In the scientific part of the work observations were made of changes to heart frequency measured by a Sporttester Polar Vantage Night Vision NV ? device and changes to the women?s mental state by means of standardised POMS and STAI questionnaires. In the final discussion the results are analysed and presented in the form of tables and charts. Application of the intervention program caused positive changes in both observed psychosomatic categories. It was discovered that during the yoga breathing exercises the heart frequency decreased and the nervous system became harmonised. The ascertained observations could be utilised in the field of prevention and health support.
