Financial analysis as a tool for asset and capital management

The analytical section of the thesis applies selected financial indicators to interpret the financial situation of the constructional company Hochtief CZ.

Application of an Operating and Financial Leverage in connection to a Different Indebtedness of the Particular Companies

This Bachelor thesis is focused on applying an Operating and Financial Leverage in connection to a different indebtedness of the particular companies. The first part of my thesis shortly describes a financial analysis, financial data sources and financial analysis methods. It especially deals with Operating, Financial and Total Leverage. An indebtedness and debt financing are also mentioned. In the second part of this thesis I analyse an evolution of chosen indicators to voice certain conclusions. The selected methods are applied to 100 agricultural firms during the period from 2007 to 2008.

financial analysis of insurance

The aim of this work was to completed the financial analasys a converted into a profesion, among the chosen insurance services. In my study there were rated the three biggest insurance companies in the Czech republic {--} Česká pojišťovna, Kooperativa and Allianz. The evaulation of these insurance companies was set on a rating of specific indicators of financial health. The valuable data was drawn from the Annual report of each insurance company. The main source of data was mostly the financial balance sheet and the income statement of each company. There was confirmed that the leader is Česká pojišťovna in the final rating. The second biggest insurance company Kooperativa has shown many worse indicators in financial balance than the third company Allianz. But finaly I must say, that all rated companies have very good financial management as well as very stable status on the market.

Economical efficiency of integrated farming

In the work are analyzed the most important differences in plant production as well as in single system of farming. There is determined their effect on variability costs in farming. The work evaluates differences between yields of selected commodities with respect to system of farming and factors, which can the results change. There are the variability costs on the area and a value of rent ability determined with regard to standard farming technologies in every farming system. The profit on area is demonstrated in reference to redemption price of the year. The study is concerned with SWOT analysis of integrate way of farming. There are determinate the strong and weak sides in plant farming, able occasions and threats. The strategies to the future are discussed. The aim of this work is the comparison of economic effectiveness of selected commodities in different agriculture systems. It is concentrated first of all on evaluation of differences between yields of commodities in confrontation to system of farming and factors changing the yields. Secondly, the high and the structure of variability costs to production of selected commodities, the price differences between conventional and organic farming and the evaluation of economic effectiveness selected commodities is studied.

Furthermore, the position expressed by the company against competitors, and some reputable and bankruptcy models.

Financial analyse of choice company

This Bachelor thesis is focused on analysing assessment of a financial situation of a chosen company, during the period from 2006 to 2007 using the indicators of the financial analysis. The company is then compared to other companies. In my thesis I described the definition of a financial analysis of a company, sources of data for a financial analysis, such as balance sheet and the statement of earnings, and I also introduced different methods of the financial analysis. I only used the common indicators. I applied the created methodology in practical situation to verify the functionality. I analysed the collected data and assessed the economic situation of the company.

The picked company is The Transport Undertaking Company of the town České Budějovice, for comapring his economics with the private sector.This labour contained the literary recherche, 2 SWOT analysis and the part which is dealing with the concrete economy of the both objects, the differences in them and in the opportunities their comparing {--} the exploitation of the analysis indebtedness, the profitability, the activities and the financial tests.
