Breeder and economic evaluation of beef cattle rearing

This dissertation deals with the issue of breeding and economic evaluation of beef cattle within the company 'Zemědělské družstvo Krásná Hora nad Vltavou a.s.' between 2009 and 2010. The goal of this work is to evaluate the breeding standard of Blonde d' Aquitaine livestock breed in the above-mentioned company's breeding barns in Vysoký Chlumec, Obděnice, Skrýšov, Hojšín and Narysov. The results show that the profitability of beef cattle breeding is possible only on condition of subsidies and significant wages and overhead costs lowering.

Financial analysis in chosen company

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the financial analysis in chosen company. The theoretical part focuses on importance of financial analysis for evaluation of the company, defines methods of financial analysis, its users, folders and pointers. The analytic part is aimed at evaluation of financial pointers in the light of commercial expansion efficiency and management efficiency. The progress of financial position is evaluated on vertical analysis and horizontal analysis basis, while single pointers are compared with ratio pointers calculated for the same industry the company addicts to. These ratio pointers are calculated in the area of profitability, activity, insolvency, solidity and market efficiency. In conclusion the work suggests particular precautions to eliminate or to reduce some of negative effects, which were detected during the financial analysis.

Efficiency of factors of production in a company

The main aim of my work is to evaluate possibilities and the importance of monitoring of the efficiency of production factors. It requires to describe factors that influence the efficiency and to evaluate the impact on the economic results of a company. The practical part is focused on the calculation and analysis of the labour productivity, the profitability and activity indices of a given company from the region of South Bohemia in the period of five years and possibly to suggest measures to increase the efficiency of factors of production in the observed company.

Economy of Chosen Subject in Selected South Bohemian Region Aimed at Labour Productivity

The Authoress of this bachelor work (thesis) is dealing with assessing economical situation of the celected company aimed at labour productivity. As first terms are theoretically defined which are connected with information sources for assessment of the economical situation and for assessment of the labour productivity. After that separate areas of financial analysis are examined in detail (such as profitability, activity, insolvency and liquidity) and of labour productivity are axamined in detail (productivity per man, added value per man, exit per costs paid and added value per costs paid). Obtained data refer to problems of company at what should be located. There are problems with long time of payment falls due, refundment of company´s assets and low values of Labour Productivity.

Company profit and the factors influencing its growth

This Bachelor theses is focusing on the company profit and the factors influencing its growth in one of the selected company in the South Bohemian region. The theoretical part consists of the summary of the theoretical knowledge of profit, its basic functions and usage in the company. Explanation of economic expressions, structure and interpretation of each indicator will be found here as well. The analysis of development of the economic profit was measured during the period of three years and the evaluation of the overall development of the mentioned company (Ltd) was done based on the analysis Du Pont with the purpose to disclose the links of indicators that influence the modification of value of the indicator of profitability. The economic situation of the mentioned company was evaluated based on this analysis and the proposal of how to ensure a more effective financial management, was submitted to this company.

The Financial analysis of bank customer

The aim of my dissertation named Financial analysis of a bank client is to judge financial health of the company Alfa, v.o.s. This company deals with windows, doors and floor covering sale and mounting. Financial analysis is made upon credit request of the company. The firm demands an investment credit of 16 billion CZK for new sale store. In the first part of my thesis I executed financial analysis by means of method of relative indicators as liquidity, profitability, indebtedness and activity. I processed the outcomes in three accounting periods on the basis of submitted financial statements. I had tax statements p.a. 2005 and 2006, 2007 only preliminary. Preliminary means that the final accounts are not complete and the tax report has not been declared yet. The final statements might so be different from these submitted. In the next part of my thesis I created horizontal analysis of profit and loss statement and balance sheet and vertical analysis of both these statements. Horizontal analysis known also as trend analysis compares indicator changes in a time line. We consider here absolute value changes and also percentage changes of single items of the statements. In vertical analysis single components of the statements are expressed as a percentual part of one of these components. We work in separated years from top to bottom, never across years. As the basis we take total assets value. This analysis does not depend on inflation and allows comparability of trends in more years, that is its advantage. I also discussed outcomes of these analyses. The last part of my thesis is financial analysis from the point of view of the bank, which is requested to grant a credit. Each bank uses different methods and programs to detect investigate the financial health of the firm. In Voksbank CZ a program assumed from maternal OVAG Voksbank International AG is used {--} VB Raiting. This rating divides in two parts. One is Hard facts, which is quantitative analysis. Bank works with relative indicators such as: credit attendance, capital structure, receivables turnover index, margin of profit, liquidity and interest coverage. Second part of the rating are so called Soft facts, that is qualitative criteria of the fir, for example management quality, market position, supplier-customer relationships etc. These two parts divide clients into classes of the rating scale and in consideration of these outcomes the bank negotiates details and terms of the credit with the client. Worse rating increases interest margin of the bank or increases necessity of covering the credit. I describe also standardized investment credit conditions and the credit obtaining procedure in this part. In summary I described agreement methods between the bank and the client and terms of extended loan.

Financial analyse of choice company

This Bachelor thesis is focused on assessment of a financial situation of a company in the period between 2001 {--} 2005 using the indicators of the financial analysis. This thesis describes theory and concepts directly related to the financial analysis and introduces different methods of the financial analysis. The financial situation has been analysed in two stages under the conditions of a specific limited liability company. In the first stage the assessment of the company's development has been carried out on the base of Du Pont analysis, with an objective to display objective links between values of single causal indicators that affect the change of a value of the profitability indicator. In the second stage indicators, which were not included in the Du Pont analysis, but are normally used in the financial analysis were calculated. The financial situation of the company has been assessed on the basis of obtained data.

The Economic Estimation of Animal Production at the Agricultural Company

The aim of the dissertation is the estimation of the profitability of cows breeding, keeping without market milk production at the agricultural company that farming in the marginal area. The agricultural company is farming in the southwest Bohemia, covering all agriculture land belonging to LFA area. This dissertation evaluates whole management of the cows breeding and the economic results at the years 2006 and 2007. The average status at the farm was 230 cows at 2006 and increment to 265 cows at 2007. The main factors affecting economic results of breeding cows keeping without market milk production are: fertility of cows, losses of calves, longevity of cows, optimum organization of breeding, price of the sale cattle and supports from EU and national subsidies. The results of the diploma thesis is, that the breeding cows keeping without market milk production is without supports from EU and national subsidies unprofitable, for attainment gain without supports from EU and national subsidies is important to decrease costs.

The content of this bachelor thesis is to undertake a financial analysis of COM-TIP,s.r.o. for the years 2007 and 2008. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the financial analysis in general, its object and purpose, sources of information, users, methods and individual indicators. This theoretical knowledge is applied on particular company COM-TIP, s.r.o. in practical part, which provides an analysis of accounts, indicators of profitability, liquidity and solvency. Finally, I appraise the financial health of the firm based on scoring model. The conclusion summarizes all information obtained as evaluating the overall financial situation.

The aim of this work is to acquaint the reader with the company's financial situation, which is among the most successful in the East Bohemia. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part briefly introduces the methods used by financial analysis, while in the practical part are included company's details and the whole analysis over four years (2005-2008).
