Greenhouse gasses emission load within animal production
LAŠTŮVKOVÁ, Jana
This thesis deals with a quantity of CO2 emissions produced during breeding of pigs. Two systems of farming (conventional and organic) were compared between each other. With help of questionnaire survey the data were obtained ? they were needed for a calculation of CO2 emissions in software program SIMA PRO which calculates emissions produced in agricultural phase: the breeding of animal from its birth to the end of fattening and converts them into CO2 equivalent. The aim of this work was to find out, which system of farming produces more CO2 emissions.
Greenhouse gasses emission load during vegetable growing
KRATOCHVÍLOVÁ, Pavla
This thesis is focused on a survey whether the production of greenhouse gases by cultivation of vegetable, concretely garlic, is higher in a conventional way of cultivation or in an organic way of cultivation of garlic (from view of the environment). The study is composed on the base of all system processes which are used during cultivation of garlic. It was clear from collection of input data (which were obtained by questionnaire or telephone survey) that main processes for calculation would be mainly agricultural processes. An emission load of CO2 equivalent to a kilogram of individual product was calculated from obtained data and information from a database Ecoinvent. The purpose of this work is making information about possibility of choice of food and its influence on the environment available to people. It should help them to choose which food they want to eat. The conclusion of this thesis is the result which shows that organic cultivation of garlic is more sparing to the environment because it produces less emission than conventional agriculture.
Environmental aspects of eggs production from point of view of greenhouse gasses emissions
KALKUŠ, Václav
The aim of the study is to compare poultry farming focused on either conventional or organic egg production. Detailed information has been gathered in particular organizations by the means of questionnaires and provided technical literature. We have concentrated on the monitoring of the emission impact on the environment, caused especially by feed material consumption, electricity consumption and farm dung management. Based on the gathered data the emission burden was calculated by the means of Ecoinvent database using CO2 equivalent. We have compared the individual systems of management and evaluated greenhouse gasses production. The main target of the thesis was to find out whether the production of organic eggs has smaller impact on the environment than the conventional one.
Measurement and evaluation of emissions of gases in the selected operation pheasant and design to reduce them using nanotechnology.
ŠPETA, Ondřej
,,Measurement and evaluation of the production of gas emissions in a selected operation breeding pheasants and their proposal for reduction in the use of nanotechnology " This thesis deals with the production of greenhouse gas emissions in the breeding of pheasants. Greenhouse gases are monitored for fear of global warming of the planet Earth, as they prevent the natural greenhouse effect. Agriculture in its factory farming of livestock is one of the largest emitters, such as: ammonia, carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen.
Measurement and evaluation of emission gas production in the selected operation with castle and design to reduce them.
KOLÁŘ, Kamil
This thesis deals with the pollution of the environment (atmosphere, hydrosphere and pedosphere) greenhouse gases and ammonia from agricultural livestock. Globally, agriculture is considered absolutely largest producer of ammonia. The work deals with good agricultural practice, the stable microclimate and overall welfare. Custom work is focused on measuring and determining the concentration of gaseous emissions of carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, ammonia and water vapor. The measurement was carried out in the barn with a meat breed Charolais farm SEVAL in Valdov. For the measurement of exhaust gas was used device company INNOVA. Further, there are proposals include funds for reducing gas emissions.
Monitoring and research activities at the atmospheric station Křešín u Pacova
Dvorská, Alice ; Váňa, M. ; Pavelka, Marian ; Hanuš, Vlastimil
The atmospheric station Křešín u Pacova will serve as a national monitoring point of measurements of greenhouse gases and selected atmospheric pollutants, their long-range transport and also basic meteorological characteristics. The presentation describes the measurement list intended for the station and possibilities of scienfic interpretation of the data.
Measurement and evaluation of emission gas production operations in selected pig breeding.
