Phosphate bond of foam filters and its influence on the technical properties

The theses deals with the preparation of phosphate binder. This binder provides not only high strength, but also high-heat resistance. The bond is made of acid phosphate and alumina. There should be substitute of alumina (Cr2O3) or the adition of its. The slurry was prepared according to the applicable procedures of Pyrotek. After this, the slurry was applied to the polyurethane foam, dried and kilned. The result is foam filter for aluminium casting.

Bachelor thesis consist of two parts. The aim of teoretical part is to explore possibilities of usage and properties of high volume fly ash concrete with 40 – 70 % cement replacement. To make an overview of development of strength, durability in various environments, reduction of heat evolution etc. The aim of the experimental part is to compare properties of various class concretes with various amount of fly ash.

Activation admixtures in concrete

The aim of my bachelor´s work is the summarization and focus on admixure concrete,and the active and inert admixure, which have some positive characteristies for fresh and hardened concrete. Theoretically, I tried to study the increase of their joining potential while this characteristic can be used by either chemici or mechnical way, their combination as well. I also Works on evaluetion of physically mechanical influence for fresh and hardened concrete that can up to 60 days old while the cement was partly substituted by admixure of different character.

Mechanická analýza lepeného spoje dřevo - uhlíková vlákna

This diploma thesis deals with a mechanical analysis of bonded joints between timber and carbon fibres. Bending, shear and compression tests were chosen to describe the bonded joint's behaviour. The experiments were filmed by cameras for further evaluation of relative deformation and relative shear deforation, a well as movement. The measured data were used for analysis of deformation and specimen behaviour, comparison of different wood types and specimen results, and numerical three-dimensional model compilation.

Porovnání pevnosti konstrukce stolů

The work deals with strength verification of individual table types. On the basis of the research we have selected four table designs (and consequently the method of construction drawings of tested samples) that have been tested in the Furniture testing laboratory. According to current standards, a horizontal durability test was conducted and subsequent detection of stiffness in the longitudinal and transverse directions. Functional dimensions were verified according to current standards. In conclusion a draft to improve the strength of the structure of tables was developed together with drawing documentation of the proposed solutions. The company which provided tables for testing considers using some of the proposed design changes to improve the production and increase the strength of tables.
