Article treats of motif personification the city of Olomouc as antique hero Heracles dressed in lion`s skin. Accented is notable application of this theme in painting decoration ceiling of pastorate in Slavonín. Hier is this motif, which is typically in baroque iconography of the Olomouc, used in conection with Prussian siege in 1758.
