Energetic usage of grasses
BERNAS, Jaroslav
Renewable sources of the energy are still more important topic. And the reason is that the biomass is already one of the future energy sources for the Czech Republic. Percentage of the biomass for the purposes of the energy should be increase after some time. This progressive using of the biomass will be accompanied by the searching of the new procedures for the acquisition processing and utilization. The aim of my bachelor thesis was the valorization of the usefulness of the concrete kinds of grass for the cultivation and for the purposes of the energy and focus on their productive power. The literature review is focused on the selected energy resources which are previously used in the ČR, including the fossil fuels and energy sources used optional, energy and water, wind and biomass. Furthermore, on the botanical characteristic of selected grass species (Phalaris arundinacea L., Arrhenatherum elatius L., Dactylis glomerata L.) and mainly on their agro-technical requirements. The field experiments were established for selected types of grass and on the basic of results acquired from the cultivation were drawed the conclusions which substantiate the agro-technical steps.
Energetic usage of grasses
PROKEŠOVÁ, Markéta
Bachelor thesis is focused on effectiveness of targeted cultivation of selected species of grasses for energy purposes (Dactylis glomerata, Arrhenatherum elatius, Phalaris arundinacea). Work compares yields and suitability of selected species of grass growing for energy recovery. Furthermore, for each species of grass evaluates the best date harvesting for energy use direct combustion and biogasification based on the percentage of dry matter and the annual yield of dry matter. Input data used derived from experimentally observed data in the research field plots of perennial plants. Part of the thesis is to summarize the literature about other types of energy crops (Miscanthus sinensis Anderss, Rumex patientia, Populus L.,Zea mays)and compare with them the suitability grasses for growing to energy recovery on the basis of selected production capacity and energy parameters (dry matter yield, energy recovery, heat of combustion).
Assessment of energy crop cultivation in terms of erosion
POLÁKOVÁ, Monika
The aim of thesis is to assess and evaluate how energy crops affect erosion phenomena, then identify a suitable alternative crop that has anti-erosion ability. Location is evaluated in detail Trebon, as cultivation areas suitable for Phytoenergetics and biogas. Furthermore, I studied agricultural biogas plant that uses biomass as input for biogas production. To evaluate and calculate erosion parameters for a given locality the method of universal soil loss equation by Wishmeier and Smith, and the value showed crops causing erosion. The calculated values are related to locations all over the South Region. Thanks to the universal equation it is possible to find alternative crops, which cause erosion and both are suitable for biogas production.
Biomass processing for direct combustion
MAREK, Jakub
The aim of this work was to create an overview of the possibilities for using biomass for energy purposes, and treatment technologies for direct combustion of biomass. Furthermore, it was assessing the energy intensity of production of wood briquettes and compared the amount of energy supplied to the process, the amount of energy gained by burning the fuel. As the data were used to assess the monthly energy consumption for the years 2009 and 2010. The average value of energy supplied to the manufacturing process is 91.9 kWh per tonne of briquettes produced in 2009 and 89.8 kWh/t in 2010. The amount of energy embedded in the production of briquettes, then 15 450.7 MJ per tonne of fuel. When compared with the calorific value of briquettes, then the result of the manufacturing process has an energy recovery fuel.
Energetical use of phytomass
BLAHO, Milan
The objective of the thesis is proposing types of crops suitable for the production of phytomass for power purposes in low favourite areas (LFA). The assignment was summarising the source data for a broader set of power crops obtained from multiple authors primarily from the Czech Republic, and assessing their suitability for growing in LFA in areas sorted by environment requirements (soil, pH, weather conditions, vegetation period, resistance to frost, resistance to pests and diseases,{\dots}) and by production capability and energy parameters (yield, height of plants, combustion heat, caloric value, humidity, ash content, {\dots}) Field tests with suitable power crops were established and economic models were generated based on the results of the cultivation to demonstrate the possibilities of utilisation in reality
Production capability and growing specialities of selected energy plants
DVOŘÁK, Adam
Agriculture started the new way, instead of the food crops is icreased growing of energy crops. Thesis {\clqq}Production potencial and specificity of energy plant growing`` deals with evaluation of suitability of selected energy crops in field trials and theire needs of soil, clima and agrotechnology. The growth ability, health were evaluated during vegetation period and production potencial in harvest time in choosed group of energy crops. The thesis content also the seed quality, field germination and initial growth evaluated in conditions of anthropogenic soils.
