The Impact of the Hemp on People

This thesis deals with the hemp, its dividing as for marijuana and hashish processing. Botanic aspect, which means the technical hemp, was also considered, even though this is not the main content of my thesis. This thesis also deals with structure of the hemp, its history and medical view. I would like to point to the fact where is this plant able to help (to which ilnesses).Further, pathological effects are considered, so as if marijuana is {--} straight after alcohol and cigarettes {--} the most sought drug, not only with today's young people. The next tasks are to find out if marijuana is really a starting drug, its comparison with alcohol, and addiction. And last but not least the legality of this plant in the Czech Republic and other countries. This thesis certainly is not written for the purpose of drug addiction spread, but for general awareness of this extraordinary plant.

Occurence of the Dependence on Mobile Telephone by the Children and the Youth at Elementary Schools

This bachelor{\crq}s thesis aims to point out the possible risk of mobile phone addiction by children and the youth at primary schools. In the theoretical part a few basic terms are explained, e.g. habit, addiction or prevention. At the same time, I include a chapter about pathological phenomena in the society and afterwards I turn my attention specifically to the mobile phone, to which a substantial part of this thesis is devoted. On the one hand I inform about the past and present of the mobile phones and on the other hand I demonstrate the continually increasing number of customers of mobile operators in the Czech Republic. An anonymous questionnaire forms the content of the research part. The questionnaire was circulated among pupils of fourth, sixth and ninth class at three primary schools. Two of these primary schools are located in Písek and one in České Budějovice. According to my opinion, and irrespective of the fact that the communication of the respondents does not focus solely on mobile phones, it is possible to conclude from the resulting data that this generation, and the future one most of all, will not be able to live without mobile phones. Without them, as it is often said, people will not be able to make one single step. That is why in future the term mobile phone addiction could be used more than frequently.

Problems of Cigaret Smoking at the Primary Schools 6th - 9th Grade

ABSTRACT Problems of cigaret smoking at the primary schools 6th {--} 9th grade Key terms: smoking, addiction, risk factors, prevention, peer programme Thesis treats about the cigaret smoking, especially by the children at the age from 12 to 15 years. It is divided into two parts. The theoretical part amasses the data about tabaccism. It deals with origin of the addiction to nicetine. The author devotes the risk factors {--} affecting negativly the child {--} that can be subsequently the reason of the origin of his addiction. Thesis continouses by describing the prevention of the socio-pathological phenomenons as the first possible kind of the defence of the society against the cigaret smoking and drug abuse. So calles peer {--} programme /in fact the impact of the older pupils on the younger ones/ seems to be one of the most powerful preventive programmes at the school. The practical part summarizes the results of the questionnaire filled in by the pupils of the 6th and 9 th grade. It engages in their attitude toward the smoking of tobacco products.

Influence of parent´s alcoholism on the future life of their child

When the person has become addicted to the alcohol, in the matter of time, there is a negative influence on the upbringing of children as well as on the partnership connected with the destruction of the alcoholic´s personality. The goal of this thesis is therefore to analyse issues of children in drinkers familes. The main tool used was the qualitative research. The research has been applied on the group of 20 respondents, out of this 10 were children of alcoholic parents, who have become alcoholics themselves and the second part of the group were childern of alcoholic parents, who have not been drinking themselves. Questions were directed mainly to the construction of family anamnesis and later to find out characteristic features and relation to the alcohol. The results were following: Individuals who grew up in the alcoholic family have low self-esteem, although high level of inteligence they don´t reach corresponding school results, they face difficulties in close relationships, cannot accept praise from others, are overcritical to themselves, helping, impulsive, social, reliable, loyal, insecure, honest and suspicious, often not satisfied with their own lives.

Playning computer games as a specific problem of adolescence

The aim of this dissertation is to analyse problem of computer gaming, the relationship of adolescents who play computer games and the role of computers in young peoples´ lives. The theoretical part of this dissertation is devoted to problem of computer gaming which is covered in the specialized literature. We can look into the positive and negative aspects of playing computer games. The practical part of this dissertation is focused on obtaining the information in spirit with the aim of the work. By suitable methods the research was conduct at the chosen primary schools and the data was collected and evaluated.

The life quality at family members of clients with drug addiction depending on their sex

The National Strategy for Antidrug Policy for the period 2005 to 2009 is a key document nowadays. Situation in the field of drugs remains stable. Cannabis products and ecstasy are illegal substances used in most cases. Two basic appliances {--} questionnaires and interviews {--} were used in the research of this bachelor thesis. The investigated complex comprised 37 parents and 22 siblings. The sample was determined with random selection. The aim of the research was to define the period of the worst stress at family members of clients with drug addiction. Just the discovery of a family member{\crq}s drug addiction was indicated the worst stress period. Changed appearance, telling lies and change of friends were described as the main indication leading to the conclusion of a family member{\crq}s addiction. Depending on the discovery of problems with drugs the family contentment is changing considerably. It turned out that men solve their family situations connected with drug addiction of a member in a completely passive way. That is why there is a very bad cooperation with curative institutions. The research shows that respondents-siblings were informed on their sibling{\crq}s addiction much earlier than their parents.

Artetherapie and load regime for drug addicted youth

This Bachelor thesis is focusing on the use of art-therapy with youngsters in the treatment and corrective facility Husův Domov in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. The theoretical part concerns generally the drug issue {--} historical development, types of abusing drugs. In the following chapters I focus on drug abuse concerning juvenile individuals. The clients scope in the facility where I work concerns juvenile males between fifteen and eighteen years of age. The major pillar of therapeutical treatment in this facility is heavy physical training . I am covering this topic together with the phases of correction in Husův domov. The practical part covers information about specific issues regarding art-therapy work in this type of facility. Least but last I am also focusing on the characteristics of the graphic approach the clients. I am also covering the methodics of creating artefacts in an alternative way during the everyday physical strain (riding bicycles, water rafting, long hikes, cross-country skiing etc.)

Reality and virtuality

This thesis is dealing with explanations of reality, virtuality, their various definitions, examples and possible points of view for their understanding. These terms are set into the context of present era that is so strongly influenced by virtuality and its technologies. There is also a chapter which is describing the problem of real and virtual identity. On two in detail explained examples of on-line shopping and teleworking are shown the contrasts of their positives and negatives. Part of this thesis is also considering the influence of virtuality on a human life including so called computer diseases. Support of this work represents the part about internet statistics -- time spent in virtuality, negative effects, their foreknowledge and prevention. Historical development of technics that brought us virtuality (Internet, mobile phones and TV) is also included. The text is based on opinions of reputable authors from the fields of sociology, philosophy and informatics. I interlaced the text with my own reflections and in conclusion there is a part about expected future development of the technics used for virtuality.
