Proudění uvnitř idealizované městské zástavbě
Bezpalcová, Klára ; Harms, F. ; Leitl, B. ; Jaňour, Zbyněk
The regular obstacle array of the Mock Urban Setting Test (MUST) fiedl site in the Utah West Desert (USA) has been replicated in the large boundary layer wind tunnel at University of Hamburg. The trials run during the field campaign were repeated in the wind tunnel as well as additional measurements of flow. The strong flow inhomogeneities were observed on the vertical profiles of shear stress as well as on the horizontal mean flow for different array orientation.
Výzkum turbulance pomocí metod pro analýzu dynamických systémů
Uruba, Václav
Turbulence represent itself very important and common behaviour of real fluids. It is usually treated using special methods based on probabilistic approach. In the presented study methods originally developed for chaotic dynamical systems are applied to turbulent fluids. Problem of the continuous system discretization to develop phase space is analyzed in details.
Coherence analysis of turbulent signals
Uruba, Václav
A method of decomposition of turbulent time series into coherent and non-coherent parts is presented and demonstrated.
Flow field behind a deformed screen
Uruba, Václav
The results of experimental investigation of the flow behind a "S" shaped screen are shown.
Qualitative analysis of HW anemometer signals from experiments in a steam turbine
Uruba, Václav ; Jonáš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Řehák, Vratislav
A few results from experiments on a 220 MW full scale steam turbine obtained using a hot-wire anemometer are shown.
Air pollution model development for complex terrain and it´s application to KRNAP
Jaňour, Zbyněk ; Bílek, V. ; Holpuch, J. ; Kozel, K.
A sopfisticated eulerian dispersion model consisting on numerical solution of flow and diffusion equations on limit area is introduced. The model is applied to the Giant Mountains.
Intermittency analysis in a jet-cross-flow interactions
Uruba, Václav ; Mazur, Oton ; Jonáš, Pavel
The intermittency analysis of the jet in cross-flow mixing zone is presented. Both jet in the nozzle orifice and inciming cross-flow were low-turbulent. The modified TERA method was adopted to distinguish laminar-turbulent local nature of the signal.
Separation in high speed internal flows
Dvořák, Rudolf
Transonic separated flow in a highly curved closed channel has been analyzed on the basis of surface streamline visualization, as well as on optical and pressure measurements.
Vyšetřování turbulentních fluktuací parametrů proudění v aerodynamickém tunelu laboratoře aerodynamiky vysokých rychlostí VZLÚ /T 462/00/
Jonáš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Řehák, Vratislav ; Uruba, Václav
Turbulence features were investigated by means of a hot-wire anemometer in the working section at Mach numbers from 0.4 up to 0.8.
4th periodic progress report - implementation and further application of refined transition prediction methods for turbomachinery and other aerodynamics flows /Z 1292/00/
Jonáš, Pavel
In the report it is presented a summary of results received in the framework of TRANSPRETURB Network in the period from March 2000 up to August 2000.
