In the theoretical part it is mainly focused on the threshing unit as well as on the development of other units providing higher efficiency and performance. Practical part presents the methodology and results of the field-laboratory measurements with the aim to compare the activities of combine harvesters New Holland CX 8090 and New Holland CR 9080 in terms of loss, quality crushing and spreading of crop residues, fuel consumption and performance.
