The Comparison of Efficiency of Approximate Methods for Solving Transportation Problem
Zárubová, Radka ; Jablonský, Josef (advisor) ; Skočdopolová, Veronika (referee)
The goal of my work is to analyze difference between optimal solution and solution we get when using approximate methods (i.e. NWCM, LCM, VAM). To get necessary data, I have created an application in VBA (both for generating and solving). The application interacts with LINGO. However, its most important parts are procedures for these approximation methods which can be run separately. Therefore, after explaining necessary theory, I focus on approximation methods and explain every single code for them. The last part of my work is the mentioned comparison. In this part, I analyze difference between optimum and approximate solution for five chosen dimensions of transportation tableau. Last but not least, I study whether there is any dependence of difference on number of constrains.

Genus Haemophilus and laboratory examinations in medicine today
KADLECOVÁ, Jana
My bachelor´s thesis focuses on the most major pathogen of the genus named Haemophilus, and Haemophila influenzae. H. influenzae is an originator of more serious infections, mainly its type b, which is the most virulent organism, causing invasive diseases mainly with children and older people. It causes mainly meningitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In the theoretical part of my bachelor´s thesis I write about the genus Haemophilus and clinic significances of the most famous species which occur at present. The genus Haemophilus is an aerobic and a facultative aerobic gram that means it is a negative bacteria, which is characteristic for its arduous requests for accretion. I used some methods for the diagnosis. I used the following methods a test with growth factors, which is a common diagnostic method, which distinguishing Haemophilus according to their addiction to the growth factors. This method is financially very demanding and currently the mason being why its results are not so accurate. But thanks to a new technology a more modern method called MALDI TOF weight spektronomie (MS) was found, which is easier, quicker and more accurate than the first one. MALDI TOF enables a diagnosis of the most demanding pieces of bacteria, yeast and mushrooms. The MALDI TOF diagnosis is characterized by undisputed reliability and cost effectiveness. Lactam antibiotics, mainly antibiotics - co-amoxicilin and chloramfenikol are used as treatment methods against Heamophilus. Against serious infections can one protect themselves with a vaccination the Hib vaccination. In the practical part of my bachelor´s thesis I described some processes and laboratory diagnostics of the pathogen H. influenza by methods MALDI TOF MS and by the Test for growth factories in a microbiological laboratory named Synlab, czech s.r.o., in České Budějovice. The results of how frequently H. influenza occurred in the year 2013, were gained from of the previously mentioned laboratory information system and were transported into the other laboratory from a field office of general practisioners. The other aim of my bachelor´s thesis was to compare severity and of each method. HYPOTHESIS 1: The frequency of H. influenzae in the year 2013 depends on a season. HYPOTHESIS 2: The MALDI TOF MS method is reliable and fast for identification of the genus Haemophilus. The Test with growth factories is not so reliable and fast. From the results it is obvious that the frequency of H. influenzae depends on the season. Heamophilus are very demanding and sensitive bacteria for cultivation and they need optimal conditions for their accretion. In this season the viral diseases increase and they can affect the process of the treatment. During the comparison of these two methods I managed to prove that the second hypothesis MALDI TOF is useful in a diagnosis. This method is not demanding. And the result can be obtained in a few minutes. At the end of my thesis it can be said that the MALDI TOF MS method is fast, reliable and an efficient diagnosis tool for identification of microorganisms. MALDI TOF MS has become an effective method for taxonomic classifications and microbiological studies. The MALDI TOF MS method is fast and there are minimal costs for consumables in samples.

Level of sales and maintenance of cut flowers in CR
Žížalová, Dagmar ; Augustinová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Lucie, Lucie (referee)
In my dissertation work about the topic The level of sales and general care of cut flowers in the Czech republic I have tried to describe all the aspects which influence the conservation, longevity and quality of cut flowers. Currently, where this market segment is seeing dynamic growth, there is also an increased demand for growing cut flowers, their after harvesting technology, keeping and prolonging their longevity. The choice of cut flowers in the Czech Republic is very versatile which is highly appreciated by the customer who prefers to have flowers with higher longevity in his vase. My dissertation work is divided into three parts. The first part is mainly dealing with all the aspects influencing the picking (temperature, humidity, light, fertilization, age of the flowers), the time of picking, cutting of the stem, temperature by picking and the quality of the cut flowers. There are also mentioned other factors influencing the storage of the plants (temperature, water, ethylene), the packaging description and transport of the flowers. Further attention is paid to the keeping and maintaining of the flowers in shops, by the customer and also to the types of agents prolonging the longevity of the flowers in the vase. The second part is dealing with the assortment of imported flowers and greenery into the Czech Republic. The categorization of plants is divided into different categories -- the imported cut flowers, exotic flowers and leaves used in floristry. The world producers of cut flowers also get a mention and the favorite types of flowers are -- Alstroemeria, Anthurium, Cymbidium, Dendrobium, Dianthus, Freesia, Gerbera, Gladiolus, Chrysanthemum, Lilium, Rosa, Tulipa, Zantedeschia. For each type there is also a description of the sensitivity, picking season, type of cut, treatment after picking, transport and longevity in the vase. The third part is dedicated to a customer knowledge survey about the care of cut flowers. As part of my work florists were approached from four Czech regions with a request to participate in a survey and to complete a questionnaire (Ústecký region, Středočeský region, Plzeňský region and Jihočeský region). This resulted in 62 completed questionnaires out of 100 flower shops, and the answers were put together in tables and graphs. The main focus of the questionnaire was the analysis on the various possibilities of purchasing cut flowers, the most frequently sold flowers, the florists providing their customers with information as to how to care for the flowers, which agents to use to keep the longevity of the flowers and whether these agents are also offered to the customers. The survey was also aimed at the cleanliness of the vases and the care for the flowers in the shops. The results of the survey have reassured me, that the florists have to face the economic situation of their customers, the competitiveness of other retail chains selling flowers (where the care for flowers is non-existent), that they have to be mindful of the selection of the flowers as they are subject to fast deterioration and they are always trying to please their customers, so that they return.
