3D RECONSTRUCTION OF ABANDONED SETTLEMENTS OF THE CENTRAL POVLTAVÍ

3D reconstruction of abandoned settlements of the central Povltaví ABSTRACT This work deals with the use of Geoinformatic systems to create the three-dimensional model of an extinct landscape. The main subject of this bachelor work is the three-dimensional reconstruction of extinct municipalities in the central area of the Vltava River. The main task was to create digital terrain model of the original Vltava valley. The passage from Zvírotice to Svatojánské proudy has been chosen as the model territory. Two selected municipalities Zvírotice and Živohošť were thoroughly worked up. Many data sources were used in this work, such as historical photographs, historical aerial photographs or current orthophoto maps. Digital terrain models were created with the help of these datas and then the models were overlain with the orthophotos. 3D models of buildings and vegetation were put in the terrain models. Two periods were compared, 50th of the 20th century and present. Results of this work are fly-by animations and perspective scenes. The results will be used in newly built museum in Chotilsko town. Landscape memory in the memory of its inhabitants

This bachelor thesis on topic: The memories of the landscape in the memory of its inhabitants describes the landscape changes around Březnice over the last 70-80 years and the perception of the landscape changes addressed respondents. The thesis includes history and landscape development in the Czech Republic and the history of important landscape features and landmarks of the territory in the selecte area. The analysis of changes was based on interviews conducted with selected eyewitnesses and based on a comparison of historical and current aerial photographs. There were also used scetches of the stable cadastre of the town Březnice. The datas from the LUCC CZ database were also used as a significant lead. The conclusion summarizes observed changes from objective sources as well as from the testimonies of the witnesses. The testimonies of the witnesses were compared with the testimony of the younger generation. The objects of my analysis were different vegetation elements.

This diploma thesis deals with the transformation of Czech cultural landscape in Ostopovice municipality. Firstly, the cultural landscape is described in detail and there are identified the specifics of the selected area. Subsequently, there are compared and evaluated changes in the landscape in the last 60 years. Used methods, such a scanning, questionnaires and SWOT analysis are described in the methodological section. There is also Ostopovice community and landscape-ecological context characterized in detail within the selected time period. There have been identified conclusive landscape changes over the time comparing historical maps to the present ones. Subsequently, the perception of these changes was detected by the population of Ostopovice through a questionnaire survey and interviews. The results of SWOT analysis reflect mainly the opportunities of the landscape in selected area. All three hypotheses were confirmed by using selected methods and subsequent evaluation. The results confirm the significant changes in the cultural landscape of the Ostopovice village.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the memory of a landscape, especially a rural landscape which was methodically processed as a review. The thesis dealt mainly with overall characteristics of the selected area in terms of the physical-geographical, ecological, regional, historical and cultural conditions. Afterwards the aim was to compare these characteristics and their changes in time. It was done by the comparative method. The results show that the selected area changed since 1953. Main changes were noticed in landscaping. The residential area was extended too. Matrix in the area is still an agricultural land, but due to the land unification in the 60s and 70s it costs the loss of its mosaic. This negatively affected mainly landscape character and a secondary structure of the landscape.

The bachelor thesis deals with the Landscape changes in Rosice-Oslavany basin in connection with black coal mining. Thesis contains literature review on the topic of evaluation of landscape changes and on the topic of coal mining in the Czech Republic and characteristics of the area of interest as well. Part of the thesis is evaluation of the landscape before and during mining and in the current time. Evaluation of the current state is accompanied by survey focused on satisfaction of residents with the present landuse and by calculation of ecological stability. There are also outlined proposals to improve the situation of problematically used parts of the landscape.

LAND USE/LAND COVER IN THE SOUTHERN SUBURBAN AREA OF THE CITY ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE

This bachelor thesis deals with the land use and land cover in the southern suburbs of České Budějovice, which is defined as the suburban edge of cadastral municipalities directly adjacent to the cadastral territory of the regional capital of South Bohemia České Budějovice. This thesis tracks changes in land cover and land use, occurring in the area of operations between 2008 and 2011. In the theoretical part are firstly discussed the problems of suburbanization and land cover changes and its use within the Czech Republic. The thesis also includes the maps of updated status of land use / land cover of the particular cadastral territories for the year 2011 and the charts following the development and movement of population between the years 2004 - 2010 in these areas.
