Stability of salts and complexes of humic acids
Adsorption of metal ions on humic acids
Pokorná, Markéta ; Mgr. Martina Havelcová, Ph.D (referee) ; Klučáková, Martina (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis deals with humic acids and their ability to bind metal ions on their surface. Humic acids are generally aromatic polycyclic compounds, which contain phenolic and carboxylic functional groups on their sidechains. Because of their functional groups, they are able to form stable complex compounds. In this thesis, the adsorption of lead ions was studied by electroanalytical method called flow-through coulometry.
Study of humic and fullvic acids by excitation emission matrix method
Enev, Vojtěch ; Vala, Martin (referee) ; Fasurová, Naděžda (advisor)
A bachelor thesis was focused on fluorescence measurement by emission-excitation matrix method (EEM) and finding of the main fluorophores of soil humic and fulvic acids samples. The results of the position of the main peak of fulvic acid isolated from soil type Cambisol were compared and were similar to the position of Elliot soil FA standard II. For determining of secondary peaks of fulvic acids the synchronous method (3D SFS) at lower wavelengths was used.
Non-energy uses of lignite
Zedníčková, Petra ; Taraba, Boleslav (referee) ; Pekař, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the meaning of coal and it's utilize. It is especially concentrated on lignit and it's utilize out of energetic sector. Lignit constitudes geologicly youngest type of coal and belongs to caustobiolits , which is solid with various degree of coalification of original phytomasa. Degree of coalification is situated between peat and lignit. Lignit is characteristic by clearly well-kept structure of wood. Exactly this relative youth of lignit is reason for it's interesting qualitative indexes, in which belongs especially it's natural sorptive ability and quite high volume of humic acids. Both of these characteristics cohere together, because humic substances will certainly be main reason for sorptive characteristics. Coal, in comparing with other natural material, is by it's structure very complicated mixture of both organic and inorganic substances in various states of matter. It is matter of heterogenous system of macromolecules, which is structured of microscopicly distinguishable and chemically various substances. It can be composed of organic components or work as mineral admixture.
Diffusion of cupric ions in humic gel
Kalina, Michal ; Gregorová,, Eva (referee) ; Klučáková, Martina (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the study of non–stationary diffusion of copper (II) ions in humic gel. The objective of the study was to validate that the diffusion is influenced by the volume of cupric ions solution and by the length of tubes filled with humic gel. Diffusion was characterized by the value of diffusion flux and by the copper (II) ionic concentration profiles in humic gel. The data necessary for calculation were obtained by spectrophotometric measuring of the extracts of each slice after diffusion.
Kvalita humusu půd vybrané části Českomoravské vrchoviny
Pinteš, Lukáš
This bachelor thesis is focused on humus quality. They were samples taken from a chosen part of Českomoravská vrchovina, specifically from the Velkomeziříčský bioregion (16 locations). The samples were taken from Nové Město na Moravě and also northerly of the motorway D1 between Jihalva and Velké Meziříčí. The quality of humus was determined by the method Kononová-Bělčikova, which is based on fractionation of two, for humus typical substances, humic and fulvic acid. The thesis briefly introduces the soils as a whole and the causes of its origin. Furthermore, the work is focused on the organic fraction and its origin, meaning, composition and quality determination of humus. There are also characteristics of the area of interest, accompanied with some maps, processing soils samples, its evaluation and comparison of results with the neighbouring locations and literature.
