Case Study of a physiotherapy treatment of a patient after total hip replacement
Havlíčková, Barbora ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Biskup, Šimon (referee)
The bachelor's thesis consists of two parts. The general part includes anatomy and kinesiology of the hip joint and also the topic of coxarthrosis as the most common reason for the total hip replacement surgery. An integral part of this part is the elaboration of a rehabilitation plan for patients undergoing such procedure. The practical part of the thesis is conceived a case study of a patient after total hip replacement because of coxarthrosis. Finally, the thesis includes the therapeutic outcome as the therapy efficiency is evaluated through the comparison of the input and output kinesiology analysis.
Gel polymer electrolytes with fire retardands
Veselkova, Iuliia ; Jahn, Michal (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This graduate work deals with the study and preparation of gel polymer electrolytes with flame retardants for lithium-ion batteries. The theoretical part describes the types of electrolytes, their features, benefits, how they differ and where they are used in detail. The basis of this section is gel electrolytes with flame retardants, to measure their electrical and electrochemical properties. The experimental part deals with the preparation of samples of gel electrolytes with different percentages of flame retardant, where varied species of flame retardants and measuring their electrical conductivity and potential windows. Impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and dynamic-analytical thermal analysis were selected as measuring methods.
Case study of patient with diadnosis of total hip replacement
Kumpoštová, Dana ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Jarošová, Hana (referee)
TOTAL HIPARHTROPLASY This bachelor's work represents implantation of total hip arthroplasty and immediate physiotherapy. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first (theoretical) part gets acquainted with hip joint, perspective of anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics. The second (practical) part describes casuistry of total hip arthroplaty. Keywords: hip joint, arthrosis, total endoprotesis, physiotherapy
Origins of vertebrate hematiopoiesis
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Bartůněk, Petr (advisor) ; Divoký, Vladimír (referee) ; Živný, Jan (referee)
(ENGLISH) Hematopoiesis is dependent on the actions of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). This process is tightly controlled through a complex array of extrinsic and intrinsic factors. Even though the hematopoiesis seems to be well conserved across the disparate vertebrate animals, erythroid and thrombocytic differentiation have changed during the evolution of mammals. Specifically, adult mammalian red blood cells have the unique feature of being enucleated, and mammalian thrombocytes are not individual cells, but fragments of megakaryocytes, instead. It is likely that these enhancements provided a survival advantage to early mammalian species; however, they also bring up the question of evolutionary origin of these cells that studied using zebrafish (Danio rerio) model. First, it was necessary to generate a toolbox of a recombinant cytokines and optimized culture media that allowed us to manipulate zebrafish hematopoietic cells ex vivo in liquid and clonal cultures. Interestingly, teleost species underwent an extra duplication event during their evolution and as a result, two copies (paralogs) of some of the genes are present in zebrafish. This was also the case for majority of the cytokines from our toolbox and here, we provide functional characterization of these paralogs. Strikingly, our results...
Evaluation of physiological parameters for clients at AAT
Poběrežský, Daniel ; Machová, Kristýna (advisor)
AAT influence on physiological functions - client's pressure and pulse. Tracking changes in these physiological factors over a period of three treatments with each client . Continuous data collection and evaluation.
Heart rate measurement
Jiřík, Ondřej ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This work deals with the measurement of heart rate parameters. One of the objectives of this work is a summary of methods for measuring heart rate, from which data can be derived heart rate and subsequently evaluated. Also deals with the accuracy of this parameter. It describes the basic characteristics of sensors and applicable in terms of sensitivity to movement. In the work is drawn design of a simple heart rate monitor with a range of 40-200 beats per minute. For the whole device is carried out by the proposal of the printed circuit board in EAGLE program.
Heart rate meter
Šeda, Jan ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the Bachelor thesis is summary of pulse measurement facilities. Heart pulse has been one of the basic measurable quantity in medical science for thousands of years. The basic quality of the given value is accuracy. The analyse of necessity of accuracy in methods for medical practice and diagnostic is the second point of the thesis. The third and most crucial point is heart pulse meter itself – it will be described in terms of mechanics, electrics and software. System based on optical measurement has been chosen in semestral project. Furthermore, accuracy of designed meter will be tested.
Reliability analysis of the hip joint endoprosthesis ceramic head
Málek, Michal ; Janíček, Přemysl (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with probability of fracture ceramic head of total hip endoprosthesis during tests by the standard ISO 7206-5. In the first part is made stress analysis with method of finite elements in program ANSYS. Six types of ceramic head with different geometry was analysed for ideal geometry of head and shaft, and also for shape imperfections from nominal conical shaft and head. The final values of principal stress from stress analysis were entry values for the second part – probability of fracture analysis. Weibull weakest-link theory was applied, namely 3-Parameter and 2-Parameter Weibull distribution.
Application of the Universal USB Module LabJack
PŘIBYL, Vojtěch
This thesis describes applications of general-purpose USB module LabJackTM. This thesis acquaints with individual measuring modules by LabJackTM Company. It describes the selected modules LabJack U12TM and LabJack U3-HVTM at great length. This thesis contains selected themes acceptable for the application with modules LabJackTM and selection and implementation of sensors usable in selected themes. In this thesis is the signal way through measuring chain from sensor of physical quantity to final signal evaluation through the software eSimLab in detail described, propounded, in practice implemented and checked by measurements.
Patient after total joint replacement Preoperative and postoperative education
CHMELAŘOVÁ, Zdeňka
This bachelor thesis deals with the patients? education in the pre- and post-operative period after their joint replacement. Currently, the number of total endoprosthesis (TEP) operations has increased rapidly. Also in this case the role of a nurse as an educator is uninterchangeable and without her it is difficult to imagine such a demanding operation. It is the nurse herself or himself who draws patient?s attention towards all the aspects concerning pre-hospitalization period, hospital treatment and private care after the patient has been released home. It is the nurse who has to establish a relation of trust between a patient and hospital staff. The aim of this thesis was to elaborate methodically the TEP patient?s education possibilities in the pre- and post-operative period and to judge its quality from the TEP patient?s point of view. By means of an experimental survey and by fulfilling its aim it has been found out that the TEP patient?s education in medical institutions takes place, nevertheless, it is not on a sufficiently high level.
