Teaching geometry at primary school using computer, concretely dynamic geometry system - GeoGebra
LINTNEROVÁ, Linda
The diploma thesis consist of three parts. The first part is composed of theory of geometry, sumary basic geometrical concepts in subject-matter for elementary school, situate Math to educate programme and importance teaching with computer today. The second part I wrote as manual referenc book for teacher, who will teach according to my material. Last part describe experiment, which I make in 4. class of basic school. The third part describes pupils work witk programmes SMART Notebook and GeoGebra.
Solving of geometrical problems and mosaics on primary school level
FANTOVÁ, Šárka
This thesis deals with the learning environment of Mosaic and its impact on motivation and geometrical imagination of children of primary school. Fundamental task of this thesis is to describe and adjudicate individual teaching lessons of experimental teaching during which Mosaics were used. Conditions for natural differentiation of children were used during these lessons. Concepts related to the goal of this thesis and to the geometry on primary school level are described in part "Foundations of thesis task solution". Different types of Mosaics and puzzles are dealt with in part "Mosaics and construction kits - methodological foundations". "Methods used to solve the thesis task" forms the conclusion of this part. The practical part contains description of processing of experimental teaching and its analysis. Children works are presented here as well.
Heronian triangles
DOHNALOVÁ, Alice
Work includes choosen properties and problems pair with Heronian triangles. It's available like mathematical utility for work in special-interest mathematics on secondary school.
Geometric - morphometric study of gastropod shells \kur{Hexaplex trunculus} from Croatian coast line of the Adriatic sea
MACÍK, Jiří
The shape variability of three hundred shells of sea snail Hexaplex trunculus (Linné, 1758) of three sites of Croatian coast line was compared. No criteria were found for distinguishing among males, females and imposex disabled females by traditional morphometry. With the help of traditional morphometry and geometric morphometry, differences in the shape of shells among the three investigated populations were identified. On the shells of H. Trunculus, there were found moderate sexual differences using the geometric-morphometric methods. The results separated females from the remaining two categories (males and masculinized females).
A textbook of special tasks for mathematics at elementary school
BABÁKOVÁ, Veronika
The main purpose of this work is creation a helpful material for teachers at elementary school, where they could find the parting of the special tasks with an inspiration for math education in accordance with National school curriculum. The whole graduation theses is devided into three main parts. The first part is theoretical and contains the main ideas od National school curriculum, math textbook analyse and a part of mathematical competitions. The second part is special tasks classification with display of some pupils´solutions. The last part of the graduation theses is a textbook of special tasks.
Creating a methodical paper for using Geonext
KUBŮ, Lucie
The diploma thesis consists of four parts. The first part is theoretical and focuses on the use of PC in Math lessons, generally lessons in PC laboratory and the PC facilities of Czech schools. The second part of the thesis focuses on the Geonext programme which I have selected for its lucidity and simplicity in using the programme. Third part of the thesis describes a microexperiment, which I have conducted in 6th class of Grammar school. Exercises produced in the Geonext programme were used in this microexperiment. Exercises, which I have worked up in the Geonext programme, but did not use in the microexperiment, are described in the last part of the thesis.
Representational envinonments for plane transformations
Roubíček, Filip
The paper includes some illustrations of representational environments suitable for teaching of plane transformations in lower secondary school, namely reflection, rotation, and translation. It deals with properties of transformations, composition of reflections, and in particular various forms of modelling: reflecting, pinking, tracing, printing, and patterning.
Helmholz’s considerations on the foundations of geometry
Sousedík, Prokop
The author shows how one of the key founders of positivism, H. von Helmholtz, dealt with the discovery of non-Euclidean geometries.
H. Poincaré - New considerations on the foundations of geometry
Sousedík, Prokop
The author discusses the foundations of geometry in the period after the discovery of non-Euclidean geometries. It focuses mainly on the contribution of the French philosopher and mathematician H. Poincaré.
