Development of multilayer polymer floor systems
Tesař, Filip ; Vyhnánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (advisor)
Multilayer polymer flooring systems belongs to widespread materials for industrial constructions and also for public constructions. These are mostly two-components polymeric materials based on epoxy. The main aim of my thesis is to make list of requirements for multilayer polymer flooring system and utilization of waste materials as fillers in polymer epoxy. Then use this knowledge for development of multilayer polymer flooring system and propose the new recipe and primary test´s for this material.

Durability of alkali-activated systems
Šafář, Martin ; Šoukal, František (referee) ; Kalina, Lukáš (advisor)
Alkali activated binders have the potential to become an alternative construction material to ordinary portland cement binders. This thesis concentrates on durability testing of alkali activated blast furnace slag and fly ash based concrete. The chosen aspects of durability included sulfate resistance, acid resistance, carbonation, freeze-thaw resistance, frost-salt resistance and porosity. Microstructural changes and formation of new crystalline phases were observed using XRD and SEM-EDX analysis. Potential application of the tested material from the durability point of view was evaluated by comparison with a reference ordinary portland cement based concrete.

Optimization of concrete mixture based on alkali activation of secondary materials
Šafář, Martin ; Šoukal, František (referee) ; Kalina, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design, preparation and optimization of concrete mixture based on alkali activated secondary materials – blast furnace slag and fly ash. Sodium hydroxide partially replaced by bypass cement kiln dust was used as an activator. Mixture design was based on model made for Portland cement based concrete. Observed properties were workability of fresh mortar, price of mixtures and mechanical properties of concrete. Microstructure and composition of concrete was studied by SEM-EDX and XRD. Analysis of raw materials was based on XRF. The optimal mixture composition was chosen from obtained data.
