The influence of transfers on budget management of the regional autonomous unit in specific conditions of the town Most

The final thesis focuses on the influence of transfers on the budget and the budget management of municipalities. The theoretical part deals with the basic notions, defines regional autonomous units and their budget management and the following part describes transfers. The practical part analyses the budget observance of the town Most as well as the influence of received transfers on its economy between years 2009 and 2011.
Regional disparities of Germany with focus on new federated states

The main aim of the thesis is to give a complex overview of different types of financial sources, from which new federated states can take benefits, and to give an opinion on the created effectiveness. Additional aims are to sum up the situation of the East German economy after WW2 and also the progress in its reforming during the 90s. Different historical development of the both former divided parts of nowadays Germany is essential because of understanding the economic situation of East Germany in 1990 and the nowadays problems. The first chapter sums up the economic consequences of the post war period, the influence of reparations, demontages and their dimension. In the second chapter follows an evaluation of the main topics of the beginning in the 90s - monetary reform and privatization. The third chapter goes on with the topic of economic reforms in the 90s and defines basic financial programs which are a long-term support to new federated states. Fourth chapter compares main chosen macroeconomic indicators of Germany and EU-27 and then of the old and new federated states. First, economic level of the whole Germany is being analysed and then its regional disparities. The last, fifth, chapter monitors the situation of Germany and its new federated states in the point of structural funds of the European Union.
Fiscal policy of the Ukraine

The subject of the diploma paper/dissertation "Fiscal policy of Ukraine" is the analysis of the development of fiscal policy of Ukraine and its influence on the economical situation of the state. At the beginning, in the first part, we briefly define fiscal policy, its goals, functions, forms and tools. The diploma paper then characterizes the budgetary scale of Ukraine focusing on the separate items of the state budget. In the last part, the experiental one, we analyse the periods of the development of fiscal policy in Ukraine from the year 1991 and the influence of the main measures of the Ukrainian government on the macroeconomical indices.
Evaluation of the convergence of the economic level of Western and Eastern Germany

The aim of this work is the determination of the causes why the Eastern German economy is, in comparison with the Western Germany, on the lower level in spite of milliard grants, what are the causes of mass unemployment and whether the contemporary condition follows the resolutions of the year 1990. The first part of my work deals with the negotiations about creation of the united Germany and about consequent results, primarily those of economic, social and financial union. I mention briefly the role of the EG in the whole process. In the second chapter I describe the state of economy of the former DDR and the after-unification measures that where drawn to improve the situation. Then I deal with the phenomenon of ostalgy and with detailed economic development from the 1990s until today. In the final part of this part I introduce the reader with the German way of privatization helped by the Treuhandanstalt privatization agency. In the third chapter I deal individually with the areas where the East is behind the West -- structural insufficiencies, questionable innovative industry, low intensity of establishing of new companies and low inflow of investments, demographic progression, unemployment, salary conditions and indebtedness. In the fourth chapter I compare the New Länder with other problematic regions in Europe and with the countries of CEE. In the fifth chapter the differences among individual Länder are introduced by the macro-economic data. The sixth chapter deals with the questions about transfer payments that flow from the West to the East, and finally the seventh chapter which introduces the perspectives to the future and suggests the alternatives for improvement of contemporary condition and for establishing a new direction.
The Influence of Transfers on the Economy of the Autonomous Territorial Unit

The undergraduate thesis focuses on using various kinds of transfers by the autonomous territorial units. The work points out the options of how the transfers can and do support the reinforcement of the autonomous territorial units. The theoretical part deals with the basic terms and their definitions, characterization of the autonomous territorial units and understanding of these given issues. The practical part analyses which parts of the town Meziboří are influenced by the transfers the most as well as the all in all influence of the transfers on the economy of the town Meziboří between the years 2004 and 2007.
