Dehner, David
The effect of different soil tillage on yields and economy growing of sugar beet grown after three forecrops (spring barley, winter wheat and silage maize) was studied in a long-term stationary field experiment conducted in the years 1993-2014 on loamy chernozem soil in sugar beet producing area. Four variants of soil tillage (1. variant -- plowing at 0.28 m, 2. variant - plowing at 0.22 m + loosening at 0.40 to 0.45 m, 3. variant - plowing at 0.28 m + freezable crop sowing and 4. variant - plowing to 0.22 m + freezable crop sowing) were evaluated. Observed results of impact of alternative soil tillage methods on the sugar beet grown after three forecrops on yields, sugar content and economy generally indicate suitability (from the point of production and economy) of the tillage technology with sowing of sugar beet into freezable crop. At least appropriate, in the given drier and warmer site conditions, was reflected deeper soil loosening to 0.40 - 0.45 m. The best forecrop for sugar beet was winter wheat, the least suitable forecrop was silage corn.

Vliv odlišných technologií zpracování půdy na plevele v polních plodinách
Zemánek, Václav
The thesis is focused on technology of tillage and its effect on weed infestation of spring barley. The observations were done in years 2012, 2013 a 2014 on fields in Zabcice owned by Mendel University in Brno. The three different technologies of tillage were observed. The detected results were processed by CCA (Canonical Correspondence Analysis). During the traditional tillage were observed the less weed infestation, there were mainly species like a Silene noctiflora, Cirsium arvense, Fallopia convolvulus and Capsella bursa -- pastoris. The largest weed infestation was observed during minimalistic tillage. There were mainly species Thlaspi arvense, Amaranthus sp., Chenopodium ficifolium and Polygonum aviculare. The tillage with direct sowing encounters mainly species Taraxacum Ruderalia, Convolvulus arvensis, Plantago major and Echinochloa crus -- galli. It is obvious from the results that the weed infestation is influenced by the technology of tillage and the weather of that year.

Halenka, Milan
This thesis focuses on soil tillage and its influence on weed infestation in growths of maize. The field trial was conducted on experimental lands of Mendel University in Žabčice, located in a maize production area. Monitoring of weed plants was carried out on lands treated under three different methods of soil cultivation. The results were processed by redundancy analysis (RDA). The conventional tillage showed the lowest amount of occurred weeds, Echinochloa crus-galli, Chenopodium album and Chenopodium hybridum were the most common species. The highest amount of weed species was observed on lands of direct sowing, species as Cirsium arvense, Stellaria media, Echinochloa crus-galli, Plantago major and Convolvulus arvensis were identified the most often. Species as Amaranthus spp. and Echinochloa crus-galli occurred most frequently on lands of minimum tillage.

Planning documentation community focused on crisis management and protection of the population
ŠVORC, Jaroslav
The diploma thesis is divided into three parts. The first part presents a current situation in South Bohemia describing in detail the community planning documentation. It also attends to local crisis management and protection of the population and its partial activities. In last chapter of the first part I describe integrated rescue system with particular focus on its one of basic elements, The Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The second part of the thesis concerns research that by means of charts and graphs provides particular results of the questionnaire filled out by managers of the constructions department, department of regional development and by workers of south-bohemian municipal workplaces with extended activities oriented on crisis management. The research is then followed by short empirical statistics. The thesis conclusion shows that the community planning documentation focused on crisis management and protection of the population is processed within the range that can be considered as satisfactory.

Foltýnová, Anna
This Master's thesis is focused on problems of modern agriculture. Current agriculture is facing many problems that already exceed the production area. Among these belong soil degradation caused by inappropriate agricultural practices, erosion phenomena, etc. Both developed and developing countries have experienced these problems. This soil degradation is mainly caused due to lack of soil organic matter content. Current agriculture therefore faces the issue of how to solve this problem. A simple solution is based on increasing the content of the soil organic matter in arable land. In the first part, this thesis describes various problems of modern agriculture and also suggests possible solutions. Regarding to content of soil organic matter, the thesis proposes solutions in the form of compost application into the soil. Besides compost, thesis presents an alternative organic fertilizer Jatropha seed cake. Jatropha seed cake is produced as waste after oil extraction from seeds of Jatropha curcas L. In the first part both of these substrates are further described, along with characterization of Jatropha curcas L. The aim of this thesis was to compare the fertilizing effects of Jatropha seed cake with compost. For this purpose, a pot experiment was conducted under controlled laboratory conditions. Application effect of Jatropha seed cake and compost on soil and plants was monitored at selected soil indicators. The results describe the impact of Jatropha seed cake and compost application on production of plant biomass, soil hydrophobicity rate, mineral nitrogen mobility and soil microbial activity.

There is information about the contents of sweet and sour whey, mainly the whey protein, in my diploma thesis. This work also includes whey processing (drying) and the possibilities of its use in certain foodstuff. There are chapters related to whey processing and storage, and also related to factors that can influence the stability of whey in a negative way. My work includes the research of goat whey from the farm of Šošůvka. The aim of the research was to prove quality of the whey, pH changes and titratable acidity in a period of time. I had to find out if there are some colour changes during the storage time. The practical part of my thesis includes the presence of microorganisms in the whey. The parameter was determined between June and October 2014 in the Institute of Food technology of the Mendel's University in Brno. It is connected to the project Whey processing for foodstuff with the help of preservative methods, using some effective plant stuff.
