Function and use ecoduct in Czech Republic
Rösner, Radek ; Šmíd, Petr (advisor) ; Vykouk, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis is the utilization of measures to mitigate the consequences of human intervention in nature. In a review of the thesis I explain the theory of landscape corridors, migration corridor fragmentation and ecoducts themselves. The bachelor thesis deals with the issue at length ecoducts, their function and use in the Czech Republic. Usage analysis was used for statistical and technical data ecoducts that have already been built and which were built according to recent studies and concepts. In ecoducts chapter I pointed out the erroneous initial implementation and construction planning of ecoducts, but also the vision of anticipated and planned realizations of ecoducts construction.
CAUSES ANALYSIS AND COLLISION PREVENTION OF WILD LIFE WITH MOTOR VEHICLES IN TEPLICE DISTRICT
Zajíček, Lukáš ; Vach, Marek (advisor) ; Najnarová, Eva (referee)
My bachelor is thesis deals with the analysis of causes and preventiv of collisions of motor vehicles with a wild game in district Teplice. The primary aim is analyse and evaluace statistical data of collision of motor vehicles with a wild game in period since 2010 till 2014. For the analysis were used statistical data of the Police of the Czech Republic during the reporting period since 2010 till 2014. These data were analysed and then was determined the total number of collisions of motor vehicles with a wild game and specific types of knocked down wild game and the total material damage the created during these situations. In my thesis is evaluation of the most risk sections of rous in district Teplice and solutions of preventive measures, that would prevent or decrease collisions of motor vehicles with a wild game.
Evaluation of conflicts of motor vehicles with the game on the road in hunting area Kostelní Bříza
Scherbaum, Robin ; Hanzal, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kušta, Tomáš (referee)
To cope with elaboration of this thesis was first necessary to write a literature review dealing with an issues of landscape fragmentation caused by the construction of roads and the subsequent impact of transport on the population of animals, traffic intensity and an overview of accidents caused by animals, the behavior of animals in contact with a road surface, an overview of traffic accidents, categorization of territory in terms of migration and measures for reducing the barrier effect and mortality. After writing a literature review the field survey focused on the characteristics of the safety features on the roads documentation was carried out and an evaluation of the development of motor vehicles conflicts with animals in an area of interest, followed by the definition of the most dangerous locations in the area was carried out on the basis of statistical reports of accidents to police. Based on the results preventive measures that would prevent or at least partially eliminated a collision of vehicles with animals were proposed.
Issue of Deer ked from the Perspective of Monitoring
Bjelková, Karolína ; Horák, Jakub (advisor) ; Holuša, Jaroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis concerned issue of deer ked from the perspective of monitoring to wild game on the skin pulled from hunted animals and human specimens showing two locations for themselves binding - Mala Morava and Libava. Deer ked is hematophagous ectoparasite of cervids, which in recent years expanded its area of occurrence from Europe to America. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence and intensity of infection and to evaluate the influence of the nature habitant, weather factors or determination of sex by the host. For identification were examined 95 animals in body area, on the nape and genitals. The overall intensity of the attack were analysed in relation to age, gender, weather and landscape characteristics of point of capture. Results of occurrence of deer ked are described and evaluated demostrate the prevalence of infection almost 100%, but the rate pressure of animals ranged from 0 to 10 deer ked 100 cm-2. The highest occurence was found in males, and simultaneously was also associated wit a host of areas on the body where the most parasites were found on the genitals, 7-10 pieces. The significant influence had the temperature. The influence of rainfall was insignificant. It was found that the highest occurrence is on the animals, which use habitant fields and meadows, probably due to positive effects of solar radiation and thereby raise the surface temperature of the skin. Localization of body aeas can be used to setting means for effectiveness insecticide against these parasites.
