The theoretical part includes a brief outline of integration history in the CR and definitions of basic terms. It also deals with the issue of school integration, including the factors affecting its success rate. The practical part is aimed at finding the causes of unsuccessful integration in two particular cases of pupils with Asperger syndrome diagnosis, which is characterized by lower adaptability to social environment sometimes even leading to acts of aggressiveness. These subsequently lead to exclusion of the pupils from the class where teaching continues in individual form. These pupils were selected upon information from the Education, Youth and Sport Department of the Regional Office of the South Bohemia Region and from the Special Pedagogy Centre in České Budějovice. With regard to the target group size, particularity of the issue and the effort to gain as much colourful picture as possible qualitative research, namely design of case studies, was applied to reach the goal. Data collection was performed by means of content analysis of documents and semi structured interviews with the parties involved of the integration process ? the pupils being integrated and their parents, headmasters, teachers, assistant teachers and classmates. The research lead to the finding that unwillingness of one of the involved parties, i.e. a headmaster or the parents of the child being integrated to cooperate was the main cause of unsuccessful integration process in both the cases.

Unemployment as a psychosocial problem for persons with a reduced working ability
HRKALOVÁ, Kristýna
At present, the concept of the reduced working ability has not been already used due to a change of the Employment Act No. 435/2004 Coll. A new concept is being introduced ? a person with disabilities, which include persons receiving a disability pension and persons who are handicapped. This thesis is devoted to the concept of the unemployment, its definition and kinds. The other chapter defines a target group of people presented in the title of the thesis. The following part speaks about possibilities to use the protected labour market, but as well as offers of various organizations in the common labour market. Everything is related to people who have some medical problem and it is more difficult for them to seek a suitable job. It is important to note, that the unemployment is associated with various problems. They are both psychic and social. Therefore there is a part about the importance of the work for a man included in the thesis, followed by chapters on possible responses to a job loss and health risks associated with this life event. An aim of the practical part is a comparison of an impact of the psychosocial effects of the unemployment at intact individuals with individuals with disabilities. A method of a qualitative research was used to achieve this goal, a form of a depth semi-structured interview. A crucial age for a choice of respondents was between 20 - 45 years and their registration at Labour Office for at least six months. The research showed that the observed people in my group did not differ significantly in the psychosocial effect of the unemployment. It is because their psyche has been influenced by a good family background, friends and an adequately spent leisure time.
Social identity of a family with a child with a disability
TOMÁŠKOVÁ, Romana
Family plays an important role in the life of a human. The family is even more important if this human is a child with a disability. Birth of a child with a disability results in changes of lifestyle of the family for it must be adapted to the child?s possibilities and needs. In my thesis I wanted to approach both the complicated process of coping and dealing with the birth of a child with a disability and the process of finding of a new identity, which is my main objective. The theoretical part of the thesis explains concepts of words ? a child, a person with a disability, identity and a family. The work divides basic types of disabilities, describes typologies and functions of a family. Not only complicated and complex process of dealing with the birth of a disabled child is described here but also changes of parental attitudes and basic psychical needs depending up the child?s disability. The work also focuses on the relationship of a child to his/her own disability, on the process of socialization and last but not least on Early Care. The research was carried out by the method of quantitative research and by the technique of a semi-controlled interview. Interviews with parents of children with disabilities of different levels and types were carried out. The research provided information about considerable difficulties in lives of families with disabled children. Results of the thesis may serve to both easier coping with the birth of a child with a disability and also can help families with disabled children work well. The results may also become the basis for further studies and research in this field.
Lifestyle of persons with disability of motor funtions - personal statements.
STRNADOVÁ, Monika
Any disability can bring disadvantages in many aspects of human lives. This often affects physical, mental and social areas of life. It depends on many circumstances and factors to what extent and at what intensity disability influences the way of life. The research part of my diploma thesis confirms this fact. Not only the type of disability and its prognosis, the personality and his/her ability to handle difficult situations in life, but also the quality of social relationships and the strength of the social safety net are important factors. Irreplaceable role in caring for people with a disability has comprehensive rehabilitation, which helps not only to improve the health condition, to restore job skills and self-sufficiency, but mainly supports a successful return to the home environment as well as to the regular everyday life. The aim of my thesis was to learn about individual life stories of people struggling with a disability of physical functions, whether due to an illness, injury or another disability, resulting in movement disorders, and to find out how the disability affects their lives. I tried to analyze specific aspects of life and social consequences of disability (coping with disabilities, value orientation, interpersonal relationships, future plans, self-realization). The base of my work is the holistic, i.e. bio-psycho-socio-spiritual approach, I respect the individuality of each individual, his/her attitude to life with a handicap (disability).
The integration of disabled students into the secondary education
SVAČINOVÁ, Jana
Over the years there has been a lot of discussion about the integration of the disabled students, and the opinions differ no matter if it is made by a professional or non-professional. At best each student should be integrated into the local school according to his or her permanent address. However, not every school is open to this phenomenon. The integration process has its limits and its success is dependent not only on possibilities of the integrated person but also on a lot of factors, inter alia on the conditions of the school as well. The Bachelor´s thesis deals with the integration of the disabled students into the secondary education and consists of two parts. The theoretical part defines the basic terms which are related to the problem of the integration, legislative measures as well as a historical view. Then it includes factors conditioning the successful integration. The objective of the practical part was to find out how many secondary schools in České Budějovice are prepared for the integration of the disabled students, it means what conditions there are in these schools, for example barrier-free access, supportive measures, and so on. The study used a qualitative research which was done only in the grammar schools, secondary vocational schools and conservatoire. I addressed the management of 22 secondary schools, out of which 7 schools refused to take part in the research. Thus, the research sample consists of 15 school representatives (respondents). I was given the information from the school headmasters, deputy head teachers or careers advisors. The answers of the respondents resulted in the fact that currently only three secondary schools are ready to integrate the disabled students.
