Validation of the coding theory in TENS utilizing electrotherapy
Horká, Eva ; Pánek, David (referee) ; Malá, Jitka (advisor)
title: Validation of the coding theory in TENS utilizing electrotherapy Objective: Confirmation of the existence of coding theory in electrotherapy to relieve pain elektroanalgetickými current type TENS (transcutaneous electrical neurostimulation). Method: The thesis is elaborated on the basis of the pilot study, which is based to investigate the usability of TENS currents in pain. The experiment is conducted in ten patients (men and women aged 20-30 years) with chronic pain lumbar using assessment of pain using a visual analogue scale. The effect of the therapy is evaluated again using a visual analogue scale immediately after treatment and the following day before the treatment. For verify the effect of the therapy was repeated five times each day. Due to the low number Patients research has pilot character and its results are statistically analyzed. Results: As stated in theory (Nafe, 1934; Weddell, 1955; Sinclair, 1955), will be pain relief at least one level on a visual analogue scale, however, an absolute pain relief after one therapy does. In the context of the whole group during the five-day pain therapy reduced by 2 to 3 degrees, but not reduced during one current application, as indicated theory. Keywords: pain - coding theory - TENS - visual scale anlague Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The role of midwife at the birth management techniques Frederick Leboyer.
RUŠIKVASOVÁ, Dana
The role of midwife at the birth management techniques Frederick Leboyer A birth is an event of a great importance not only for a woman but also for a child, who should be taken into consideration as well. According to Frederick Leboyer, it is important to welcome a newborn into life in the best way possible, as the birth has a major impact on the rest of the newborn´s life. Frederick Leboyer, a French gyneacologist and obstetrician, has made an assertion that birth trauma should be minimized and maximum ephasis should be laid on a newborn child. The theoretical part of my bachelor thesis deals with Frederick Leboyer´s birthing method and the role of a birth attendant performing a childbirth in accordance with the Leboyer´s method. The birth according to Leboyer is divided into an obstetric and a paediatric part. The obstetric part includes the psychological preparation of the mother, silence during the birth, patience, attention, deep concentration and birthing techniques. The paediatric part includes the observation of the beginning of the newborn´s breathing, a postponed cut of the umbilical cord, the newborn´s back massage and bathing of the newborn after giving birth. The purpose of the bachelor thesis research part was to discover whether any elements of the Leboyer´s method are incorporated in birthing at the present time and whether mothers-to-be, given the possibility, would be agreeable to give birth according to Leboyer´s method. Additionally, midwives were asked for their opinion about the method. The participatory action research was done during observing a number of birthings which took place at the Departments of Gynecology and Obstetrics of several chosen hospitals. In addition, semi-standardized interview with midwives, who work at the hospitals, and their clients, who were interviewed after giving birth, is included in the research. The aim of the research was to discover to which degree is Leboyer´s method incorporated in delivery rooms. On the basis of this aim a research question was set: ?How is the method used during birthing in delivery rooms?? It was discovered that, in the hospitals where the research was done, some of Leboyer´s techniques, such as to lay a newborn on the mother´s abdomen, a massage of the newborn and the newborn´s presence by his mother during the whole stay in the delivery room, are used. This bachelor thesis might serve as study material for those who study midwifery and as informational material about the technique for birth attendants and mothers-to-be in Czech hospitals. This bachelor thesis may as well serve as inspiration for creating a Leboyer-based norm for birthing practices.

In the first part is a problem examined in a wider scale. Terms are explained and the examples of other squares in the Czech republic are described in this section. The second part is about a specific place of Lidické square. At first the analysis are described and there are also the solutions for the problems. These solutions are included in the following design. The whole project is described and justified and discussion with a description of the possible conflicts ends whole thesis.

Leasing by International Financial Reporting Standards
Bubníková, Jana ; Müllerová, Libuše (advisor) ; Reiterman, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis continuously builds on the previous Bachelor thesis and develops a perspective on leasing on the international scale. It's based on IAS 17 and its competent interpretation. It shows the impact on the accounts and statements of accounts from the standpoint of the lessor and the lessee. The whole work is undergoing a number of illustrative examples which approach theory in a numerical implementation. In the conclusion there is a setting out the main differences between the Czech and international approach for accounting and reporting lease also lists the possible future modification of the lease.

INSTRUMENTATION ? IDEAL SOUND AND EXPRESSION
Štědroň, Miloš ; Riedlbauch, Václav (advisor) ; Bartoň, Hanuš (referee) ; Parsch, Arnošt (referee)
In my thesis, I was trying to deal with the aspects of instrumentation that primarily concern not only the sound concepts, but that are also influenced by other, extra-musical aspects. Given the breadth of the topic, I focused only on analyses of the twentieth century´s music, on instrumentation methods of Leoš Janácek and Bohuslav Martinu in particular. Analyses of two concrete works by Alfred Schnittke and Arvo Pärt are in my opinion a typical example of stratification of musical thinking in the second half of the twentieth century. A twentieth or twenty-first century composer does not think about instrumentation in a purely musical context any more, he can create a whole scale of meanings and hidden messages. In this I see the mission and sense of contemporary music. That is not to stagnate in the area of satisfying of ideal sound concepts, but to reflect not only the impulses from other branches of art, but also social and historical contexts.

