Geographical aspects of commuting to work and schools in the district of Benešov

The present thesis deals with the geographical aspects of commuting to work and schools in the district of Benešov between 1991 and 2001. Introductory chapters are devoted to the objectives of this work and literature review on the topic. The following chapters are focused on the methodology and data processing for commuting. Followed by a chapter containing selected geographic characteristics of the district Benešov. Other chapters deal with commuting to work and schools in the region. There is also evaluated the influence near of makroregion center of Prague on the monitored region.

Distance-decay effect of commuting on the example region Vysočina

The present thesis deals with the effect of distance decay in mobility to work and schools on the example of Vysočina region between 1991 and 2001. By setting the two representative centers of commuting, Jihlava and Třebíč, which means opposite extremes between selected years, there will be a deeper analysis of the relationships between the intensity of commuting by municipalities and their distances to the centers of settlements. A substantial part of the work is to evaluate the effect of distance decay on commuting to work and schools. And also assess changes in the catchment area centers range between censuses. Along with identifying the factors that makes the changes.

Spatial mobility of Citizens of the town České Budějovice (using of urban public transport)

This Bachelor thesis deals with spatial mobility of Citizens of the town České Budějovice, particularly with using of the urban public transport. Prologue is dedicated to analysis of geopraphical literature about transport and then to characteristic of transport relationship of České Budějovice and characteristic of urban public transport in České Budějovice. Futher the research and its evaluation follows. The research was conducted in four different areas of the town and it deals with who, how often and where travels by urban public transport and it also solves which alternativ conveyances use people for moving in the city. The Migration of Labour in The Southbohemian District

My bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the labour market, in the context of the labour mobility in the Southbohemian District. The bachelor thesis contains two parts: Theoretical part describes the labour market, its functions, segments and types of the area mobility. The author dwells in this part upon the characteristic of the chosen and monitored region, in the economical and social aspect. The second, practical part is subdivided to three chapters. These chapters include the primary research of the trends and streams in the types (3) of the area mobility, evaluation of the mobility influence, in connection with the labour market, and the prognosis of the future situation at the end. The analysis of the abovementioned trends and streams makes its observations within three major types of the area mobility: 1) The up-country migration (mobility) in Czech Republic is observed in the period 1996 {--} 2006. 2) Immigration of the foreigners in the same time period. 3) The commutation is monitored in the years 1991 and 2001. The analysis proceeds from the temporal series, where the ordinary used indicators (e. g. balance, turnover, intensity, effectivity, gross and net rate of migration) are applied. The last chapter of the practical part brings up the prognosis for the area mobility progress, in the context of labour market, or its indicators.
