Verification of Applicability of the CE-QUAL-W2 Model for Simulation of Phytoplankton, Epiphyton and Macrophyte Growth in Lipno Reservoir
ŠÁMALOVÁ, Klára
Verification of applicability of the CE-QUAL-W2 model for simulation of phytoplankton, epiphyton and macrophyte growth in Lipno Reservoir was tested. The model was first calibrated for the year 2004, then was applicated to the whole investigated period from 1.1. 2000 to 31.12. 2005. Sensitivity analysis was executed for mean growth parameters of phytoplankton, periphyton and macrophytes.
Utilization systematic measuring techniques in industries
ŘEZNÍČEK, Marek
The thesis deals with the problems of measurement in mechanical engineering. It covers the demands in the field, the implementation of selected measurements, machine calibration and factory output quality control in general. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the practical use of measurement techniques and measuring equipment used in mechanical engineering. Presented is the description of the selected measuring instruments and tools used in schools and in practice, eventually their use in the technical courses at universities and engineering schools.
Optimization and Calibration of Digital Image Correlation Method
Jandejsek, Ivan ; Valach, Jaroslav ; Vavřík, Daniel
An example of instrumentation and optimization of Digital Image Correlation measurement system for given class of experiments is described in this paper.
Directional sensitivity of the hot-wire probes - effect of the geometry and Re
Antoš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Uruba, Václav
Paper deals with the directional sensitivity of the hot-wire probe. A number of probes with different geometry were experimentally investigated at various Re numbers. Results of the directional function are discussed in detail.
Kalibrace clonkové tratě rotačním průtokoměrem a rezonance systému
Randa, Zdeněk ; Tesař, Václav ; Hrubý, Jan
Rotary piston flowmeters (RPF) are widely used for accurate measurement of gas flow rates. We used it to calibrate a Koennecke-type quadrant nozzle flowmeter. The evaluated discharge coefficient exhibited strange local maxima, even exceeding unity. The phenomenon was sensitive to the length of the tubes connecting the RPF with the calibrated quadrant nozzle. One possible explanation, discussed in the present paper, is the local maxima to be due to acoustic resonance in the system, excited by periodic character of the flow through the RPF. Another possibility is that the also the inertia of the pistons plays a role, the air providing the spring action.
Calibration of the flowmeter of the Venturi tube type
Jonáš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Uruba, Václav
Experimental set up and measuring technique are described whose were used for the calibration of the flowmeter ŠKODA AUTO in the range from 0,03 m3/s to 0,55 m3/s.
Calibration of the thermoanemometr probes for non-isothermal flow application
Antoš, Pavel
Non-isothermal flow application of thermal anemometry HW-CTA requires special calibrate procedure. Parameters of a calibration rig are presented in the paper.
Experimental investigation of the temperature sensitivity of the hot-wire/film probes and temperature correction
Antoš, Pavel
The paper deals with the fluid temperature effect on the hot-wire anemometer output signal. There is described a correction method which compensate for fluid temperature drift in a constant-temperature anemometer operation.
