VENKRBCOVÁ, Klára
Abstract Media and their content have been subject to research since the time of their origin. A lot of scientists deal with their influence on formation of a human and the society. The term media is being discussed very frequently nowadays. Sociologists, psychologists, politicians as well as journalists often write and speak about media in various contexts. Mass media play a unique and irreplaceable role in providing social coherence in the modern society; they support power allocation and social communication. Evaluation of mass media roles differ according to what these roles bring to individuals and to the society, because what we can evaluate from one view as desirable may be seen undesirable from another view. Mass media serve to maintenance and stability of democratic society and they support the existing power allocation. Most of everyday communication is interpersonal or in a group, which means that it is tightly fixed in the situational and cultural context. Our existence in the society is not only determined geographically, but mainly in the sense of cultural behaviour patterns and conventions and certain social relations. Communication with the public at the time of the solution crisis situation
SALÁTOVÁ, Renata
Life on our planet does not exist without risks. Nobody is protected against extraordinary events and crisis situations. Except for enormous traffic accidents and natural disasters such as floods, fires, windstorms, landslides and avalanches there are also probable accidents with leakage of dangerous chemical substances in the Czech Republic. Above listed probable situations require immediate reaction and in many cases their solution raises the need of communication with public. In the Czech Republic there was for this purpose created a system of crisis management, which carries out prevention and correction of crisis situations and during crisis outbreak exercises specific procedures leading to reduction of crisis effect. Integral part of activities is the area of information flow (crisis communication) including informedness of general public. The result of above described activity is the plan of communication with public. With respect to the fact that no rule of law solves the content and structure of this document, my proposal results from accessible scientific literature, performed analysis of chosen municipalities and consultation with professionals on this topic. Information is the base of all events, however they are useless if the do not reach these who were they addressed to. That is why their transfer should play the main part when carrying out precautionary measures against extraordinary events and crisis situations as well as in the time of crisis situation solution.

PULCOVÁ, Klára
Eating disorders present very compelling health and social problems. These are psychological malfunctions which can have non-reversible health consequences. These days approximately five percent of namely young girls suffer with this type of malfunction, and according to research, this number constantly grows. Eating disorders are in direct relationship with misinterpreted (negative) self image, namely with non-adequate perception of one{\crq}s own body. The research goal of this work was to map questions of body image towards the relationship to eating disorders and find out possible common or different signs in self evaluation of girls who did not suffer from eating disorders. The work is conceived as explorative research combining components of quality and quantity research. Used in both forms of research a methodology of interviews {--} in the quality part there was used the technique of half-standardised interviews, and in the quantity, the questionnaire technique. The target group was girls who suffered from a serious eating disorder. In the quantity part, the target group was girls between the age 14-25. The research took place in elementary and grammar schools and colleges in České Budějovice. Based on the quality research, the hypothesis of body image was framed in the ages of 14-25 years old. Based on the quantity research, general positive assessment with self appearance without view to the age was found, but also was found dissatisfaction - not so essential in girls with an eating disorder. This work was supposed to lead to increasing of awareness regarding given questions of both non-professional and professional public. I would recommend to increase awareness, not only in consequences of these disorders, but also regarding the long-term ineffectiveness and health wake of inadequate weight-loss methods in both elementary and grammar schools, due to the fact that this is the time most essential for the origin of eating disorders.
