The puppet and its influence on a child's personality development

The bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of puppet theater in the personal development of preschool child. The aim of the work is to find out which puppets preschool children prefer and what influences their choice - material, color, symmetry. The work examines childrens reactions to a particular type of puppet theater. The theoretical part defines the terms of the puppet theater, introduces readers to the puppet types, the historic context of the development of puppet theater. It deals with the developmental traits of preschool age children and using puppets as an educational resource. The practical part is a form of interview and observation investigated action puppets and puppet theater for children.
Adaptation of a Child to the Kindergarden

The aim of this thesis is to highlight the importance of the adaptation period of a child to the nursery school setting, in connection with the importance of the family background and the necessity of a close cooperation of families and nursery school staff. In the theoretical part the student focuses on the different factors influencing the child?s nursery school adaptation and their description. The attention is dedicated especially to education in the family, and particularly to the mother-child relationship. In the practical part the student describes the performance of several adaptation period case studies, carried out in her class-room, on 2 to 4 children. The single case studies include the observation of children?s behavior, the description of selected adaptation means and different strategies of nursery school-family cooperation in the period from the inscription of the child to the Nursery school (spring 2010) to January 2011. To complement the practical part of the thesis, the student carries out a survey among the parents, by the means of questionnaires, to find out how the nursery school adaptation process of the children runs in practice. That is to underline how important it is to base the theoretical concept of pre-school education mainly on work experience.
Leisure activities in the life of preschool children

This diploma thesis examines whether the term of spare time can be applied on everyday situations of preschool children and if so in what sense. It finds answers to the question whether there is such term as leisure time at preschool age. It is concerned with the meaning of leisure time during preschool years. It discovers ways to optimizing leisure time at preschool age while taking into consideration the developmental peculiarities of this age. It looks for ways of interconnecting leisure time pedagogy and pre-primary pedagogy where the author sees the possibilities of cooperation due to the great flowering of leisure time activities, growing population of preschoolers and developing knowledge of evolutionary psychology.
Healthy Life Style Education in Preschool Age

The purpose of this thesis is to offer a current picture of the pre-school education towards the healthy lifestyle at the nursery school and in the family. In the theoretical part of this thesis, the healthy lifestyle and its related concepts will be defined, the current lifestyle of the families and ist impacts upon the under school age child will be characterized and part sof the healthy lifestyle, its optima form and risks threatening its implementation will be defined. In the practical part of this thesis I will determine through the research survey how are the children beány led to the healthy lifestyle. On the basis of the results I will formulate my recommendations.
Children´s Magazine as a Medium for Pre-School Education

The Bachelor´s thesis ``Children´s Magazines as a Medium for Pre-School Education{\crq}q deals with the importance and contents of the magazines intended for children of the pre-school age. The attention is paid to contemporary and historical issues, which enabled me to have a more complex insight into the whole topic. The thesis is divided into two main parts, the theoretical and the practical one. In the theoretical part I focused on the definition of the concept of a pre-school magazine, on its position in the context of the other media, the traditional contents and the above-mentioned history and the present state. It is further referred to the positive and negative impacts of children´s magazines and the influence they have in the process of education. The practical part is closely connected to the theoretical part and it deals with the current research in contemporary families. By this research, I wanted to test the interest of parents in the children´s magazine as such and to evaluate the importance, which is attached to it. The topic of a children´s magazine is further analysed here in detail. I also mentioned the possibilities of preventing some negative impacts. In order to know the difficulties in creating a magazine intended for pre-school children, I created my own scheme of a magazine called ``Three Friends{\crq}q. Subsequently, I verified the applicability of my own concept with some pedagogical authorities in kindergartens.
Family education and free time

The theoretical part handle essential description of preschool child, importance of family and its function and education. Thinks of leisure time from perspective of educational action. The practical part is searching by questionnaire how each family members participate in education. And it shows what activities are offered to preschool child in its leisure time.
Influence of the toy on the game of pre-school children.

Bachelor work is concerned with influence of nature and man made toy on the game of children and realistic needs of toys to the games of pre-school children. Theoretical part contains characteristic of the game and toy, historical development of the toy and some present findings about its influence on the game of children. Object of interest of the practical part was observation of the game with usual toys and games with natural material, their evaluation and comparison. Primarily was judged the reaction to the change, cooperation, self-reliance and creativity of the children, aggressiveness in the group. Experiment and observation realized in two kindergartens showed positive influence on all these factors.
Action-Movie Hero in the Pre-School Childs Life

This thesis is divided into two parts {--} theoretic and practical. The theoretic part has three chapters. The first chapter puts mind to definition, evolution and effects of media, studies the television and film (their negatives and positives). The second chapter draws near pre-school child, some theories of TV influence and conditions increasing the risk of the negative effects. The third chapter is focused on the present TV offer, makes references to the Law on Broadcasting and some action films and heroes. The practical part brings the results of the research that collected the parents, teachers and children views on the present action hero. In the end is an advice as a solution for some situations, which were caused by watching the action films.
Development of drawing expresssion in pre-school age (case study)

The thesis is focused on the development of creative expression of pre-school children. It is particularly concerned with the developmental shift of the art display during one year. The theoretical part describes a pre-school period, the development of the child within the framework of each developmental field and especially within the art display. The practical part contains casuistry of two children, which is concentrated on the art display and its development. They are supplemented with the pictorial part containing the art works which were selected from spontaneous creation and created according to a given topic.
