The influence of temperature and light conditions on reproduction of aquarium fish Anoptichthys jordani
ŠABLATURA, Pavel
In this diploma work the influence of temperature of water and light conditions on reproduction of aquarium fish Anoptichthys jordani was investigated. Experiments were carried out in different light conditions and different temperatures of water. Fish were spawned by a method of pair and group spawning. In the end of the work optimum combination of temperature of water and light conditions on reproduction of the species is mentioned. The results of this work can be used in reproduction of investigated species.
Calvary
VAVERKOVÁ, Jana
The thesis deals with the subject of Christ s journey with the cross. Separate interruptions remind us of the last moment of Jesus suffering on earth. The work begins with the sentencing of Jesus to death and ends with his placing in the tomb. Everything is executed with the technique of slumping glass on plaster forms. The cycle contains fourteen glass reliefs including inscriptions of separate crosses. A possible fixture falls into the interior of a modern church or larger chapel, as well as into the exterior in the likeness of village chapels set up along the so-called The Hill of the Cross. The work is supplemented by a theoretical attachment with thematic description, inspirational sources and technological procedures.
The Synthesis of Eastern and Western Spiritualities and the Christian Aspect in the Teaching of O.M. Aivanhov
AVRAMOVA, Radka
This work discourses about the teaching of bulgarian {--} french philosopher, pedagogue and spiritual teacher Omraam Mikhaël Aivanhov. It is divided in several thematic chapters discoursing always a certain philosofical {--} spiritual theme from the point of view how is it treated in the teaching of Aivanhov. Among those themes are for example: Creation, Good and evil, About God, Jesus and Christ, Reincarnation, Soul, Ressurection, Holy Trinity. Aivanhov has fresh and undogmatic approach to these themes and he accents that his teaching can serve to a man for the practical work on him or herself. He does not stick to any particular tradition neither he arteficially syncretizes. He rather sees the various levels of the creation and its Creator as a reality which has universal laws and principles. And a mission of man is according to Aivanhov to discover those laws and principles and to live in harmony with them.
Arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis of herbaceous invasive neophytes in the Czech Republic
ŠTAJEROVÁ, Kateřina
I have studied arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis of 44 herbaceous invasive neophytes occuring in the Czech Republic. My results show that about 70% of the examined species are capable to form symbiotic association with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in the field. To my knowledge, mycorrhizal status of 23 invasive species is reported here for the first time. I predicted, based on the hypothesis of Urcelay & Díaz (2003), that the intensity of AMF in the roots of invasive species will be correlated with that of the native dominant species of invaded plant community, but collected data did not support this hypothesis. In addition, the effects of habitat and community characteristics on the intensity of AMF colonization of the invasive species{\crq} roots were tested. My results show that, at the within-species level, plants in the habitats with higher light and temperature conditions have less colonized roots whereas intensity of mycorrhizal colonization increases with habitat moisture. At the among-species level, invasive species occurring in the habitats with elevated nitrogen availability have higher mycorrhizal colonization of their roots. The effect of nitrogen availability is revealed at the among-species level and stays significant even after phylogenetic correction, suggesting this is an evolutionary adaptation rather than a phenotypic plasticity.
Ecological demands of the selected planktonic algae and cyanobacteria from the order Nostocales. Light intensity and temperature optima of the water-bloom dominant species in the ponds and reservoir in the Czech Republic.
KOHELOVÁ, Hana
This thesis is aimed on cyanobacterial water blooms. It deals with the composition of cyanobacterial water blooms, factors which cause its emergence, effect it has on environment, termination of cyanobacterial bloom and ways of how to restrict it. My thesis contains the chapter devoted to the cyanobacterial bloom characteristic, which gives them advantage over other organisms in plankton and over other cyanobacteria as well. It also contains general description of fishponds and reservoirs and locality description (fishpond Svět and Rod, water reservoir Římov, Jihočeský kraj), which were the sources of species tested in this experiment. The aim of the experiment was to find out the optimal temperatures and light for the growth of seven strains of cyanobacteria and one species of green alga. The experiment was conducted by cross-table gradient of temperature and light method (KVÍDEROVÁ a LUKAVSKÝ, 2001. Data of the strains growth in different combinations of temperature and light intensity was processed in program Statistika (ANONIMUS, 1996). Valence of each strain has its maximum and minimum values. In their mean, there is an optimum for the growth. Charts depicting maximal-minimal values and optimum of strains for temperature and light were created in Microsoft Excel. Details between temperature and light demand of strains were tested by PCA analysis in program CANOCO 4.5 and visualised by CANODRAW (TER BRAAK a ŠMILAUER, 1998). It resulted in particular values, which are comparable with similar laboratory tests.
Historical evolution view on the substance of the light
ANDERL, Jan
The principle of the seminar work is to create the skilled text which could be used such as educational material for other students to they can better understand to the evolution of opinions on the substance of the light. The work is composed from the five parts. Each part is enplaining the view of the scientists on the substance of the light from the certain period. The first part is connected to the era of the antiquity {--} the period of the first contentions about the substance of the light. The second part is intent on the era from the fifth century (Optical theory) to the nineteen century (Young theory ). The third part refers to the 20th century. The fourth part apply to the present, to the newest researches and work in the sphere of the light. The fifth part is created by the biographies of the most meaningful people who have been working on the question about the substance of the light.
