The Relation between Track Geometry and Development of Long-Pitch Corrugation
Jung, Jiří ; Volejník, Miloslav (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
Thesis deals with the relation between track geometry and development of long-pitch corrugation in curves of small radii. In the frame of this diploma thesis, measurements of track geometry and measurements of long-pitch corrugation in the sections between Brno - Malomerice and Babice nad Svitavou were carried out. The measured data were processed and evaluated, while individual parameters were compared with each other and their dependencies were searched.
New Approaches to Section Evaluation of Track Quality
Joudal, Daniel ; Volejník, Miloslav (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
This diploma thesis addresses track geometry parameters quality assessment. It specifically studies a new assessment method intended to be used by the track manager. The theoretical background consists of description of measuring means used on the railway network in the Czech Republic and other methods of track quality assessment used around the world. The practical part lists the advantages and disadvantages of the new method. There’s also a comparison of this new method with the method currently used method CZK and an analysis of the quality index evolution.
Evaluation of Tamping Method Trial Test Section
Tinka, Miloš ; Bombera, Ing Jan (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the influence of the modified tamping technology on the quality of the track geometry parameters. On the established test section, which is located on the doble-track line Břeclav - Přerov near the Rohatec village, a standard tamping technology was used on one track and the other modified. The adjustment consists in a larger number of tamping footprints, resulting in a larger reinforced surface of the sleeper bed beneath the sleeper. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether the modified technology will achieve a slower breakdown of the track geometry parameters and thus extend the time between the necessary repairs.
Optimization of Location of Railway Stops in Track Section Znojmo - Okříšky
Kubina, Jiří ; Hoza, Miroslav (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The bachelor thesis "Optimization of Location of Railway Stops in Track Section Znojmo - Okříšky" deals with assessing the current state of the location of railway stops and railway stations in the track section in terms of walking distance to built-up areas of municipalities. If the walking distance is unsatisfactory the thesis offers solution by transferring the railway stop to a more suitable location or by building a new stop in accordance with applicable laws and standards. Moreover, the work designs access roads to the newly built or transferred stops. Design of newly constructed stops is presented. The work also deals with the current municipal bus service and takes it into account in the decision making. The paper considered only minor adjustments to the track geometry.
Bludov - Hanusovice Railway Track Reconstruction (section between km 52.800 - km 55.950) Including Track Laying Technology
Mikulášková, Lucie ; Sobotka, Lukáš (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The objective of bachelor thesis is desing of the track geometry parameters and reconstruction permanent way of single-line railway track in the section of km 52,8 – 55,95. Section start behind the railway stop Bludov – lázně and ends at km 55,95 connecting to the turnout number O4 in the loading point Olšany. The thesis deals with design of a railway crossings and platform of railway stop in the village Bohutín. The thesis also include design drainage of track and technology procedure of orks. Next aim is design of increase speed. All of adjustments are according to valid regulations.
Design of the High Speed Track between Brno and Znojmo
Repko, Michal ; Velebil, Jiří (referee) ; Valehrach, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a new track route of high speed line from Brno to Znojmo, specifically between the planned terminal of high speed line Unkovice and existing railway station Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou. The track is designed for a maximum speed of 250 km/h. The alignment and profile of the line were designed, including the design of the railway superstructure and track geometry parameters.
Upgrading of Jindřichov na Moravě and Branná Railway Stations
Kubina, Jiří ; Pokorný, Ondřej (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The master thesis "Upgrading of Jindřichov na Moravě and Branná Railway Stations" deals with designing new platforms that are suitable for people with reduced mobility in accordance with applicable laws and standards. Platforms with the platform edge height of 550 millimetres above the top of rail were designed. The speed limit was increased from the original 40 km/h up to 50 km/h. Moreover, the thesis design reconstruction of railway superstructure and railway substructure and deal with the drainage system.
Study of Tram Track in the Veveří Street
Nováková, Anna-Marie ; Janík, Jiří (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
This thesis deals with the relocation of the tram line No. 12 from Kounicova to Veveří Street in Brno city. The No. 12 line will run together with lines No. 3 and No. 11. The proposed line is run in the local communications area. At the intersection of Veveří with Pod Kaštany Street, line No. 12 will be disconnected using the tram triangle, then it will run along Pod Kaštany and Šumavská Streets to Kounicova Street, where it will be reconnected to the original line and with the help of another tram triangle there will be a possibility to continue by the planned track along Šumavská Street. The goal of this thesis is to propose a design of tram superstructure construction, provide a solution for surrounding roads and propose the location of stops, including access to them.
