Cash flow statement in Czech republic

The bachelor thesis deals with the cash flow statement in Czech republic. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part follows up the components of financial statements especially the cash flow statement. Next chapters observes the structure of the statement and methods of constructing the statement which are explained on simple illustrations. Practical part analysis the cash flow statements of chosen enterprises in Czech republic.
Financial statement in selected share company
SUMERAUEROVÁ, Petra
The aim of this thesis is the evaluation of the risk items of financial statements in the selected joint-stock company, their comparison with the real and genuine picture according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The first part is theoretical and it deals with the characteristics of the balancing of books, its types, financial statements, also the annual report, release of the balancing of books and the external audit. The source of information for me was proffesional literature. The second and practical part focuses on the selected company. I decided for the joint-stock construction company OHL ŽS, a.s. I gathered the information about the company from the annual report of the company, from the internet and also from personal meetings and dialogues. Next, I dealt with the activities connected with the balancing of books. I focused on the procedure of stocktaking, bringing closing operations to book and the course of the balancing of books. After that I concentrated on the individual statements of the balancing of books the balance, the profit and loss statement, the supplement to the balancing of books, overview of cash flow and summary of the changes of the owned capital. At the end I evaluated the risk items of the statements and their information capabilities. The accounting entity provided data for the accounting year 2012, that is the reason for the balancing of books by 31. 12. 2012.
Assessment of the financial situation of a particular enterprise

This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of financial health of companies, Sokolovská uhelná, právní nástupce, a.s., based on results of different methods of financial analysis. Company was compared with three competing companies in years 2005 and 2012. Data was taken from financial statements such as balance sheet, income statements and cash-flow. The first part focuses on the definition of financial analysis and the definition of the methods of financial analysis. The second part of this work is made to calculate the horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheets and income statements. Followed by a calculation of indicators of activity, liquidity, profitability and indebtedness. Finally, the company was assessed by calculating bankruptcy and credibility models. Based on the results, the financial health of the company was assessed.
Importance of account sheets for financial analysis and management of small and medium-sized business

The objest of submitted bachelor thesis is recognition of financial situation of the chosen company. In theoretical part it was essential to define account sheets, which are balance sheet, profit and loss account, addendum, cash flow statement and capital statement. Futhermore there is a definiton of company financial analysis, its proceeding methods and indicators. Practical part is devoted to financial analysis of the chosen company.
Cash flows presented by state organizational units in the Czech Republic

This thesis is focused on the public sector and deals with one of the new financial statements presented by state organizational units, the cash flow statement, which these state organizational units prepared for the first time for the financial year 2011. The main objective of the thesis is to analyze in detail the quality of these cash flow statements prepared by individual administrators of the state budget chapters and passed for the first time to the Central system of state accounting information. The thesis also presents an evaluation of the quality of the Czech legislative regulation of the cash flows statement in relation to state organizational units and it compares the legislative regulation in the period between 2011 and 2012. An integral part of the thesis is creating theoretical models suitable for the preparation of the cash flow statement. The first model is based on the relationship among particular items of the accounting and financial statements and the second model is based on the transformed data from the statement for evaluation of the state budget implementation.
Analysis of company's cash flow and liquidity

The aim of the thesis entitled "Analysis of liquidity and cash flow" is to analyze liquidity and cash flow of the company. The theories then apply in terms of the selected company. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical knowledge about cash flow, liquidity and bankruptcy and credibility models. It describes what is cash flow and its division. Furthermore, the preparation methods of the statement of cash flows and what is the difference between cash flow and profit. The following is a division of liquidity in the current ratio, quick asset ratio and cash position ratio. This thesis also deals with the definition of the concept of net working capital. At the end of the theoretical part describes selected bankruptcy and credibility models with calculation procedures. The second part deals with the analysis of liquidity, cash flow and bankruptcy and credibility models. For this purpose were used statements of the selected company VESAS, s.r.o. (balance sheet and statement of profit and loss). On the basis of these statements was prepared the statement of cash flows which was supplemented by additional indicators containing cash flow. Furthermore, all three types of liquidity were calculated and subsequently concluded that if the company has problems with the payment obligations. Based on bankruptcy and credibility models was rated financial health of the company.
Tax and accounting aspects of the final accounts in the selected entity

The aim of this work is to describe the comprehensive procedure of drawing up the final accounts in relation to the internal regulations of the selected company. The theoretical part deals with the general characteristic of the final accounts including their compiling principles. The practical part analyzes the preparatory works and the closure of the accounting period. This part of work deals with the compiling the final accounts, too. The aim of the analytical part is to assess the accounting and tax aspects in relation to the compiling the final accounts in the selected company.
Comparison of Financial Statements according to Czech accounting standards and IAS/IFRS.

The thesis is based on the following of my bachelor thesis, which deals with ,, Accounting shutter in the selection accounting entity.? Now the theme will be extended by the comparison process accounts in the selected entity according to Czech accounting legislation (CAL) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). In the practical part of the application will again be chosen by an entity of international trucking company KAFKA TRANSPORT, a. s. The main aim of my thesis is based on theoretical knowledge, to assess the selected items of balance sheet and profit and loss for the selected companies their reporting in the case of CAL and IFRS. International Accounting Standards that are world-renowned accounting system, which also binds to an entity operating in the Czech Republic.
Final accounts in a stock corporation

In my graduation thesis named "Final accounts in a stock corporation" I consider financial accounts process and making annual report that every business entity does periodically every year on the end of accounting period. In common sense accounting is very important tool of communicating financial information about business performance to managers, shareholders and other external users. The communication is generally included in financial form statements. Because users have different needs, the presentation of financial accounts is very structured and is under many more legal rules. The aim of this work is confrontation of actual Czech legal rules as theoretical premise with real state of accountancy in specific join-stock company. I focus on audit too. Auditor{\crq}s procedure and process of verification of final accounts is also very important part of this work. To have highest standard of financial reporting is a nowadays reality and I inspect if process of auditing is in good condition and in accord with audit rules. The basic question in this part of the work is aimed at auditor understanding to our company, identifying the key accounting control and minimization of potential risk.
