Krupař, Vratislav ; Cecconi, B. ; Maksimovic, M. ; Nguyen, Q. N. ; Santolík, Ondřej
We present results on the calibration of the HFR receiver, a part of the S/Waves instrument onboard the STEREO spacecraft. The HFR provides us with GP measurements in the frequency range 125–1975 kHz. The obtained data products will be archived in the Plasma Physics Data Center: CDPP. This paper contains a description of used methods and summarizes outputs of the calibration.

Private finance and public policy
Schinasi, Garry J.
This paper articulates a logical foundation—drawn from disparate literatures—for understanding why safeguarding financial stability is an important economic policy objective. The paper also explains why private aspects of finance provide broader social economic benefits and have the characteristics of public goods. Unique aspects of finance are examined, as are the linkages between finance, money, and the real economy.

Database of Whistler-mode Chorus in the Equatorial Plane
Macúšová, E. ; Santolík, Ondřej
Chorus emission is one of the most intense electromagnetic waves. Its source region is localised close to the geomagnetic equatorial plane within a few degrees. We present a unique database of whistler-mode chorus/hiss events obtained from the complete data set of wave measurements provided by the STAFF/DWP wave instrument on board TC-1 spacecraft. The TC-1 is one of two Earth orbiting satellites from the Double Star mission and it orbits close to the equatorial plane. Some instruments onboard both spacecraft are identical to those currently flying on the four Cluster spacecraft. The data base covers the full operational period of the spacecraft, between January 2004 and October 2007. All the events have been visually selected from the onboard-analyzed time-frequency spectrograms of magnetic search-coil measurements below 4 kHz.

KUBÁT, Robert
We live in the time when humanity is often threatened by exceptional affairs, which affect health or lives all of us. To stop or overcome dangerous impacts of these exceptional affairs in society logistic system is built, which eliminated these impacts. This thesis is focused just on this system which is prepared to solve exceptional affairs its devices and resources. In the Czech Republic it is secured solution of the affairs by public administration, which provides basic logistic support. The Fire Rescue Brigade of the Czech Republic is a basic link of a logistic chain. Last years the population of the Czech Republic could make sure about need of logistic support either during devastating floods or tragic accidents. The knowledge of procedures and practical skills of an activity of precautions of protection of population is one of the basic conditions its successful realization while an exceptional affair occurs. The aim of the thesis was to find out and to evaluate the state of a logistic support in a section of protection of the population in public administration with a focus on municipalities with extended activities on a base of crisis management department staff and inhabitants given municipalities. The whole research was aimed so, that after accomplishment of research with the aid of conducted interviews with public administration staff was obtained information about logistic support of particular towns. The view of knowledge and awareness of inhabitants of particular towns was gained by analysis of data obtained by questionnaire survey. Simultaneously this information reflects a general view of a real state of awareness of these inhabitants from the side of council halls. The municipalities with extended activity Týn nad Vltavou, Písek and Tábor include lots of other municipalities. If the thesis should dedicated all of them in a detail, the work would be very comprehensive. That is why it is focused with only particular towns. The methodology of work consisted of collecting theoretical information obtained especially from professional literature, websites and valid laws. In order to find out logistic support and state of awareness of inhabitants conducted interviews (included 21 questions) with crisis management department staff were accomplished. Application of sex education in facilities services social care for persons with disabilities
SVATOŠOVÁ, Alena
Abstract The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first one focuses on the general definition of used terminology, explains the concept of a person with disabilities, classifies types of facilities, social care and presents conceptual link the phenomena of sex, gender and sexuality. The second chapter develops a particular view on a specific area of sexuality and sex education of handicapped people. The whole work is to extend mainstreaming the gender dimension, serving as a possible point of view on this issue. The research aims to determine the level of awareness in the methodology of sex education for employees working in organizations, which sponsor the provision of social welfare services, and to investigate if this method is applied to education in practice, or what its level is. The operational objective investigation is to determine the ability of clients of these facilities to reflect and apply the acquired knowledge, acquired through sex education implemented, if the provision of services is conducted. The dual dimension of research (staff - clients) was chosen primarily because of treatment feedback on information obtained from the staff. The entire course of the research was determined by beforehand given research questions that arose on the basis of knowledge which are drawn from the literature indebted to the current state of the problem. These questions cover a field of view, following the objective of this research. Overview of research questions: What is the attitude of staff on issues of sexuality of people with health disabilities? What is the awareness of employees about the device and intimate life of partner clients? Are workers trained in methods of organization of sex education of persons with disabilities? Is providing services of sex education of clients in progress? What is the attitude of workers to aspects of gender education? Do clients focus on issues of sexuality? What kind of sex education would be received by clients better: group, individual, gender-defined or mixed? For specific data collection, was used special technique of group discussions through which I obtained the necessary information from the employees of the institution. For the work with clients I chose the technique of an individual interview with the given instructions. The collected data were processed by encoding method, under which the course of interviews and group discussions was written, talked about and divided into areas which were assigned to the questions corresponding to the research ones. Adequate responses were provided with codes from which it was possible to derive the desired conclusion. The result of research presents information on a certain form of education in the field of sexuality, but at a level that is not supported by any methodology. Positive thing on the whole subject remains a clear shift from taboos and social elimination to adoption of sexuality of people with health disabilities as an unquestionable part of their lives. But still the staff misses professional competencies which would support their efforts in solving specific situations relating to sexuality of clients and its manifestations. The possible implementation of sex education would be accepted by clients gratefully, as some of them are completely lost in this sphere of human being. This work could open any questions in the implementation of sex education and the possible beginning of its organization. The staff could be assisted by the model report on sexuality and relationships of people with disabilities included in enclosed work.
