Dlážděnka park - The project of a new design

Presented diploma theses is focused on revitalization of urban park in Prague. This thesis is composed of three parts. Initial part represents review of selected literature dealing with public space, its meaning, historical development, and qualities. In connection to this theme it deals with one specific form of public space, urban park, and public greenery in general. In this chapter qualities of urban public space are examined together with current issues and trends in new urban space designs and revitalizations. The second part is concentrated on the place of interest and its analyses. The core of this part is to collect wide range of information about the area. Emphasis is put on environmental factors, historical development, and space factors of close surrounding. Analyses of current use was done by field investigation and social survey, which was done by questioner. Other information was collected by personal interviews with local representatives and park users. Requirements of local users were collected as well. Design of selected area composes the last part of the theses. Concept of new park layout comes out from characteristics creating current state and is inspired by historical context. At the same time, it is based on requirements of its users. Presented design is drawn up as case study, which is supported by representative sections and visualizations. This part covers design of crucial details as well. To keep a track of design general cost estimate is presented. The core of this design is to create a space which is attractive to its users, who will spend more time in public space and share it with its neighbours.

Dendroflora of city park Dvořákovy sady in Karlovy Vary

This bachelors project deals with the inventory of trees and dendroflora assessment in the city park Dvořákovy sady in Karlovy vary.
It is divided into two parts, begins with a literature review, which covers the history of Karlovy Vary and historical development of gardens, parks and orchards. Part of the research is also a chapter devoted emergence of city park Dvořákovy sady and characteristics of the area where there are described, inter alia, soil and climatic conditions of this place.
The practical part contains an inventory of dendroflora, which took place during 2015. Horticultural assessment methodology was developed based on Ing. Jaroslav Kolarik and the goal was to obtain information about the health, vitality, height, girth, age and physiological age of the trees. The basis for the inventory of trees was a booklet about the nature trail from 2012, which includes a map without scale and inventory table. This publication contains erroneous and incomplete data and completely there is no objective assessment of the health and vital condition of trees. During inventory many pictures have been taken, the most interesting became part of this thesis. In this section are described according to the author interesting taxons of trees, memorial trees and park zones (lawns, flower-garden).
Main objective of research is inventory of species of trees, including an assessment of current state of trees and park zones.

Park jako součást systému zeleně sídla

The literature review is about a system of green infrastructure and describes possibilities of park designs in order to create relaxing places in the cities. The practical part of this thesis is focused on the proposal of a renewed park in Hradec Králové.The investigated area is located in the historical center near to Pospíšilova street in the Silesian Suburbs, where used to be a park. However, nowadays it is only a treelined space. This architectural study has been focused on the renewal of this historical urban park. The study describes an analysis of chosen area and the conceptual solution has been carried out.

Historický vývoj vybraných vegetačních prvků ve vybraném objektu zahradní a krajinářské tvorby - modelový objekt městský park v Trutnově

The bachelor's dissertation observes the historical evolution of vegetative elements in Trutnov's town park. Old pictures, postcards, maps and plans were searched and were used to create the image of changes in the park. Also terrain was examined to beable to map the current status. The dissertation is divided into four periods --1889 -- 1939, 1940 -- 1989, 1993 -- 2013 a 2014-2015.. It was found out, that almost all documentation until 1948 was destroyed. In the years 1993-2013 a study about park's renovation according to M. Kotrbanec was composed, based on which new plantigs were carried out with in 5 years. In 2014 another planting was done according to suggestion of Ing. Kolařík from 2009.

Residential complex Brno - Reckovice

Residential Brno - Řečkovice A main task of this diploma thesis to propose the use of previosly undeveloped areas for the housing and also establish to the original structure of the village comunity by effective utilization of these areas. The ground is located in distrikt Řečkovice and Mokrá Hora in Brno. The Řečkovice cadastral is defined by Žilkova and Terezy Novákové street. North protperty line is determined by Ivanovice cadastral number 1035/26. The site is bounded by existing terraced and detached houses and apartment buildings on the northeast side. The south side is is formed by former barracks and northwest side provide open countryside towards Ivanovice. The development is designed to became a separate distrikt of Brno. The funcitonal areas are able to place residental house of different categories, also public facilities, recreation areas and public open space with all kinds of greenery. A main idea of the concept was to create residental comlex with a functional center that will not compete to existing center of Řečkovice. Densities are highest by the main road following the expected denser development of former barracks. They decreases ito the existing development along Žilkova street. The protective zone for pipeline is used as a city park. The proposed concept of functional areas clearly define continuity and transport infrastructure by design of buildings in different categories that meets all needs of future residents. Plenty of green space for recreation will also ensure functionality and efficient use of this unit.

Zpracování podkladů pro projekt péče o městský park Lísčí v k.ú. Třebíč

This thesis deals with the processing of documents for the management plan for urban park Lísčí in the cadastral Třebíč. The outcome of the inventory table woody vegetation divided on tree and shrub layer, segmentation territory logical functional units and maps of woody vegetation and segments. All complemented by ideological design of territory under the care of a literature search on the topic of care for urban forests.

Městské parky a jejich vztah k rozvoji pylových alergií

This bachelor thesis focuses on problematique of pollen allergy. In the first section this work offers overview about pollen allergies. Elements that conditions start of allergyand reaction of organism and imunity system. That is followed by possibilities to cure such conditions and overview of used medicaments. The next section is dealing with survey of people suffering from pollen allergies about their awareness about their conditon, furthermore it maps one particular town park. Finally in the annex is offered overview of selected common woody plants often found in parks in Europe.

Kraví hora jako fenomén města Brna

The diploma thesis describe the past, examine the prresent and proposes the future of Kraví hora (Cow hill), Brno hill, which has retained its panorama undeveloped until now. It seeks to develop the potential of the place without suppression of the genius loci. It endeavours to remove barriers and make the space more penetrable by using a dense network of roads and foothpaths. It unites the area with a variety of features in a large city park. It offers a new sollution of the conflict - a city park versus a garden colony - by their interconnection and taking advantage of this symbiosis.

The Bachelor's Thesis named "The Project of Furniture of City Park" brings a detailed look at a public space, specifically a city park, at its uses and facilities. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part specifies the problems of public grounds, it offers an analysis of basic elements of city park and charting of city furniture based on its origins and function. There are ergonomic requirements, material's structure and structural solution. Furthermore there are examples of interesting implementations focusing on seating for more people which came into being for a public space. The practical part of the thesis brings an analysis of the chosen site, there are solutions to the proposal, particular variants and a final solution.
