The use of water polo exercise in youth swimming training\\
KREJČOVÁ, Eva
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to determine whether the addition of elements of water polo in a swimming training of youth will be more attracting for swimmers without reduction of performance or loss of technical sophistication quality. This target has been investigated by experimental investigation which has conducted for six weeks. The swimmers were divided into experimental and control groups by their age and performance. The elements of water polo were included into the swimming training of the experimental group. The content of training units of the control group remained unchanged throughout the whole investigation. Control measurements were carried out before and after the experimental investigation, which shows that there was no decline in performance of the experimental group. After the experiment an interview with individuals of the experimental group was conducted, which implies positive evolution and popularity of swimming training with elements of water polo. For the determination, whether there is deterioration of technique with inclusion of the water polo elements was carried out an expert assessment of the 2nd class trainer that did not show any deterioration.

VONDRÁŠEK, Václav
The main focus of this master?s thesis is to bring forward and describe the scope of options of how, with the help of fine arts and implementation of experiential pedagogy, young people are creatively aided in processing and grasping variety of topics of the motivational educational program VYTAX, that has as its primary goal to stimulate youth to active involvement in the church. In the theoretical section of this work, the author has attempted to explain the terms relevant to the program itself as they relate to the church and subsequently to clarify the basic ideological direction of the given program in the context of today?s postmodern era. The author places emphasis not only on the program and techniques, but most of all on the pivotal value and impact of quality pedagogical leadership of given collective of young people. In the practical section, the author proposes concrete treatment of 10 topics of the VYTAX program. The scope of topics regarded range from themes of personal spirituality to subjects that not only apply to integration to the church community, but also describe the course of implementation of motivational appeals that will lead participants to an active, creative integration into the church family.
Selected youth fashion styles related with risk behaviour
RIGANOVÁ, Veronika
The title of my thesis is ?Selected Fashion Styles of Young People Associated with Risk Behaviour?. For young people, their appearance is very important. The appearance is a means of expressing identity; in this way, teenagers tell the people around whom they feel to be. As young people want to differentiate from their peers and adults, they express this not only by a certain style of clothing but also behaviour. Thanks to this, young people often enter different subcultures. A subculture can be described as culture of a sub-group that is more or less distinct from the dominant, mainstream and ?official? culture. A subculture consists of groups of people sharing particular values and norms in which they differ from the dominant or mainstream society. Various kinds of risk behaviour are often associated with subcultures. Risk behaviour is a phenomenon threatening the community across all cultures. It threatens the healthy development of juveniles in terms of biological, psychological and social development. The objective of my thesis is to describe selected fashion styles of young people and their specific characteristics in relation to risk behaviour of individual subcultures. The theoretical part describes selected youth subcultures, their history, lifestyles, values, and typical clothing. It also briefly describes the types of risk behaviour that are met in those subcultures. The practical part defines the objectives of the thesis and it describes the actual research, including the comparisons of the results obtained with the findings of other authors mentioned in the theoretical part. The actual research was conducted in a qualitative form using the method of questioning in the form of semi-structured interviews with respondents from youth subcultures. The results of the thesis make it obvious that risky behaviour does occur in the selected subcultures. In all the subcultures, the following can be seen: substance abuse, it was mainly alcohol and marijuana; however, marijuana was not in the emo subculture. In the skinhead subculture, some respondents reported right-wing extremism and violent behaviour. In contrast, in the punk subculture, a tendency to left-wing extremism and violent behaviour was much smaller. As far as hip hop and graffiti subcultures are concerned, only one respondent from the selected sample does graffiti but has not had trouble with the police. It can therefore be concluded that hip-hop and graffiti have not as much in common as it was in the beginning, when the style began to penetrate the country. In the gothic subculture, it was not confirmed that self-mutilation exists as a norm in the subculture. This subculture showed, more than the other subcultures, body-modifying practices but there was also Satanism; however, the respondents refused any connection with the violent practices that are associated with Satanism (cruelty to animals, etc.). Self-mutilation was confirmed in the emo subculture. Three respondents out of four have had some experience with it. Two of them started self-mutilation because of the ?emo rules? that they tried to follow when they started out with this style. All the respondents from the subculture add that self-mutilation has nothing to do with the style, self-mutilation is not one of subcultural norms, and they express opposition to these so-called ?emo rules?. It should be noted that these ?emo rules? were created by a person who did not belong to the subculture. All the respondents, who participated in the research, mention greater or lesser problems because of their style also in their everyday life (school, work, family). I think it?s mainly due to biased information from media. The results of my thesis can serve as a basis for further research, they can be used in teaching these issues and, of course, they can be used in the context of effective primary prevention.

Child Protection Legislation and Problems in the Application Thereof
KADLEC, David
Child protection legislation provides the means and legal basis for appropriate child care in situations where the constructive development and life of a child are at risk. This bachelor thesis addresses the work of a youth curator, who, as a social worker of a child protection agency, applies such legislation in practice. The aim of this thesis was to highlight the problems of applying current child protection legislation and to propose ways forward and solutions. The sample was limited to a group of children with educational problems. The research methodology was based on qualitative research practices and techniques. An analysis of the content of the case records of children with educational problems was the main technique, which was later supplemented by a technique of non-standard interviewing. The research results are presented in the form of case studies accompanied by interviews. The case studies and interviews confirmed that existing child protection legislation can be applied to a wide range of situations. It followed from the discussion that the application of child protection legislation is faced in particular with problems of inconsistency in the practices used by different child protection institutions. These problems consequently impair the efficiency of the youth curator{\crq}s work. The creation of a policy establishing uniform procedures for all participating institutions or the establishment of a state institution to coordinate these processes would offer a way forward in tackling these issues.
