Development of mobile flowmeter
DITRICH, Vít
This thesis contains the description of well-known methods and principles dealing with the measurement of the flow-velocity of fluids. Furthermore, it contains the description of the development of the mobile flow-meter, including the realization and the technical description of the device. The thesis describes the advantages and disadvantages of the above mentioned flow-meter. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to the calibration of the device and to the possible practical use of the flow-meter.
Climatic parameters during the winter housed sheep
ŠKOPEK, Zdeněk
The topic of the bachelor work is concentraded on the assessment of influence of microclimatic parameters during the winter housed sheep. Measure the basic microclimatic parameters monitored in the barn and basic utility properties of the animals. Study group consists of three breeds of sheep, which considers the effect of measured values on their performance. A subsequent comparison of the breeds themselves.
Factors influencing the escape and spread of harmful substances
TESAŘ, Martin
Currently, harmful substances are released to the air more often and they threaten the safety of people because of their increasing amount being operated, stored and transported in the Czech Republic. The present thread is that the disasters in which harmful substances are released do not occur sporadically. Unintentional release may appear during their treatment, storage or transportation for many reasons, especially due to a natural disaster, technical cause or human failure. New causes of release have occurred recently {--} malicious intent and terrorist attack. This thesis creates a complex view of the branches of science and other areas dealing with the spread of harmful substances in the air. Emission of harmful substances is influenced by many factors which are very difficult or sometimes impossible to model mathematically. There exist a lot of mathematical models which differ according to the factor they treat. They concern models of outflow, dispersion and evaporation. The fire brigade in České Budějovice uses only one calculation model for estimating the emission of harmful substances - model ROZEX 2001.The result of this thesis may be used as a model for analysis and assessment of harmful substance release.
Fluidická oscilátorová ústrojí založená na „Aerodynamickém Paradoxu“
Tesař, Václav
Discussed unusual flow-induced oscillation mechanism is based on an old but nearly forgotten phenomenon contradicting simple logic (motion opposing the direction of incoming flow). The author proposed using this mechanism in a number of interesting fluidic devices. The paper concentrates on observed existence of two different vibration regimes and the fact that the transition between these regimes exhibits a local maximum of Strouhal number Sh.
Tlakem poháněná mikrofluidika
Tesař, Václav
Microfluidics is a new field of fluid flow generation and control at small scales, making possible fundamental changes in some engineering and biomedical fields. Particular advantages bring devices operating without moving parts – but at the usually small Reynolds number it is difficult to use jet inertia, upon which no-moving-part fluidics is based. The paper presents, on an example, a solution: flow assisted - or downright driven - by applied pressure difference.
Mechano/fluidická zařízení využívající „aerodynamický paradox“
Tesař, Václav
A mechanism of aerodynamically excited vibration of a movable or elastic solid body was investigated and suggested for use in a number of fluidic (or mechano/fluidic) devices. The vibration is based on a phenomenon little known and so far practically not used, despite of its very old history. The effect leads to an alternatingdirection of a fluid force acting a movable object exposed to fluid flow. One of the directions is interesting: it is the very opposite to what an uninitiated observer may expect. Early investigations of this "paradox" by the present author in 1971 became recently of renewed interest because of the possible topical use in biosensors.
Fluid flow along the airfoil at high Reynolds numbers solved by means of the finite element method
Damašek, Alexandr ; Burda, Pavel
The paper deals with solution of Navier-Stokes equations for higher Reynolds numbers using the SUPG method. Results are shown on an example of fluid along the profile.
