The Bachelor thesis based on the topic; "The development of agricultural land use in Podolí u Brna and Bedřichovice districts" is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the development of land use and land ownership during the period of capitalism, socialism and up till the present day. The second part of the thesis contains the characteristics of land registers, the structure of land resources, historical overview of the development of land ownership in selected cadastral areas till present time. The end of the second part is devoted to aggregate values in land use, protection of agricultural land and the improvement in land management.

The theoretical part describes the regulation of easements in the Civil Code and in specialized literature. The practical part shows the procedure of the creation of easements and their use in practice from the view of business entity.

The theme of this work is the historical evolution of the land, which led to changes in their arrangement in the selected area. The theoretical part describes the development of land tenure in the Czech countries in different stages, beginning with the period of feudalism, then capitalism, socialism until after 1989. The second part deals with the historical development of the town Polná and mapping and documenting the first state land tenure. At last, the practical part, is to analyze the development of changes to the property, which consists of comparing maps from different time periods. Another point of this part of the proposal, as it might seem optimal distribution of land.

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the analysis of the town of Skalica its neighbourhood. This analysis is based on a resources which are available in a cadastral office, a board of works, a municipal office, the museum of Záhorie, an archives, a libraries and so on. All of these resources are containing an old and a present-day maps, a photos, an aerial images, a books and a lot of other files. In this work, there is the description of natural, historical and cultural surroundings together with the list of changes which were made to this countryside. This description is based on the classified collection of all available materials. As a consequence of this analysis, there are suggestions which could be made to improve this countyside. In the end it was discovered that the region did not come across with a distinct and a radical change.

The methods of mapmaking in the past and at present

This bachelor thesis deals with the methods of mapmaking in the past and at present. Mapmaking from prehistoric times to the oldest maps in the Czech Republic is covered in the introductory part. Military mapping, overview of cadastral surveying, topographic mapping of the 20th century and other maps (SM 5 (1:5000 national map), THM (technical-economic maps), ZMVM (basic large-scale map), middle-scale maps and purpose maps) are described in the following parts. The main part covers an overview of geodetic methods and, in addition, measuring of lengths and altitudes, and instruments and tools used are briefly described. The methods used for photogrammetry and the latest way of providing data i.e. remote survey of the Earth are described in the final part. The aim of the thesis is to describe procedures of mapmaking in the Czech Republic and the map development and to give a summary of methods that were used in the past and those that have been used these days for mapmaking.