Possibilities of Cloud Computing application in public administration on the example of Czech diplomatic missions
Kabuďová, Zuzana ; Voříšek, Jiří (advisor) ; Kos, Petr (referee)
Cloud Computing is currently frequently discussed concept. Access to IT via a web browser is increasingly desired means of providing information and communication technology across the whole society, public administration included. This thesis focuses on the possibilities of Cloud Computing employment in the Czech Republic's Public Administration, specifically on the example of Czech diplomatic missions and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to which they are directly subordinated. As a starting point the comparison with the United States, thw Great Britain, Australia, Switzerland, Japan and the European Union is taken. These examples demonstrate that Cloud Computing can work in public administration and that it will remain a trend prevalent in government offices on a global scale. Equally important is the comparison with the situation within the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic, which has already been using Cloud Computing services for couple of years. Based on the comparison with all above mentioned countries, with the Ministry of the Interior and given the international, European and national legal requirements, potential cloud services for email communication and document management system are identified to be envisaged for diplomatic missions and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A methodology proposal of swimming style crawl based on programmed teaching procedure
RAMBOUSKOVÁ, Veronika
The main task of this bachelor`s final project is to propose a methodology of a course for the front crawl. The course should contain relevant methodological cards, questionnaires of self - control etc., which were coming out from programmatic and creatively oriented lessons. It was using method of scaling, of an experiment and the method of testing. I mainly placed emphasis on the practical part. My goal was to verify the theoretical observations in the profession. Therefore five methodological cards for teaching of students of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Faculty of Education were designed. In this class it was possible to compare four groups of young women in the age of 20 years. All groups had about 16 members. Two groups had a very good technique of swimming. The other two groups were at a worse level. Unfortunately it was not possible to confront two groups at the same level, because many people from one group at the worse level was not able to swim even 20 m by the front crawl. That is why I had to compare a worse group with a better control group. The designed methodological cards were presented during five lessons in the period 22.2. {--} 21.3. 2008. I was showing the cards to the worse group, which had the possibility to see the cards during the whole experiment. The second group did not have this possibility. Besides I made questionnaires of self {--} control, which were filled up by both two groups at the end. In a questionnaire there were ten questions about the technique of the front crawl. The worse group made six mistakes in average. The second {--} better group had ten mistakes altogether. At the end everybody had to swim 20 m by the front crawl and then gained a mark from 1 to 5. The average mark of the first worse group was 2, 7 and 1, 76 in the second better group. The tests, which are shown here, are described in detail in chapters 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

DEVELOPMENT OF ICHTIOFAUNA IN THE NEW FILED POND CHABAŘOVICE
ŤUK, Josef
The Chabarovice coal mining pit arose by flooding the former strip mine area for brown coal. After filling, the pit area should reach about 225 hectare, total volume of water 34.4 mil. m3, average depth 15,6 meters with maximum of 23,3meters. It is assumed that the pond and adjacent areas will be used for recreation usage after completion of recultivation and ground shaping. I have performed the investigations in June and in August 2004 - 2005, using basic ichthyological methods. The data about recruitment were collected by the littoral seine net and adult fish (older than one year) were investigated by gillnets nets. Fish was determinated to genus, individually measured by slide caliper (fry) and by measuring plate (adult fish). The lenght of fish body (SL-standart lenght) was measured in millimeters and fish were weighted separately (W v g). In the year 2005, also scales were taken from individual fish for the age assesment. Obtained data were processed with regard to performed biomanipulation measures in individual sectores. Nine fish species and one hybrid were recorded by the monitoring with gillnets nets. The most numerous fish were juveniles and adults of rudd with SL 74 {--} 300 mm and the weight up to 618 g. The fish species with the strongest impact upon the pit ecosystem function is conitnuously the perch with the dominance of individuals with SL 46 to 337 mm and weight zup to 850 g.

How matching grants and their size affect behaviour and where
Caisl, Jakub ; Štika, Pavel (referee) ; Bauer, Michal (advisor)
In this work we focus on a large scale randomized field experiment described in Karlan & List(2007). Using direct mail solicitations to more than 50000 prior donors of a large U.S. non-profit organization, they examine the effects of matching grants on behaviour. They describe the effects of the matching grants in general, for the whole population, and find that matching grant size has no impact on behaviour. We use a different approach, dividing the population into subgroups by income and education and then measuring the effects of matching grant size on donating behaviour in these subgroups. We find significant heterogenity in the effects of grant size on behaviour. Also we try to apply the theory of social identity when interpreting the effects of matching grants.
