Hodnocení kluznosti povrchových úprav dřevěného nábytku

The diploma thesis deals with slipperiness of wooden furniture surface finish especially for horizontal surfaces. The theoretical part discusses the factors affecting slipperiness and about the impact of slipperiness on furniture surfaces. The existing methods of measurements of slippering properties of flooring are analysed for potential measurements of slippering properties of furniture finishes. Existing methods are modified and carried out experimental measurements finishes of selected materials for production of wooden furniture in accredited testing laboratory. The main finding is which testing method is more appropriate for measuring of wooden surface of furniture and comparison of the results of experimental measurements.

The thesis deals with the most important milestones in his life and approaching that social ratios of the period which are directly linked with his work. The content is connected to Michaela Ježová`s bachelor thesis Creation of František Vrána in connection with The development of furniture industry in Brno.

Fenomén "retro" a jeho uplatnění v nábytkářské tvorbě

The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the meaning of the term "retro" and its influence on contemporary furniture and interior creation. The work describes the historical background for the inception of the various inspiring styles and the theoretical part describes used basic features, philosophy, materials, technologies and colouring of the specific period, including iconic products. Further, the thesis is looking for the application of these periods in today's furniture creation. The thesis also includes author's evaluation of the survey on popularity of retro style and her own design of the furniture object in this style.

This diploma thesis is focused on design of the exterior seating. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of thesis is focused on the seating in general. Exterior seating furniture, especially metal is mentioned in following chapters, which are more developed. Metals are mentioned in the next chapter. The theoretical part ends with a chapter of design, in which among other things, are described principles of design. In the practical part is first analyzed the suitability of the material selection and then is calculated maximum deflection of the most exposed parts. Furthermore, the work is focused on the proposal itself. The first is research of exterior furniture. The proposal is first created with the help of sketching, then it is created in 3D visualization and first models are created also.

The first part is the specified diagnosis of autism, symptoms of autism and other ancillary diagnoses. The second part discusses the general requirements for children's rooms, and the requirements for autistic children's rooms in terms of space, ergonomics, safety, hygiene, furniture and other elements according to their needs. The third analytical part is focused on the present children's rooms and the needs of children with autism, using a questionnaire. The end is evaluates the applicability of the results obtained in practice.

The Bachelor Thesis monitors the differences in housing of three age groups. Among the important results are intergenerational differences, furniture satisfaction and the duration of its use. The survey closely deals with selected furniture fragments.. The thesis also describes the historical development and the current status. The sociology of the family, housing, colors, lighting and the differences between urban and rural housing issues are also mentioned. The goal of thesis is to compare particular ganges in housing, mainly by technical and technological possibilities, economic effects and the state of society.

This thesis is focused on the analysis of consumer behaviour in the market for household furniture. The aim is to identify the process of decision making during shopping, determine the consumers' decision making key criteria, define the type of the stores consumers select the most and ascertain the views on satisfaction with market supply. The first part of the thesis is theoretical. It describes marketing, consumers' behaviour and the factors that affect them, how they make decisions and also their typology. The thesis also deals with marketing research and processes it includes. Own part of the work is processed on the basis of primary research, where the data were obtained by marketing research questionnaire. Most often the consumers select for their shopping large retailers. However, their decision is also based on previous experience and the visit to the store itself. The most important is visible price of the product for the consumer when selecting particular products.

FSC production on the Czech market

The aim of this diploma thesis was to analyze the current effects of FSC production on the Czech market. The analysis of certified products in the Czech Republic was performed from the perspective of consumers and companies. The first step was a short consumer survey, which was distributed among respondents in electronic and paper versions. The main objective of this research was to measure awareness of FSC logo and its effects in the consumer choice process. The second part of this research was dedicated to companies producing or selling certified furniture. The field research was conducted among selected stores situated in České Budějovice.
