The bachelor thesis follows up on a studio project created in the summer semester of the 3rd year of my bachelor´s study. The aim of the project was to design a new kindergarten in the Brno-střed district. The kindergarten has two departments, both with a capacity for 24 children. The plot is located in the northeast of Havlíčkova Street. The terrain is significantly sloping. Between the ramp and the kindergarten there is a garden for children to play. The slope on the other side of the plot is used for a smooth entrance to the first underground floor from the grammar school side. The kindergarten building has a square shape and one above-ground floor, where the kindergarten management and the main part of the operation are located. The building is single-story with partial basement. In the basement there are the technical facilities, facilities for food preparation and staff. On the northwest side of the building, two classes are symmetrically spread out with a shared cloakroom in the middle.