PÍSAŘÍK, Martin
Emissions of greenhouse gases and ammonia arising mainly from pigs have a major impact on the environment in which we live. Agriculture positively affects the environment around us, not as previously seen only as a landscape appearance. Today we follow the above effect of organic residues and emissions of gases from the production of intensive livestock negatively acting components of the environment, which is the hydrosphere, and atmosphere pedosphere. Agriculture produces 90% of global production of ammonia. On the European scale of production must be restricted gas emissions to a minimum. This range using the best available techniques (BAT), which help to reduce ammonia and greenhouse gases in the stable environment, landfill sites and in the application of farmyard manure and slurry.
Measurement and evaluation of emission gas production in the selected operation with poultry breeding
PRAŽMA, František
This thesis deals with the environmental pollution of broiler breeding.Primary agricultural production significantly affects the environment. In particular, intensit livestock and thein intermediates, which are mainly organic residues and gaseous emissions of the adverse effect on the environment as a whole. Agriculture produces 90 % ofglobal ammonia. In this work showed these emission factors of gases: amonia 7.437 mg.kg-1.h-1, methane 82.636 mg.kg-1.h-1, nitrou oxide 0.409 mg.kg-1.h-1, hydrogen sulfide 4379, 01 mg.kg-1.h-1, carbondioxide 6579.14 mg.kg-1.h-1and steam 16 336 mg.kg-1.h-1.
Measurement and evaluation of emission gas production in selected cattle operation.
KAŠÍK, Ladislav
Measurement and evaluation of emission gas production in the selected operation with cattle''. This thesis deals with environmental pollution, especially livestock production in agriculture. The work is based on the determination of emission gases NH3, CO2, NH4, and NO2 and water vapor in the barn with redholsteen cattle breeds in ZD Krásná Hora nad Vltavou a.s. This work also deals with ammonia in agriculture, greenhouse gases and methods, which determine their concentrations. Average concentrations of the gases were as follows: CO2 = 1 188, 73 mg. m-3, water vapor = 8 181.29 mg.m - 3, N2O = 0.535 mg.m-3, NH3 = 1.14 mg.m -3; CH4 = 4.81 mg.m-3. The total average amount of all measured concentrations is 9376, 45 mg.m-3.
Trading with permits CO2
VROBEL, Radim
In this diploma thesis about the trading of permits CO2 to focus on the issue of release of carbon dioxide in a European context and its control through a system of tradable CO2 - EU ETS. I focus on the first two trading period of the EU ETS, in terms of allocated permits, price trends, and number of permits traded in the two periods in selected EU countries and the Czech Republic. The aim is to determine how appears a system of tradable CO2 permits in selected EU countries and the Czech Republic in the context of fulfillment obligations to reduce CO2 emissions under the Kyoto Protocol. The work compare the situation in the Czech Republic with selected EU countries in selected indicators of specific emissions trading and CO2. The work seeks to determine to what extent the ETS helps in improving the situation of individual countries in absolute production of CO2. The first chapter introduces the issue of climate change. It explains what are greenhouse gases, greenhouse effect and how this effect works. It acquaints readers with one greenhouse gas and that is carbon dioxide. Then the work explains how climate change takes place and there is also described climate history of the Earth, which is necessary to closer understanding of the issue. Then follows the description of international organizations, which deal with climate protection and have international influence. The second chapter focuses on ways to solution climate change. The bigger attention is devoted to the trading with carbon dioxide, than the work explaines the functioning of the European ETS, its development and global influence on the production and reduction of CO2. Than is the chapter devoted to notes and obligations that are promised in the Kyoto Protocol and closer specified the position of the Czech Republic in this Convention. In the third chapter compares the work selected countries of the European Union, which are the largest issuers of the Union's carbon dioxide. If it is possible to compare states in terms of their commitments and reduce CO2 implementation of these commitments. It appears that a large part of the EU Member States fulfill their obligations only partially, and some states it does not meet at all. For some selected countries we can see even an absolute increase in these emissions. Production of CO2 emissions is expressed in the comparison of selected countries in various indicators such as a production of CO2 per GDP or per inhabitant or per hectare of forest. It seems that not all states have aligned their emissions, which are important for sustainable development in that states. The last part compares selected countries in terms of allocated permits in the first and second ETS trading period and describes the evolution of both periods. Finally we performed a detailed analysis of price trends of permits especially in the first ETS period.