Issue of deer ked from the perspective of efficiency of repellents
Hallová, Elen ; Horák, Jakub (advisor) ; Lukášová, Karolína (referee)
This bachelor thesis summarises information about hematophagous Deer ked (Lipoptena cervi), which attacks animals living in the wild and also humans. This topic is interesting particularly because of the global threat to human by haematophagous insects while continuous expansion of its distributional range. There is described external morphology and sexual dimorphism using electron microscopy. Due to an increased cases of incidences of Lipoptena cervi on humans there is description of production of a natural insect repellent and test of its effectiveness at selected sites outdoors with the help of test methods on human volunteers. Briefly, the thesis analysed the possibility of transmission of infectious diseases Lipoptena cervi. Biorepelent repeled Lipoptena cervi 100% even though it is a hematophagous, Lipoptena cervi has not yet been established as a carrier of pathogens, infections and other diseases on humans.

Růst dřevin a jejich okus zvěří při různých způsobech přípravy plochy a různém ošetření proti buřeni v lokalitě Les Království
Provazníková, Pavla
The aim of this bachelor work was to evaluate the influence of various surface preparation and the effect of various ways of treating forest plantation against forest weeds on the subsequent growth and browsing by wild game. The work was implemented at Lesy ČR s.p. (Forests of the Czech Republic), in the forest range Království. Two experimental plots were marked off in selected localities. In one plot there were crushed wood chips left on the ground, in the other there were branches thrown into piles. The browsing of trees took place at 9 experimental plots and 2 transects. The smallest overall height in 2014 was evident on young plants on the plot with wood chips -- 53.8 cm. The highest growth for the year 2014 was detected on the areas with individual trimming -- 7.8 cm. The most damage by game was monitored on the plot with an area--wide herbicide application, where a total of 31 % young plants were damaged, the least damaged seemed to be the wood chipped area with a total damage of 7%. The browsing of trees in the spruce only transect resulted in 5.4 %. The spruce--beech transect was damaged by 28.6 %, with the common beech being damaged by browsing on 78 % of specimens, browsing damage was not detected on Norway spruce.
Vliv buřeně a zvěře na odrůstání kultur douglasky tisolisté
Urban, Martin
The aim of this thesis was to discover the influence of weed and animals on growth of douglas fir cultures at the management-plan area Jindřichův Hradec. Two research areas with weed (Rubus idaeus (L.) and Calamagrostis epigejos (L.) Roth) were founded in 2011 at SLT 4K and 5S. Growth reactions of douglas fir were monitored on these areas, being it areas with weed left without any intervention during the whole vegetation period or areas with regular full-area weed cutting. The following criteria were evaluated: shoot height, root crown thinkness, growth, height of forked tree sprout, crown height, trunk undulation, branching regularity, number of branches, needle length and trunk shape, soil moisture, chemical composition of the assimilation apparatus and the impact of sunshine. Altogether 512 pieces of douglas fir plants were measured. The results show that douglas fir demonstrated higher height growths every year in areas without cutting than in areas with full-scale cutting, Root crown thickness at SLT 4K was also bigger in the areas with weed. On the contrary, cutting proved to have positive effect at SLT 5S and the root crown thickness was slightly higher here. Two areas, where the influence of animals was simulated, were chosen to find out what the impact of animals on douflas fir cultures growth is. 90 plants were measured in each area and terminal bud damage, terminal shoot damage and side branches damage were compared. A control group of 10 plants, that was left without any intervention, was chosen for comparison. Subsequently their regeneration was evaluated. From the results from measured values follows that douglas plants react to damage by animals with higher height growths which balance the growth length of not-damaged plants. Damage did not even significantly influenced the trunk shape, when all types of damages managed to maintain continuous trunk for minimum of 90 percent of plants in both stands.
Netradiční krmiva pro zvěř a jejich využití v myslivecké praxi
Vrbas, Ludvík
The work deals with the determination of non-traditional crops using a questionnaire that was sent out to users of hunting grounds throughout the Czech Republic, their description, method of cultivation, editing and presentation of animals. There were evaluated and described different methods, conditions and requirements for growing these crops, post-harvest treatment methods, harvesting and ways in which they can be offered to game animals. There were evaluated grant titles which can be used for obtaining grant funds to grow non-traditional crops. Conditions of individual titles were evaluated and subsequently were suggested modifications to suit the game management. The progress of grant programmes in every single year, the number of applicants and the amount of paid out grant were evaluated.
