Road haulier fleet renewal

This Master Thesis is focused on the fleet of road haulier and its renewal process. The aim of this thesis is to find the optimal vehicle for fleet with respect to specified criteria. The theoretical part is focused on vehicles in general, the relevant legislative frameworks and technologies used in road freight transport. Furthermore it presents the most important producers of road freight vehicles and the methods of multi-criterial analysis. The practical part focuses on the process of fleet renewal in the Kouba Trans, s.r.o company and particularly on the implementation of author's own analysis leading to the selection of optimal vehicle for this company. The most optimal vehicle is truck Scania R 450 Highline.

This thesis deals with the processing dokumentation selected timbered house and design restoration at its construction and technical research. First, the work processed information about the building's history and its condition. Following the focus of the object and the status of wooden construction and individual elements. The work also includes the creation of drawings of the current state and the suitable proposal recovery.

Návrh obnovy roubené stavby

The thesis discusses the proposed renewal timbered buildings located in the village Huslenky in Beskydy. The work contains all the currently available information on the previous use of the building's construction and historical development. It was created basic design documentation and construction was carried out technical survey (hereafter STP) to determine all possible structural failure or attack decaying insects and fungi. The results are shown using STP sketches, tables and possibly supplemented with photographs. Subsequently procedures are specified redevelopment of the building. The work also contains proposals variant recovery log houses. Option Cabins use as a family chat for occasional recreation is elaborated in detail, according to the wishes of the owners.

This diploma work focuses on the water mill with so called artistic composition in the village Radoškov, district Velké Meziříčí. The documentation of the current state of technological equipment and the plotting to drawings are performed. It is photographed and missing equipment is added to the drawings according to researched information of the composition of the mill just before its closing down in 1952. The draft for renovation of the building is made according to owners' wishes, whose plan is either to place a new water wheel or a turbine to produce electricity and partial commissioning for agronomical uses.

Sub-objectives are to map the current state of scattered vegetation in the area, its subsequent comparison with historical and preparation of the final draft recovery of scattered vegetation in the study area.

Theme of bachelor thesis is Restoration of historic garden. Monastery garden in Broumov was chosen as a model object. I have explored the historical context of the town, the monastery, the Benedictine order, garden, and last but not least the historical development of monastery range of plants. That helped us to understand which plants were usually used in the monastery gardens, and which would be appropriate to use in the herb-vegetable garden. According to natural, functional, operational and compositional analyzes there were considered suitable options to restore the character of the historic monastery garden, to increase its attractiveness, attendance and return of it's Genius Loci. Proposed garden design is based on the studied documents and on the analysis results.

Výhodnocení úspěšnosti obnovy lesa na požářišti Bzenec

The aim of this thesis was to evaluate successfulness of forestation at a seat of fire near Bzenec. Several types of planting stock varying in the type of species, plant cover, the way of growing and coverage by surrounding growths after planting were used. Two independent measurings were taken, during which shoot height, root crown thickness, growt length, losses, vitality, diversion from vertical, trunk straightness, damage by biotic agents (mainly by forest cockchafer), the weight of dry matter and root deformations were investigated. The paper strip method executed by a rotary cultivator proved to be little effective, because cockchafer grubs were not affected in any way when the soil was prepared this way. Big losses were found out already during spring evaluation. These losses doubled, even tripled, during a vegetation period. The losses were caused mainly by cockchafer grubs. It is possible to recommend suitable forestation of weeded areas by containerized planting stock of pine and bare-rooted broad-leaved trees as a possible solution.
