Internet support for the physical practice in mechanics
KOVAŘÍK, Petr
The thesis consists of 80 pages, 6 pages of enclosure and a CD with web pages. Thesis focuses on computer support for the practice of physical mechanics. Its purpose is to document each measurement, which are implemented in practice, to propose some new measurement, to clarify the basic principles for data processing and writing protocols and materials found on the internet, which could help students both in preparation and during the actual measurements in practice.
Preparation of a presentation for popularisation of computer physics - area of computer simulations
HARVALÍK, Jaroslav
The purpose of the submitted paper is to make the computerized physics more popular among the potential university/college students, namely in the areas of the simulation. Simultaneously, that work is intended to act as explanatory notes of the additional presenation which is composed under the same purpose as the above mentioned paper. It contains the basical terms of the computerized physics. Moreover, the overview of programs for creation of models and simulations as well as resulting examples have been included. Finally, the areas of the computerized simulations are listed, accompanied by the synoptic examples.
Physical practicum - electronic support of education
GRILL, František
This thesis is concerned with promoting physical education practicum course. The first section describes the basic knowledge, skills and detailed instructions for creating and processing of measurement reports. The second part is divided into the different roles of physics - Mechanics and thermodynamics, Electricity and magnetism, Oscillations, waves and optics, Electronics, Atomic physics and Special measurements. The third section provides a brief description of the created web sites, their organization and content.
Ernst Mach, his Prague physics students and their careers
Těšínská, Emilie
Based on archives, written memoirs and literature on history of science, the paper describes the teaching and research activities of physicist and philosopher Ernst Mach (1838-1916) during his stay in Prague in 1867-1895 within a broader frame of physics at Prague University of that time. Mach´s engagement in the Prague (German) Naturhistorical Association „Lotos“ is mentioned as well. The professional carriers of some of Mach’s Prague university students and assistant are included.
The use of fibre spectrometers in the natural sciences
Oupický, Pavel
This artical informs briefly about fibre spectrometers and about their using in the physics, meteorology and in the botany by the measuring of sun radiation and its reflexion with plants.
Photophysical processes involved in a photosynthetic conversion of the excitation energy in the biochemically exploitable form
Roháček, Karel
Tuitional text for participants in a practical course in physics of the project "Open science".
Proceedings
Lukáš, Jaromír
Summaries of 24 lectures presented at the fourth Joint Korean-Czech Symposium on Macromolecular Chemistry held in Prague in December 2002. The lectures concentrated not only on fundamental topics of macromolecular chemistry and physics but also on application of polymers in such areas as biomedicine, membrane separation, and photoelectronics.
Union of Czechoslovak Mathematicians and Physicists
Kábová, Hana
Inventory of the archival fond of the Union of Czechoslovak Mathematicians and Physicists covers documentation of the Union preserved in the ASCR Archives in 80 boxes and 2 card catalogues from 1872-1952. The material is very fragmentary as it is composed most of all only of the editory activities of the Union.
Bernard Bolzano and Paradoxes of Infinity
Fuchs, Eduard
The development of the nation of the infinity from the ancient sense of the potential and topical infinity to the infinity in the modern set theory is studied in the paper.
