Odchov osiřelých hříbat
Janková, Anna
The aim of the work was find methods of rearing orphans. In the practical part, which is composed of interviews with bigger breeds and an evaluation of the results of the questionnaire, which was focused on smaller breeders, I found that in big breeds orphans almost absent, and if so, it does not happen, that they would have died. In smaller breeders orphans is more frequent, but the deaths of orphans is around 6%. Stud farms are better prepared for the possibility of orphans, they have in reserve frozen colostrum and they have the better possibility socialize foal in a group, which small breeders usually do not have this possibility. Orphans are of-ten used as standard like their peers and special considerations are not apply to them. However, these foals are affected after the social and often with them wor-sened handling. They often more identify with human, than horse species.
The influence of the quality of the colostrum on the growth and health of calves
BERÁNKOVÁ, Anna
Bachelor thesis presents a summary of the importance of colostrum, its composition and compared to mature milk. Colostrum contains important proteins that ensure the health status of the calf. Total protein in colostrum contains important life immunoglobulins, which are involved in immunity calves. For quality connection and future health of calves, you need timely connection quality colostrum and calf submit a corresponding amount. Another important stage in the life of the calf, contributing to good growth and health, the feed technique, which is described in the relevant literature review section. There is also characterized by the meaning and role of colostral immunoglobulin. The methodology applied by methods of measuring the quality of colostrum and measuring total protein in blood serum from calves. In my own research were processed by the information provided by the company VHD Hradiště. Here, the work was focused on the maternal calves and influences the quality of the colostrum to calves and further quantities of immunoglobulins absorbed into the bloodstream after connecting colostrum. Selected influences on the quality of colostrum, calves health and their weight are processed into tables and graphs. The results were no statistically significant differences.
Vliv mléčné užitkovosti a ročního období na kvalitu mleziva dojnic českého strakatého skotu ve vybraném podniku
Provazník, Jan
The purpose of diploma thesis was evaluate the effect of milk production an the season on the quality colostrum Czech fleckvieh cattle in a selected breeding. Between monitored parameters were included solids, active acidity, density, imunoglobulins content and refraction. Literary review was processed to the given problem. Viewed samples came from the farm Agrodružstvo Tištín. Samples were taken during the whole year (from 17. 4. 2014 to 18. 1. 2015). In this period has been taken 39 samples of colostrum, from selected cows. These cows were all on the second lactation. The measured values were statistically processed. The results indicate, that cows with high milk production have better quality of colostrum. Seasons affected the quality of colostrum. The cows, who gave birth in the autumn and winter, had colostrum quality. We found, that healthy cows had in colostrum more immunoglobulins and solids, during the assessing the health condition.
Influence of selected factors on the quality of colostrum and calves during milk nutrition
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Petra
The basis of every breeding is successful reproduction. Without quality care for cows during pregnancy and aftercare for cows and calfs the company can not prosper. There is a series of aspects that may have negative impact on the quality of the colostrum, which affects the viabilityof the calves. The aim of this work was to literary review the effects that have an impact on the quality of the colostrum and on the calves itselves during the colostrum nutrition and the lactic nutrition. Among the analyzed effects there were selected order of lactation, age at the first calving, level of productivity, season of born of the calf, length of the dry period and the process of bloody discharge. All the data used in this thesis was obtained from reports of registration of bovine animals and reports of productivity monitoring of the agricultural association Černovice from May 2013 to December 2014. The monitored group was made of 243 cows of Czech Pied cattle and 233 calves. The paper contains an evaluation of a quality (density) of the colostrum reviewed by order of lactation, age at the first calving, level of productivity, season of birth of the calf, length of the dry period, calving interval and bloody discharge, it also contains the correlations between lactation and the quality of the colostrum, the age at the first calving and the quality of the colostrum, level of productivity and the quality of the colostrum, the season of birth of the calf and the quality of the colostrum, the time of the dry period and the quality of the colostrum, the bloody discharge and the quality of the colostrum, the length of the interim period and the quality of the colostrum and the viability of calves and the quality of the colostrum.
Assessment of diarrheal problems by calves on selected dairy cattle farm.
POLÁČKOVÁ, Eva
The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the prevalence of diarrheal diseases in calves depending on the level of postnatal care of newborns on the selective dairy cattle farm. A total of 299 calving was evaluated on the farm in the period 2013 - 2015. The total mortality of calves was less than 7 %, in which mortality due to diarrheal diseases represented less than 3 %. The colostrum quality was assessed as excellent in 74%. Passive immunization, determined as the total protein content in the blood of calves, was performed in 72 % of the calves well. 60 % of calving happened in ideal hygienic conditions and diarrhea was found in 25 % of them. In contrast, diarrheal diseases were found in 65 % of calving in poor hygienic conditions.
Zásady optimálního odchovu hříbat
Volná, Šárka
The aim of this thesis is to describe the evolution of foals (until the age of two); their anatomy, as well as the state of their mental being. I will outline the behavior of the foal after the birth and the importance of colostrum. Since health plays an important role not only in life of foals, I will introduce some common diseases that can affect the foals, and I will explain not only how to cure them, but primarily how to prevent them. It is necessary to take a good care of foals even if they are completely healthyone should provide them with enough nutrition and vitamins, vaccinate them regularly and deprive them from warms. It is also crucial to train them so that, once mature, they do not surprise us with abundance of strength and energy. The major purpose of this thesis is to find out in what environment and condi-tions foals generally prosper the best.
Vybrané vlivy působící na tržní produkci klisního mléka
Hájková, Lucie
This bachelor's work is focused on selected influences which have impact to the market production mare's milk. Work consists of two parts. First part is theoretic. This part is focused on composition of mare's milk. Within this part there was made mare's milk sampling and analysis. This milk was milked from breed Hafling. This part includes also influences which impact market production mare's milk. Monitored effects were order of lactation, feeding dose, season and breed. Second part deals with own proposal of the farm construction with mare's milk production. This part describes buildings which will be part of farm, especially stalls for breeding animals, milking house for mare's milk production and other buildings which will be used within riding club. Further there is characterized livestock which will be breed at the farm with focus on its breed. At the end the offered services and price list of this service are described. Within proposal there were carried out survey in the village Drnovice. Twenty-one families with children were interviewed. Interest in mare's milk and products made of this milk was evaluated on the base of this questionnaire.
