Visual management of the production process
Moláková, Pavla ; Bartošek, Vladimír (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the modifications of workplace design and changesof the layout of the company’s production space using lean manufacturing tools. The first part of the thesis theoretically describes the terms like production process, organization of the workplaces, lean production and some methods of lean production. The practical part of the thesis describes the choosen company, analysis of the current production process and visual aids used in the production of the company. The design part contains a proposal for a new layout of the production hall, the introduction of the principles of the 5S method in the workplace and proposal for the use of visual management tools. At the end of the work, the benefits of the proposed options for the company are evaluated.
Study Logistic Concept in Manufacturing Company
Flídr, Jan ; Šimeček, Jan (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the implementation of kanban system in the company Daikin Device Czech Republic s.r.o. The theoretical part describes the principles of logistics, lean production and inventory management, including their basic tools and methods. In the practical part of the thesis, Daikin Device Czech Republic Ltd. is introduced, where the analysis of the current state of supply logistics in the production hall is performed. Based on the analysis is designed kanban system including the way of its implementation. Furthermore, the risks of kanban system implementation are analyzed. Finally, the economic and uneconomic benefits of the kanban system for the company are evaluated.
Study of Proposals for Production Process Improvement with the Focus on Lean Processes incl. OHS
Hlaváček, Jan ; Moravec, Radoslav (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The main objective of this bachelor thesis is a proposal which will lead to increased production, savings of wage costs and improvement of safety at work. The first part contains a general overview of lean manufacturing and instruments that help increase productivity, quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process. Based on these methods and long-term observation and analysis of the workplace. The proposals were described in the second part.
Lean Management of Production System
Nejdlová, Anna ; Dlabač,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis is focused on lean management of the production system in the company ASSA ABLOY Czech & Slovakia s. r. o. The main outcome is the proposal of a new layout and process balancing with the use of lean manufacturing methods. The first part describes the theoretical basics which are used for analysis afterwards. The results of these analyses are then used as a main basis for the proposal of changes in the chosen part of the production process.
Rationalization of operational planning in production
Jansa, Slavomír ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present a proposal of austerity measures that will lead to a reduction of waste in an industrial enterprise in accordance with the concept of lean production. In the first part there is presented an overview of lean production methods and tools for increasing productivity, efficiency and quality of production process. In the second part of the thesis, the results of the analysis are submitted and proposals to implement austerity measures are made.
The Study of Material Flow Management Continuity for Production Tasks
Sipos, Hajnalka ; Kratina, Vít (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis deals with the management of the material flow studies in the selected manufacturing company. It focuses on the analysis of the current state of the production logistics. Contains suggestions for improving the process of picking on specific workplaces, which contribute to higher productivity of production tasks.
STREAMLINING OF THE PACKAGING PROCESS AT ASSEMBLY SITES
Kučera, Roman ; Jozefovič, Peter (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
The thesis deals with finding a way to streamline the process of packaging stabilizers at assembly workplaces in order to increase its productivity. The analysis of the current state in which the process is in is carried out using lean manufacturing methods. On the basis of this analysis, and after its evaluation, a proposal is made to make the process leaner and thus increase its productivity.
OPTIMALIZATION OF LOGISTIC FLOWS IN THE ENTERPRISE
Dvořáček, Radim ; Linda, Bohdan (advisor)
The dissertation is concerned about, according to author still “live” problem of optimization of logistic flow, with scope to company environment. The aim is to find correct methodology for defined problem and to apply it to particular case study. Theoretical part begins with description and analysis of actual state of problematic of logistic flow optimization and listing the methods which are able to be applied to these problems. The three main groups – exact methods, heuristic methods and combined methods take part in. The analysis continues further with searching the methods, useful for application in production company environment. Vast focus is on layout design task, because once layout is created, except some minor changes, it lasts usually for some years and therefore it is necessary to consider it properly. Moreover, there is also difference between other characteristics of production, as production planning and machines / technologies upgrade and layout; the former are in a certain manner changeable and not stable, but the layout cannot be changed on for ex. weekly basis. Contribution to research is located at the end of theoretical part, which is newly modified methodology to be more suitable for practical application. Practical part begins with the description of particular case study, e.g. actual status of logistic system in enterprise. The processes described include purchasing management, production management and mainly layout design of production space. The application of suitable methods consists of group technology methods – already known method, plus newly modified method and their mutual comparison. In addition is included already known value stream mapping method. The result is recommendation for change in layout design, developed by integration of results, brought by group technology methods and value stream mapping method.
Mapinng and improving logistic flow in the firm ZEBR.
Kmeť, Lenka ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Špinka, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the project is to chart the course of logistics and information flows of the selected company, to eveluate the entire process and to find improvements. In the first part there is mentioned an introduction into methods of lean manufacturing, value stream mapping and throughput time calculations. In the next section the flow of values is mapped and the map of current state is created. Futhermore, the throughput time of selected parts is computed and the mounting diagram of measured products is assembled. On to these materials are founded the sources of wasting and solutions are suggested. Afterwards on the basis of the obtained data are given solutions eveulated in terms of economic indicators.
Process performance analysis
Vintrlík, Jan ; Koška, Petr (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
Presented thesis entitled “Process performance analysis” deals with problems in identification of the causes of the increasing cost and declining quality of the products, their minimization or complete removal. Further analysis will address the cost of low quality, serving as a basis for possible recovery of the fleet. All material presented in this thesis were collected in the company of NEVOGA, s r.o. engaged in manufacturing parts for the construction industry.
