This bachelor thesis shall inform readers about basis types of heat exchangers used in power industry and their basis sorting. They are sorted not only from the point of view of their purpose and function, but also, from the point of view of their construction. Apart from that, there is a comparison of recuperative heat exchangers. Moreover, the thesis deals with possibilities to enhance their efficiency, possible problems in service and ways to solve these problems, maily with sedimentation and cleaning heat exchangers.

Solar heating tap water

The aim of this BA Thesis is to design a fully operational system for heating hot tap water and devise economical part of the project. The design includes correct specification of solar collector size with reference to the most effective collector turning angle. In addition to that, the Thesis focuses on evaluating the economic return, service life and future usage. It is also necessary to include operation of the device and running costs of components needed for the smooth operation of this system. The solar system design is intended for a single family house in Rousínov, Vyškov District, South Moravian Region. The Thesis was written with the contribution of the companies which are specialists in this field.

Solar heating swimming-bath water

In this bachelor´s work I engage in problems and concept of solar system for preparing heating swimming-bath water. For heating – up has been used a bivalent system complemented by electric heating inlet. The calculation has been intent on concept of collector area size and balance of energy systém.
