Dewatering of foundation pit - numerical analysis
Krejzar, Vojtěch ; Boštík, Jiří (referee) ; Miča, Lumír (advisor)
The subject of the presented thesis is a foundation pit dewatering numerical analysis. The study is introduced with practical examples and the summary of the necessary theory. Individual subtasks are modeled as two or three-dimensional problem on a chosen foundation pit example. A comparison with analytical methods and theoretical knowledge about the problem is made. The studies focus on specifying the pumped water quantity, the shape of the depression curve, determining the size of the numerical model and the influence of the finite element network density. The steady-state flow cases, water table aquifer, a well system, sheet pile wall cutoff effect, surface drained pit and partial penetration cases are analyzed. The work proposes a method of modeling a well by FEM. The main output is a 3D analysis of a submerged excavation dewatered with a partially penetrated well system.
Analysis of performance of embankment constructed on subsoil improved by vertical drains
Kováč, Vladimír ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The thesis deals with the back analysis of the instrumentated embankment on the subsoil, improved by prefabricated vertical drains. The first part is devoted to the theory of consolidation calculation. Furthermore, the author deals with a parametric study of the analytical calculation of prefabricated drains and the comparsion of the analytical and numerical solution. The last and the largest part of the work is a back analysis of the embankment which was built as a part of the subsoil improvement near the Suez Canal in Egypt by Keller GmbH.
The Third Track in Track Section Blansko - Rájec-Jestřebí
Šíp, Radek ; Hoza, Miroslav (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The task of the thesis is to propose the third track in track section Blansko - Rájec-Jestřebí and increasing line speed with maximum use of existing track body and grounds of SŽDC, s.o. Next is the design of the reconstruction of all engineering objects (bridges, runoffs, railway crossings and platforms). Additioning of the third track will cause extensive structural modifications at railway stations Blansko and Rájec-Jestřebí. Within the building will be verified construction of new railway stop Spešov.
Study of the Letovice railway station upgrading
Dorko, Patrik ; Sobotka, Lukáš (referee) ; Hruzíková, Miroslava (advisor)
The subject of the master’s thesis is to design a reconstruction of the Letovice railway station for access for persons with reduced mobility and orientation. The thesis deals with adjustment to the railway superstructure, substructure and drainage system of the station. Part of the thesis is explore the possibility of building a new railway stop.
Upgrading of Uničov Railway Station
Šafář, Zdeněk ; Vacek, Josef (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the reconstruction design of Uničov railway station. The aim was to create a solution which would satisfy both traffic and passenger requirements. The design puts an emphasis on a compliance with applicable laws and standards, simplicity and usefulness. New constructions were designed for maximum safety. Railway station accessibility for disabled persons played an important role in the design. In comparison with the original state, the permissible line speed was increased and new platforms and drainage system were designed.
A comparison between upgrading of the Březová nad Svitavou railway station and a new railway stop
Jelínková, Markéta ; Hoza, Miroslav (referee) ; Hruzíková, Miroslava (advisor)
The task of the thesis is to propose an adjustment to the railway station Březová nad Svitavou with regard to the introduction of the remote control of security device and explore the possibility of building a new railway stop that would be located closer to downtown. The aim is mutual comparison of elaborated variants. Work includes design of new platforms meet the conditions for safe access for people with limited mobility, next adjustment are adjustment of the geometric parameters of the track superstructure and substructure, including system of drainage station.
Analysis of Trench Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors
Karlovský, Juraj ; Polčák, Josef (referee) ; Bábor, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the selection and optimalization of suitable analytical methods for study of TIGBT (Trench Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) structures with a use of methods, that depict material composition of the studied sample. The theoretical part contain explana-tions of the analytical methods used for measurements and basic principle of operation of an TIGBT transistor. The practical part contain the methodic of measurements and the evaluation of the obtained data and design of optimal procedures in done experiments.
Upgrading of Nedvědice Railway Station
Rous, Petr ; Kroupa, Jan (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is a reconstruction of Nedvědice railway station. The thesis contains modification of track geometry parameters of the railway, reconstruction of the railway superstructure and railway substructure. Platform with the platform edge height of 550 millimetres above the top of rail was designed. Design of a railway crossings according to valid regulations is other part of thesis. The thesis also include drainage system renovation.
Upgrading of Jaroměř Railway Station
Diblík, Milan ; Sobotka, Lukáš (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is an upgrading of a railway station Jaroměř to increase the speed of passing trains, improving safety and comfort of passengers during getting on and getting off and access to trains. The upgrading includes design of new structures. Platform will be upgrading at the height of 550 mm above the top of rail and will meet the requirement for wheelchair access underpass. Drainage is designed as well. Upgrading will be done with applicable laws and standards.
Usability of stillage from ethanol production
Audy, Dan ; Večeř, Marek (referee) ; Leštinský, Pavel (advisor)
This work solves the use of stillage from ethanol production. Also solves processing into material DDGS and then solves the material and energy balance. This material and energy balance was calculated for 7070 kg of stillage per hour. The final energy requirements of the process were based on the amount of stillage produced to obtain 1 m3 of ethanol. The results of this work offer an insight to the problems of processing stillage. Thanks to conversion for 1 m3 of produced ethanol, results is also offerring the possibility of fast conversion of an approximate energy needed for devices of other capacities.
