Zhodnocení kvality ejakulátu vybraných plemen psů

The theoretical part of the thesis on "Evaluation of semen quality selected breeds of dogs", provides a brief summary of available information obtained from literature dealing with dogs reproduction, anatomy male genital tract of the dog and basic laboratory techniques of animal semen analyzes. Practical work was focused on evaluating quantitative and qualitative parameters of ejaculate different breeds of dogs from the kennel Bohemia Alké. Was investigated primarily affect the order of collection, ages, body frame, time of day and length of the sampling collection itself on ejaculate volume, activity concentration, total sperm count and percentage of occurrence patomorfologických defects. Subscriptions ejaculate, macroscopic and microscopic evaluation was conducted in field conditions in the home where the dogs lived. To evaluate the percentage of damaged sperm pathomorphological were made morphological coatings, which were transported to the laboratory department reproduction of farm animals and the Institute of Animal Breeding, Faculty of Agronomy, Mendel University in Brno.

Vliv stájového mikroklimatu na vybrané kvalitativní a kvantitativní parametry ejakulátů plemenných býků

The aim of this diploma thesis The effect of stable microclimate on qualitative and quantitative parameters of ejaculates of breeding bulls, where the effect of stable envi-ronment and age on the volume, concentration, activity and changes in morphology of sperm in ejaculates of bulls was evaluated. In the period from 1st March to 31st August 2014, there were done 154 collections of semen from nine bulls of Czech Pied cattle lairaged at the insemination center of bulls operated by a breeder's cooperative Impuls in Bohdalec. Immediately after the collections macroscopic and microscopic examinations have been performed for all samples, which included determining the volume, con-centration and activity of sperm. After evaluation of morphological parameters of bovi-ne sperm the percentage of morphologically normal sperm and pathomorphological da-maged sperm were evaluated. There were observed changes on the head, acrosome, connecting part and flagellum. Our results show that the biggest effect on the qualitative and quantitative parameters of semen for breeding bulls has age, the temperature along with moisture, where the greatest differences in results were found for the extreme va-lues. A value of temperature - humidity index (THI) has negligable effect, where there were the smallest differences in the obtained samples.

Vliv chrómu na kvalitu ejakulátu a metabolismus sacharidů u plemenných kanců

Hánlová, P: Effect of chromium on semen quality and carbohydrate metabolism in bre-eding boars, Diploma Thesis MENDELU, Brno, 2015, s. 59 The aim of this thesis was to develop a literature search and experimentally de-termine the influence of mineral nutrition on boar semen quality. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first assesses the impact of the addition of chromium on semen qua-lity of breeding boars. The second part examines the influence of the addition of chro-mium on glucose and insulin levels in the blood of breeding boars. The experiment was conducted in Velké Meziříčí at the insemination center boars. The experiment consisted of 28 Duroc boars breed for 14 weeks. These boars were divided into 4 groups according to age balanced. In the control (n = 7) group (K), was chromium receiving 205 ug/kg/day. In the 1st group (n = 7) animals (CR1) was dose chromium even increased by 60.6 ug/kg compound feed for the second group (n = 7) boars (Cr2) of 121.2 ug/kg and 3. group (n = 7) boars (Cr3) was added chromi-um in an amount of 181.8 ug/kg compound feed. The addition of chromium to the semen quality of breeding boars too had a signifi-cant impact. During the first months of feeding chromium occurred in the control group to a decrease in ejaculate volume of 29 ml. In the group S3 during the experiment is bound to increase sperm concentration, but in the fourth taking under review decreased significantly compared to previous months. The difference between the third and fourth taking was 131.5 thousand/mm3. This difference is statistically insignificant, and could be caused by external influences or errors in nutrition. Sperm motility during certain months was below 70%. This ejaculate should not be used for insemination. In the second part of the experiment, the addition of the chromium significantly reduced glukose levels and insulin activity. The obtained results can not recommend feeding chromium breeding boars.

Bachelor thesis describes the sexual organs of chickens, the composition of semen and its properties, by the way of sampling and examination methods used to analyze qualitative indicators of the semen. Furthermore, the work deals with the morphological structure of the sperm and the impacts of potential abnormalities in sperm morphology to fertility of the cocks. In the following thesis will be acquired and subsequently processed results and conclusions of a systematic investigation of individual semen samples using investigative methods, focusing on pathologies in sperm morphology and frequency of thein occurrence.

In this bachelor thesis was described the reproductive system of a bull, hormonal regulation, sperm production and sperm, was also focused on the collection and sampling methods ejaculate. Work dealt with of studies of morphologically abnormal sperm and their influence on the fertility of bulls. At morphological defects been described primary and secondarily changed spermatozoa. Examination of native ejaculate was divided into microscopical, microbiological and special. At the end of this bachelor thesis was given the chapter on automated scoring systems ejaculates. Of those systems been described system for evaluating ejaculate CASA and flow cytometry.

Hodnocení kvalitativních parametrů ejakulátu psů

The dog has been accompanying men for eons, according to some literary sources the dog is the very first domesticated animal. My study included 152 dogs of 43 breeds. n total we had 408 ejaculates. We evaluated the proces of collection. Each ejaculate was evaluated on content, sperm count and motility of semen and morphological examination of semen.The evaluation of content and quality of ejaculate brought following average results. Time of ejaculation was 413,16 +- 168,66 seconds; the volume of ejaculate was 8,49 +- 6,51 ml; motility of semen 71,2 +- 16,8 %. There was approximately 69,1 +- 15,7 % of morphologically normal semen in the evaluated ejaculates. The results show, that you can expect quality ejaculate from middle sized sporting dogs. The dogs should be fed with a complete food mixture. The dog should be used for stud from the age of 2 years and in ideal conditions should not mate more often than once a week.

Hodnocení přežitelnosti spermií ovčáckých plemen psů

Bachelor work is targeted on evaluation of ejaculate quality of FCI I dogs. In this work there are described basic quality evaluation methods of ejaculate and special examination of ejaculate. We have special interested in sperm survival test. Practice part is dedicated to sperm activity in different number of sampling in five different solutions and evaluated in room temperature. There are also described different options how to elong ability to use dog sperm for insemination. Gathered data and their evaluation will be used for master's degree.

The bachelor thesis deals primarily classified shepherd dog breeds in FCI classification and becoming familiar with it, which breeds belong there. The main part of this paper is to describe the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the reproductive organs of the dog - male sperm and a description of their development, ejaculation and semen collection. In conclusion mentions the progress of macroscopic and microscopic examination of fresh semen. The thesis will be followed by master's thesis, which will include the results and conclusions obtained during the examination.
