PROLOVÁ, Michaela
7. Summary Thanks to this bachelor{\crq}s thesis, I was forced to study all the required professional literature and I enlarged my knowledge in the sphere of the care for mental patients. It was very difficult for me to choose what is ``the most important{\crqq}. All the information I worked with were connected and made a whole. That is why I would like to get on with this theme also in the future as the topic of my diploma thesis. The executed tests results imply that the cooperation of the psychiatric facilities with the facilities of the community care is constantly getting better. Unfortunately, there is still no legal status in our country, which would enable a noticeable change in the system of the care for mental patients. Professionals from the sphere of the care for mental patients specified as the main difficulties of the community care: the problems with the financing of the community care, furthermore that there is a insufficient net and capacity of community centres and last but not least also the insufficient protection of the surroundings of the client in the case of his or her aggression. Professionals from the sphere of the care for mental patients specified as the main difficulties of the hospital treatment: stigmatisation, institutionalism, hospitalise and the lack of staff in regard to the capacity of the facility and also insufficient contact with patients as a consequence of the press of time, which is caused among others also by excessive paperwork. In conclusion, I would like to say that the basic of the change in the attitude to mental patients is the acquaintance, lifelong and especially further postgraduate education of psychiatric, psychological and psychotherapeutic specialists, appropriate legislation, emphasis on the quality of life, better cooperation and sequence of the system of the care for mental patients and the financial support of the state. Only this way can be facilitated the resocialization and integration of mental patients into the society.
