The influence of ecological conditions on permanent grassland and optimalisation of pratotechnic practises in Borkovice area

This dissertation thesis researches the impact of ecological conditions on the permanent graminaceous cover not faraway from the peatland in the Borkovice region. These ecological conditions primarily mean water regime of the habitat. The nutritive regime and the fodder crop value are monitored in this thesis. These data were acquired with the help of the vegetation composition, using bio-indikative methods. Resulting values are described in the thesis, and their mutual relations are also stated there. In accordance to the ascertained results, proper pratotechnic measures were proposed. These measures try to harmonize the productive and non-productive functions.

The frost susceptibility of the soils and materials to subgrade of the pavements

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the determination of the frost susceptibility of soils in the subgrades of road structures. The theoretical part compares the ways of testing the frost susceptibility in the Czech Republic and other selected countries of the European Union. Furthermore, it also deals with the development of the frost susceptibility index in the Czech Republic. The empirical part focuses on the laboratory testing of the frost susceptibility of the given sample of soil by the direct frost heave method. Moreover, it also deals with the simulation of penetration of frost by the subgrade and the possibility of shortening the length of the freezing during the direct testing the frost susceptibility.

Komplexní analýza dlouhodobých změn krkonošské tundry: Záchrana vybraných ohrožených druhů rostlin tundrové oblasti Krkonošský národní park

Cíl projektu: Popsání vodního režimu půd včetně znečištění těžkými kovy a distribuce radonu, dynamika tundrových ekosystémů v závislosti na změnách prostředí, sledování vývoje vegetačních a klimatických změn v krkonošské tundře v holocénu, rozbor příčin ohrožení populací vybraných krkonošských rostlinných druhů a sledování klíčivosti dominant travních dominant tundrových ekosystémů. Získané poznatky využit pro předvídání ekologických katastrof, navrhování účinných postupů revitalizace krajiny, začlenění území do sítě Natura 2000 a programu ITEX a v neposlední řadě pro rozhodování v činnosti státní správy. Výsledky projektu bude možné v některých parametrech srovnávat s projektem DART (Dynamic response of the forest - tundra, ecotone to environmental change) řešeným ve Skandinávii. Úkoly řešené v roce 2003 v rámci subprojektu 5: Monitoring populací ohrožených druhů, zachycení současného stavu populací, přesné lokalizování, mikromapy; Kultivace vybraných bezprostředně ohrožených druhů; U vybraných druhů založení stálých ploch a sledování změn prostorového uspořádání populace, ontogetického vývoje jedinců, generativního a vegetativního rozmnožování populace; U vybraných druhů studium některých parametrů generativního rozmnožování a genetické struktury populací metodou analýzy isoenzymů; V některých případech nezbytná taxonomická revize krkonošských populací a srovnání s materiálem z jiných území; Studium introgrese - analýza hybridních rojů.
