foundation for possible future research of Banja Luka sociolects is given.

The Bachelor’s Thesis is based on the architectural study done in the summer semester of the third year of bachelor’s studies of the topic Technology tranfer cetre BUT in Brno. Area of Technology transfer centre of BUT (Brno university of technology) is composed of three separated units - two production complexes and main buidling, which is used for administration in first floor and laboratories in second floor. Design is conditioned by two criteria - an adaptation of objects structure to configuration of terrain and a flexibility of function and logistic. Solution to these issues was to create main communication connected with existing communication. It provides easy and fast logistic service for the production complexes. Shape of the buildings follows contour lines. Due to dynamic shapes I designed simple industrial monochromatic facade, which allows an experimentation with the mass of the building. Line of the flat roof was broken by simple skylights. Strip windows potentiate horizontality in contrast with the main building, which has vertically based character. Industrial character of the complex was accentuated by using metallic facade and prefabricated concrete construction.

Neuberger, P., Consumer behaviour of young consumers between 15-29 years on fast food market in South Moravia region. Master Thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of Business and Economics, 2015. This master thesis is focused on consumer behaviour of young consumers between 15-29 years at fast food market in South Moravia region. The main aim of this thesis is to identify factors which influence consumer during buying process at this particular group of consumers and on this principle formulate general valid marketing recommendation. Qualitative and quantitative methods are used for research. Focus groups method and questionnaire method were used in research exactly. The result of these methods were used for cluster analysis. The result of cluster analysis are cluster with similar properties and members of these clusters are influenced by same factors. On this base general valid marketing recommendations are made for each cluster. These recommendations can be used in South Moravia region.

Comparison of Utility Programs MS Excel and SAS

The final thesis deals with the comparing of the usability of Microsoft Excel programs and Statistical Analysis Software and exposing their advantages and disadvantages in data processing. The work attempts to evaluate using programs in employment and at universities. The using of these programs will be studied in detail at The University of Economics, Faculty of Management in Jindřichův Hradec.

Aromatické sloučeniny obsažené v mátě zjištěné metodou plynové chromatografie

For species Mentha x piperita, Mentha spicata and Mentha longifolia grown on land Mendel University in Lednice, was evaluated morphological structure and content of aromatics in the species Mentha x piperita and Mentha spicata. They were found large differences between species in the evaluation of morphological characteristics and they were found differences within species too. It was confirmed that the genus Mentha is a very variable species. The content and composition of the aromatics in the extrudate from the plant Mentha x piperita and Mentha spicata were researched by the method SPEM-GC/MS. The main components of the species Mentha x piperita were: (-) - menthol, linalool, (Z) -a-farnesene, eugenol, alpha-pinene, (z) -citral, limonene, linalool, (E) -2-hexanal, 3-octanone , 3-methyl-1-butanol, methyl acetate. The type of Mentha spicata had the highest content of substances: (-) - menthol, linalool, (Z) -a-farnesene, (z) -citral, alpha pinene, eugenol, alpha-citronellol, (E) -2-hexanal, 3 -octanone, 3-methyl-1-butanol, methyl acetate. The most important and most dominant aromatic compound was menthol.

Decision making in the initial phase of the architectonic project

Předmětem aspirantské práce byla racionalizace rozhodování v počáteční fázi projektování budov a úprav prostředí, tj. od většinou vágního zadání až po návrh disposice budov. Jako metodu racionálního rozhodování problémů zvolil aspirant formální logiku, teorii grafů, využití počítačů. Obsahem disertace jsou i obecně srozumitelné pasáže, s ohledem na obsah vysokoškolské výuky architektů. Hlavními výsledky aspirantury je pojmové zpřesnění, model a metoda řešení problémů slučitelnosti činností ve společném prostředí (místnostech), uspořádání a propojení místností v jednopodlažních budovách (disposiční řešení). Aspirantura probíhala při zaměstnání ve výzkumu výstavby, její výsledky byly podkladem pro úkoly, které aplikovanému výzkumu byly zadávány. Přílohou je grafický výstup výpočtu optimální rozsáhlé disposice z r. 1967, pomocí programu "Rovinný rozvrh", jehož autorem byl Jan Moučka za spolupráce matematiků- programátorů. Školícím místem bylo ČVUT, Fakulta architektury. Školiteli byli prof.ing.arch. Oldřich Starý a univ.prof. Otakar Zich DrSc, vedoucí katedry logiky University Karlovy. Oponentem byl prof.Jiří Štursa.
