Variant solutions of investment decision

This thesis focuses besides basic description of investments and its evaluation also on approaches to investor´s decision making and introduction of the most widely used methods of evaluation, variant solutions and financial analysis. Practical part of this thesis is based on the case of concrete investment and its evaluation using economic indicators such as NPV, IRR and repayment time as well as sensitivity analysis.

Feasibility studies of constructional investment projects and investment project cycle

The topic of this thesis is the evaluation of investment efficienty in enterprises. First section summarizes common knowledge related to investments process and states methods used for analysis of investments efficienty. Second part evaluates economic efficienty of investments planned and implemented in the particular enterprise. The main sources for these data was the enterprise environment itself. Also factual and financial pros and cons of investment plannig are taken into consideration in this part of thesis, as well as financial assessment of particular investment having been contributed to the housing reconstuction. The thesis also analyses ways of financing and portfolio selection in view of the most considerable impacts on the final investment project efficienty.

The utilization of different sources of finance in company investment policy

The aim of this final work was to analyse a company´s investment decision while considering the possibility of using different financial sources and on the basis of the analysis to choose the most advantageous financing alternative of the chosen investment. The discounted costs method was applied to the relevant calculations to sum up the investment efficiency, which was acquisite of different financial sources. The substance of that method is particular options comparing in term of their total costs of investments and discounted operating costs for the whole service life. The most of the companys´ investment decisions aim is the financing sources security with the minimum average capital costs.

In my work I deal at first with the theoretical part, in which related concepts, such as the investment, the investment decision in the limited capital conditions, the capital project, are generally characterized. Further I attend in more detail to the most used methods of rating the investment efficiency. On this part connect closely the practical part, in which I sum the concrete capital project up.

In fourth chapter I'm writing about sorts of investments and financial sources in praxis in company Skiareál a.s. There is analysis of the biggest investments of the company and there are plans of future development

The thesis works on the evaluation of residential development project. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate profitability and risks of the project. There are calculation of incomes and costs, financial plan, evaluation of profitability and risks of the project in the analytical part of the thesis. Evaluation is made by both dynamic and static methods.

My paper engages in investment decision of company, shows the connection with microeconomic and macroeconomic area, that is important to be respected in this kind of decision. With using of concrete methods of valuation ilustrates how to proceed.

Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem zahrnutí flexibility rozhodování do hodnoty investičních projektů. Popisuje reálně opční metodu hodnocení investic. Práce nejprve shrnuje teoretické poznatky finančních a reálných opcí, poté se zaměřuje na způsoby implementace metody reálných opcí do firemního rozhodování. Aplikační část je zaměřena na vyčíslení hodnoty opce čekání na základě rozdílných hodnot NPV včetně postupu, kterým je mozné určit hodnotu flexibility již v předinvestiční fázi.

Cílem práce je hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti projektu výroby Corey Alkoholu ve firmě Cayman Pharma. Práce si klade za cíl vybrat ze tří resp. čtyř dostupných metod výroby Corey Alkoholu metodu takovou, která zajistí výrobu požadovaného množství Corey Alkoholu při minimální současné hodnotě nákladů a při rozumné míře rizika s ní spojeného. Cílem práce je tedy zvolení a doporučení jedné metody (jedné varianty projektu) k realizaci.
