Application of overvoltage protection in LV networks
Knebl, Jan ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This paper describes the design of surge protection for objects of civil construction. The aim of this paper is to acquaint the reader with the problems of this region, which is nowadays especially for houses neglected. The introductory part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical analysis of the problem and become familiar with the standards in force, without which a person moving in this field certainly can not do. In the first major section is a repartition surge in general terms. In the second chapter, a repartition of surge protection on the inside and outside and a description of the individual components of these protections. The third chapter is made complete design protection for the school building, the first step is an analysis of the risks to unprotected building, then the protected and ultimately design of internal and external surge protection. In the last chapter, a check is made of the risk analysis using DEHN Support.
The design of the lightning protection for the house
Tesař, Luděk ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
This work describes the design rules for the lightning protection of civic construction. The aim of this work is to provide a comprehensive view of the basic design rules for the lightning protection. The actual design is preceded by the detailed introduction to the relatively large problems in this sphere. The introductory part is focused on the approach of technical standards and legislative requirements. In the second chapter the thesis deals with lightning in general and lightning current and its parameters. The following chapter focuses on the effects of lightning current, indicating the damage caused by lightning strikes to the building or its surroundings. Then the thesis deals with analysis and risk management. The next chapter describes and explains the system of external and internal lightning protection. The last part is devoted to a specific design of the lightning protection for the chosen house.
The desingn of the lighting protection for civil buildings
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the issue of lightning protection and goes along with ČSN EN 62 305 norms. First part goes into effects of lightning on objects and engineering networks in theory. Second part familiarizes external lightning protection and possibilities of its realization. The issues of internal protection against lightning and surge protection are analysed afterwards. Second half familiarizes protected family house and the risks are calculated for this house. External protection is designed and verified by protective angle and rolling sphere methods. Last part of this thesis focuses on internal surge protection and individual levels of surge protection are designed.
Atmospheric Phenomena
Radouš, Jakub ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Kobrtek, Jozef (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with a visualisation issue of several atmospheric phenomena by means of the OpenGL library. The work contains theoretical bases for rain, snowfall, lightning, fog, wind, tornado and rainbow, which are further converted to the form of algorithms. The outcome is an application with graphical user interface that is able to display seven natural phenomena set in a landscape.
Nursery school, Brno
Sedláček, Jan ; Peterka, Tomáš (referee) ; Müller, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this work is the solution of a new building of nursery school in the village of Ivanovice. It is a cellarless, two-storey building for 40 childern. The floor plan is „L“ shaped with orientation of the classes to the south and west which provide enough rate (amount) of insolation which support good mood and development of the childern. The object is situated in medium sloping land mainly in the area of familly and residential houses. The main entrance to the building is situated on the south from where si access road to the object too. Comfort parking is provided by ten parking places, one is determined for disabled people. The lighting and ventilation of all rooms is provided by windows. Roofing is solved using of wooden truss in combination with single casing roof.
Design of overvoltage protection for the object with explosive risk
Polášek, Roman ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the designing process of surge protection for the object potentially explosive atmospheres and according to a set of standards ČEN EN 62305 and ČSN EN 60079. This work consists of four main parts. The first part deals with the theory of lightning and surges. Subsequently, in the second part is devoted to the theory of protection against these phenomena and proposals for external and internal lightning protection and surge. This chapter also deals with more demands on electrical installations in hazardous areas. The third part deals with the analysis of the risks to the subject paint and according to ČSN EN 62305-2 ed.2 and at the conclusion of the study is a proposal for external lightning protection and internal surge protection.
Influence of hazardous EM fields on large objects
Klučka, Jaroslav ; Kovács, Peter (referee) ; Řezníček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with simulation of influences of electromagnetic field on an aircraft via computer program PAM-CEM. The aim of the simulation is verification of conditions for placing equipment and cables in chosen places. There were chosen two outer interfering electromagnetic fields: High Intensity Radiated Fields HIRF and a lightning bolt. During the simulation of HIRF, the plane was radiated by outer electromagnetic field. The decomposition of inner electromagnetic field was monitored during the exposure. Then, the electrical intensity was measured in three places, where the location of susceptible electronical devices was predicted. During the simulation of lightning bolt only indirect effects were taken into consideration. Current impulse was implemented into the skin of the aircraft and the decomposition of surface current was monitored.
Storms at the Airports and During Flight - Observation and Forecast
Novozámský, Adam ; Hudec, František (referee) ; Krška, Karel (advisor)
This thesis is focused on describing convectional storms and all the phenomena that goes along it. Marginally describes methods of storms prediction, ways of its observation and some simple principles, which every pilot should know and follow in cases, that he meet’s storm during flight. In the end, the success of storm prediction using CAPE index is assessed.
The forecast of thunderstorm on the airports LKTB and LKMT
Ryba, Přemysl ; Hudec, František (referee) ; Krška, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on hazardous atmospheric phenomena namely presence of thunderstorms in Brno-Turany and Ostrava-Mosnov aerodrome area and it’s forecasting. Extra care is taken for observed period since 2005 till 2009.
Family House
Jakubčánin, Marek ; Selníková, Klára (referee) ; Klimešová, Jarmila (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is realization projection of a family house located in village Stráţa. The house has a partial basement and consists of a living area as well as of an operational area designed for a dentist ambulance. The object contains parking slots for four cars and one parking space in garage, which is situated in the basement of living area of the house. The ground plan of the house has mostly rectangular shape with flat roof. The building is planned to be situated on slightly sloping terrain. The entrace to the dentist's ambulance is situated on the north side and the entrance to the living area of the house is located on the east side. The skeleton of the building will be constructed from the YTONG system.
