Maps to PDA
ALMER, Vlastimil
This thesis deals with design and programming of applications designed to display maps and obtain GPS coordinates of objects on the map. The work describes methods for obtaining maps and GPS coordinates. The work includes design coordinate system, calculate the GPS position in the application of more accurateand the algorithm designed to display maps.
The usage of the .NET 3.0 and 3.5 technologies for web application development
Šmolík, Marek ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Skoupý, Radek (referee)
This thesis is focused primarily on a selection of technologies that are contained in the .NET platform of version 3.0 and version 3.5 and which can be used in web application development. These technologies are then presented both from the theoretical and practical point of view. Presented technologies include eg WCF or ADO.NET entity framework. The work is intended mainly for readers -- programmers but no prior knowledge of technologies named above is needed. The goal of the work is to familiarize readers with the benefits of these versions of .NET platform for their practice and to help them to realize if it is interesting for them and whether they could use it.
Practical usage of Entity Data Framework
Náprstek, Michal ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Burkoň, Lukáš (referee)
Object oriented programming together with relational databases is common technology used for SW products development. Both of these, however, have different understanding of the data concept. This poses a challenge to the developers in a way of securing data consistency of application data representation versus storage data representation. Due to this concern, there are tools for object-relational mapping, which are supposed to make developers' work more convenient. The topic of this thesis is one of these tools, the Entity framework by Microsoft company. And the goal being to present the specific concepts of object-relational mapping, which Entity framework employs, as well as to put these in practical use with a demo application utilizing Entity framework.
.NET & Cryptology
PSÍK, Tomáš
The point of this work is to show how to solve certain cryptographic problems in Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5. The work is divided into three parts. The first is an overview of basic classes and methods which can be used to solve particular cryptographic tasks. This part shows how to use these classes and also is an overview of the most common cryptological terminology also used in this work. The second part shows how to use abstract classes prepared in the framework for implementing an application interface, which unifies usage of all cryptographic transformations under .net. The third part is about deciding on quality of certain implemented cryptographic algorithm. Implementing speed testing application for block ciphers and hash function and it also contains references of basic attacks. Implementations of speed testing program, two block ciphers (Rijndael and Skipjack), all in c#, are listed in Appendix.
Controls inside WPF
LASAC, Jan
This publication deals with a new way of programming the applications for Windows and describes possibilities and advantages of this technology and its visual components. In the theoretic part we will get to know the model Windows Presentation Foundation and it will be made comparison with the older technology WinForms. In the practical part it will be created the library and then the audio-visual presentation which will show the procedure of the creation controls.
Animation inside WPF
GAŽÁK, Filip
The goal of the submitted thesis "Animation in Windows Presentation Foundation" is dealing with creation of graphics element and animation in model Windows Presentation Foundation. In the theoretic part is described architecture and the main advantages of model. In the practical part through examples and audiovisual presentation is explained creation of animation.
Web services support in the .NET framework
Fischer, Roman ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Máša, Michal (referee)
The work targets the very important part of service oriented architecture -- web services. It is focused at one of its practical implementation, from the Microsoft Corporation, especially in the last two releases of .NET Framework. The main target of this work is comprehensive summary and demonstration of Microsoft web services development. The principles of web services and their base in the .NET Framework are described here. At the beginning of this work the web services are put into the scope of service oriented architecture and their main principles are described. Subsequently the .NET Framework is explained with its main principles and with the comparison to the JAVA technology. This part is finished with the explanation of classic ASMX web services. The main part of this work focuses at detailed description of the theoretical and practical aspects of web services in the Windows Communication Foundation and the Windows Workflow Foundation context. Even the development of Windows Forms application is not left out, because they also have done a large progress and they are often consumers of web services. The options of securing web services in the .NET Framework are shown both theoretically and practically including authentication and authorization. The methods of transactional behavior are shown too. The work also focuses at the orchestration of web services including the explanation of workflows with the deployment example. At the end of the work there is revealed how to guarantee interoperability with other technologies, how to manage web services and how to ensure their versioning.
