Perspectives of hydrogen propulsion and electromobility
KLEIN, Jan
This thesis deals with the issue of hydrogen propulsion and electromobility. Initially, hydrogen as a chemical element is explained. Thereafter its production, transport and storage are described, the direct principle of hydrogen combustion is discussed and examples of cars using hydrogen are given. Then the subject turns to fuel cells, where the principle of its function is explained, several types of fuel cells are outlined, and the design of a fuel cell car is presented. Next, electricity and its infrastructure are highlighted, and the functional principles of electric vehicle components are explained. Then the functions and specifications of charging points are described. At the end of the theoretical part, different types of plugins for EV charging used globally are presented. In the practical part, an analysis of the number of hydrogen fuel cell cars and EVs worldwide, Europe and the Czech Republic was performed. Furthermore, the infrastructure of both types of cars was mapped on an identical scale and a survey was carried out in the district of Czech Budweis to map hydrogen filling stations and charging points for electric vehicles.
History of EVs and measuring battery under external force.
Šedina, M. ; Kazda, T.
This article describes the modern history of electromobility with the prediction of its market growth and the drivers of change. There are mentioned Li-ion battery's anode materials with their basic parameters and one of the conversion materials, silicon, which represent one of the possible materials for enhancing the capacity of the anode. Usage of the Si opens a few problems which are unnoticeable with actual anode materials, but there are some possible ways how to solve them. One of their solutions could be external force applied on the battery surface, which should reduce inflation of the battery and improve internal conduction.
Ekonomická motivácia k nákupu elektromobilu v krajinách EÚ
Gogová, Patrícia
The diploma thesis examines the relationship between the number of electric vehicles in selected countries and economic incentives supporting the develop-ment of electromobility. Regression analysis is used to examine the relationship, the explained variable in the model is the number of electric cars in a given coun-try, the explanatory variables cover information about the infrastructure of charging stations, incentives, wealth and ecology of countries. The results indicate the impact of value added tax incentives and state contributions on the construc-tion of charging station infrastructure, and there is also a significant impact of the number of charging stations. In the cluster analysis, the formed clusters of states interpreted based on their similarities. The literature review examines the share of transport in greenhouse gas emissions, defines key concepts and principles of electromobility development.
Assessment of electromobility possibilities in the South Bohemian Region
DUCHOŇOVÁ, Eva
This diploma paper evaluates the possibilities of the current state and development of electromobility in the South Bohemian Region in connection to other alternative ways of transport using the knowledge and resources for the development of elec-tromobility worldwide and in the Czech Republic. It further describes the usage in countries whose development affects the electromobility and predicts future devel-opment in the Czech Republic. The possibility of using subsidy titles and state sup-port of electromobility in the Czech Republic is compared to the evaluation of local specifications influencing this development - demands on the distribution system, engineering requirements in the form of partial demands of charging stations (port-folio, service, etc.). At the same time, barriers and support for this life trend are indicated, including the assessment of the pros and cons concerning electric cars in the Czech Republic and in the South Bohemian Region using SWOT analysis and Porter's model. At the end of the paper to support my hypothesis there are used the results of a questionnaire survey among business and non-business residents of the South Bohemian region.
Přínos elektricky poháněných osobních automobilů pro snížení emisí oxidu uhličitého ve městech
VOTRUBA, Michaela Hana
Master's thesis deals with the issue of air pollution, to which automobile transport contri- butes extensively. Poor air quality has adverse effects on the health of every human being on Earth, so it is important to work constantly to reduce the emission footprint we leave behind. It is road transport that has a lot of room for improvement. The aim of thesis was to calculate the amount of CO2 produced by passenger cars on a selected section of the road in České Budějovice. And then calculate the amount of CO2, which would leave the same number of electric cars in the same driving section.
The course of development and the consequences of the Dieselgate affair - a search
LEDVINA, Jakub
I chose the Dieselgate case as the topic of my bachelor's work. I get this topic chosen with regard to the current situation in the automotive industry. I would like to explain to the readers how this case originated, how it took place, what was its consequence, what impact it had on the economic situation in the world and, last but not least, on the future and the direction of the automotive industry.
Rozbor faktorů omezujících rozvoj nízkoemisní mobility v ČR
BÍLÝ, Vojtěch
This bachelor thesis is focused on a negative influence which obstructs the low-emission mobility within the Czech Republic. In this thesis, various circumstances limiting the low-emission mobility are described. The electricity production is meant to be the crucial point here. Next, rather extensive part of the thesis deals with the legislation, and low-emission mobility support from the state. Then, the electromobile purchase cost is discussed. Thereafter, the electromobile range and its tests in winter are addressed. Also, a customer´s point of view is being referred to as well. In this thesis, the infrastructure of our country, electric recharging points construction, their types, and also plug-in types are described. As for the low-emission mobility, the ecology is of great importance. Related to this, the problems of carbon dioxide emissions as a part of electromobiles production, batteries production and recycling, and problems connected with electromobiles production, are discussed here. Safety standards are crucial here - an electromobile is quiet and it represents a higher risk of accident. Finally, the topic of hydrogen, as a source of a low-emission fuel, is also discussed. This thesis is based on a study of appropriate technical literature, specialized technical websites and non-fiction ones as well, and also it is based on hands-on experience with the electromobile of Škoda Citigoe iV.
Faktory ovlivňující jízdní dosah elektromobilu
KAŠPAR, Roman
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic Factors influencing the driving range of electric cars. The work will be divided into two parts, the first part will deal with the history of electric cars and the basic ideas of electromobility. Furthermore, to gain practical experience with driving a vehicle and to determine the negative as well as positive factors affecting the driving range of the electric car. The beginning of the work is devoted to the history of electric cars and the basic ideas of electromobility. The next part of the work deals with the issue of electric vehicle drive, battery design and charging. At the end of the work, the factors affecting the driving range and the results of the practical driving test are discussed.
Návrh opatření podporujících rozvoj nízkoemisní pozemní mobility v ČR
KUTTA, Tomáš
I elaborated a diploma thesis on the topic "Proposal of measures supporting the development of low-emission land mobility in the Czech Republic". The main goal was to determine the factors against the development of low-emission land mobility using a web-based questionnaire. Furthermore, based on the identified factors, propose measures to support the development and interest of citizens in low-emission mobility. A total of eight factors were identified as the main ones: vehicle charging time, insufficient charging infrastructure, purchase price, low driving range, battery life, lack of electricity, production ecology and risk of battery ignition.
Smart Grid - pokročilé řízení energetických sítí
MAREŠ, Jan
The subject of this master thesis is the characterization of an intelligent networks so-called Smart Grids in the energy industry and the realization of testing scenarios in a power grid simulator. The theoretical part maps the main specifications, communication principles, and architecture of Smart grid. The practical part describes the simulation of the power grid of small suburban area and the effect of electric vehicles and renewable resources on the grid. The results of the thesis are network status assessment and design of steps required for a successful wide deployment of electric vehicles and renewable energy resources.
